    RVD, out by WMXX?

Even still I think he's been passed up by the current group of guys doing this stuff on NWA every week. Heck, I know I can't be the only person. Keith keeps blowing his load over the Ultimate-X match (which I thought was kind of flawed due to the showstopping problems) and in particular the program from a week ago, but holds off the prasie on the old RVD ECW matches.

    Smackdown Spoilers

Alternate recap on 411 sounds stupid and/or political: The good part, the Eddy/Cena match, is pretty much covered in full. But what's the point of: In the last quarter hour? And why is TSPWGTT on Velocity? A better recall of the Kurt/Brock thing: But... Assuming he didn't injure himself, they have been doing a really good job of burying Brock, if they really want to do that. Sure, he doesn't draw as a main eventer, but neither does Big Show.

Well, seeing that this is an election that's ages away, looking at the competition, and I find the issue more of a state issue than a federal issue, I really can't fault THAT much a guy from an east coast state who's used to people on the OTHER border airing his opinion on an issue he probably hasn't followed since it's origin (i.e. how this bill has LESS security than the one Davis refused to sign pre-recall and how that's an obvious sign of desperation.) It was a foolish move, but in all fairness I really can't say that endorsement makes him irresponsible as President.

Climbed a pole? I don't remember any damn pole climbing when......... Nevermind.

That is funny for some reason. All the pretty ladies love the Black Caucus. Now that THAT low-brow but inevitable joke was made, it's time for... JOTW's Politician Rating Thingy (like Marney's but built in secrecy without U.N. oversight using uranium purchased in Africa) Mosley-Braun: Thumbs In The Middle (she seemed articulate every time but once but her political talk was usually of less substance compared to her race pander. I've heard better from her better) Al Sharpton: Thumbs up (best slams of the night, rambled less about race than Mosley-Braun [or at least it felt like it], is certainly a charismatic guy although I don't think he's convinced many that he's a safe choice. Minus points for buying into Gray Davis' vast right-wing conspiracy bit.) John Edwards: Thumbs Down (said almost nothing new compared to last debate. Lost in the crowd.) John Kerry: Thumbs In The Middle (guy was asked less questions than everyone else but did nothing to stand out until closing comments. Failed to address opinions of Bush tax cuts when others did.) Dennis Kucinich: Thumbs Up (Sure he's the farthest left of the bunch, but he expressed his opinions, stood by them, and didn't get busted on them by the others, so it's a success) Bob Graham: Thumbs Down (Lost in the crowd. Got going once and then the LaRouche people made their first interruption) Dick Gephardt: Thumbs Down (Didn't show the spark he did last time when he hammered on the miserable failure lines to a great pop. Crowd just didn't seem interested. Slightly busted by Kucinich.) Howard Dean: Up (Never lost control of the whole thing. No-sold the smear attempt by Lieberman.) Joe Lieberman: Gold-Plated Thumbs Down "I Ain't Got No Friends Award" (The LaRouche stuff is near irrelevant as they interrupted him before he could get going. Was nearly booed for the Isreal stuff) Dean re-earned the respect I lost when he talked about the illegals and their liecense, Gephardt disappointed me when he didn't have nearly as much energy as he did last time (he does have quite a voice for campaigning now though) and I'd actually like to see Sharpton take some time off from the activism stuff to persue a political talk show. He's pretty humorous and puts an "every guy can understand this" spin on the left, which could stand to be simplified on many positions. He actually held his ground against Shawn Hannity shortly after the debate and even got Hannity to concede on the racial stuff.

EA Sports, 1 week until written contracts

I'm guessing Lynn, D'Lo, Raven, etc will sign. XXX, maybe AMW... The spot-monkeys, I'm not so sure. Mysterio (not that I'm saying he's a spot worker) and RVD have been blazing trails for more little guys in the WWE, and even though it's only midcarder roles, I'm sure guys like Red would rather be held down by HHH for big bucks than be the most over guy in TNA for smaller bucks. And could you guys stop fucking talking about AKI like they're some kind of gods. Yeesh.

    Another View of Howard Dean

For what it's worth, I've met MECHa people and they really aren't that bad. Maybe they were just befriending me so they could use me for Kill Whitey Day or something, but I kind of doubt it. Bustamante's loophole activities and other crap though have lost my vote. Come on, Arnold.

I think this is the very first hour ever of Fox News where Democrats are getting more time to talk than Republicans.

I would vote for Bush sooner than Lieberman, but I feel sad for how all the shouters wait for him to do their thang. At least he shouted over them now.

Arrrgh, why did Dean bring up Affirmative Action himself. Should have waited until the Fox guys baited him into it.

I wish Sharpton used his "What if this building was on fire" analogy about Iraq, Tony Blair, and the focus from WMD to "liberation." It was pretty darn funny when he used it in front of some tiny audience on C-SPAN. "What's even worse is this President trotting out his friend, Tony Blair, who can't even keep his own Parliament from thowing stuff at him when he talks. How would you feel if I said 'This building is on fire, we gotta get out of here immediately' so we all get outside, and you say, 'So Al, where's the fire?' and then my best friend walks up around the corner and says 'Ah, you needed the fresh air anyway.'"

Some descriptions of Lyndon LaRouche, for those who are wondering who those screamers are talking about. From Everything2, the internet's user-maintained encyclopedia:

Actually, Lieberman is like babyface Scott Steiner in early 98. Everyone KNOWS he's secretly a heel and is just waiting for the turn.

Lieberman just jobbed to Dean. The crowd was almost booing him when he got his one-sentence rebuttal in.

Lyndon LaRouche supporter at the debate getting kicked out? MAXIMUM COMEDY VALUE.

It certainly wasn't very effective. Dean's response was basically "Hey, I imagine Mexico is willing to make these sacrifices" and the room popped quite loudly. Fox is like the damn War Channel. No domestic questions YET.
