So far, a few of the questions have been a tiny bit silly or assuming, but everyone is reacting to it well. I'm interested in seeing how all of Dean's domestic stuff changes. He got his balls busted by Lieberman and some others for lines like "If we can have this (health care) in Vermont, then why not in all of America" so he'll be saying something different now I imagine.
-
I don't get this. From my view, many of the guys in the X Division is doing better stuff than what RVD is doing. I think even a few of the spotmonkeys there sell better than he does, too.

I can't read what's on the back of the Angle shirt in the white. It's too tiny. That Fuck Goldberg shirt is so bad. Is his face supposed to be exploding? Maybe he opened the lost ark or something?

You underestimate the crappyness that was Judgment Day and last year's Armageddon.

A New York 12 year old sued for file swapping

When you buy Kazaa (WTF? ) you're supporting terrorism! Illegal MP3s flew those planes into those buildings! -
Fair enough. I still have my reasons against it, but I risk starting a race debate and that could be a nasty thing in an innocent Howie thread like this.
-
Dean has nearly lost all my interest when he supported Gray Davis' recent move to give illegal immigrants their own Drivers' Licenses. Dunno, Howie. If you don't need jack or shit to get a license, then terrorists can get licenses instead of having their explosive-loaded car/truck impounded and discovered by authorities. As President, isn't that kind of important to you?

How do you ever make another Austin?
Jobber of the Week replied to Damaramu's topic in The WWE Folder
It kinda helped that Austin was pegged as a future breakout star since Stunning Steve days. -
Again I have to remind you, we always talked about how H would never put anything over. And there you go.

Who set up the table? If it isn't the Frenchies, I doubt anyone will be fired. I think it was DVon and somebody. They probably overestimated the range La Res would get on that move.

Oh bullshit. I remember the one episode were Claw turned around and was wearing a mask just like the one on the back of his chair. At least, I'm pretty sure. I think it was a Halloween show or something. It made perfect sense to me, because that symbol on the chair and everything MAD related was a face and no body, and Claw always appeared as a body with no face. Please don't tell me I dreamed that whole thing up.

My mom noticed Coach is looking pretty pumped compared to what he used to and assumed he was going to become a full-time wrestler. Coach's heel turn was never perfection to begin with. The reason we talked and laughed about it so much is that it's a guy that the crowd never cared about in the first place, so turning him heel didn't make a single person care any more.

New Zogby Poll For All Of You To Disregard
Jobber of the Week replied to Dr. Tyler; Captain America's topic in Current Events
Actually, KKK wasn't Mumia for a while there. I didn't know it was him for a few days. -
Oh come on, there's far better slams against Arnold than that. That magazine interview, for one. He keeps changing his story, saying at first "Oh, I lived very differently in the 70s and it was a very weird time and blah blah blah" and now he says "Interview? What interview?"

New Zogby Poll For All Of You To Disregard
Jobber of the Week replied to Dr. Tyler; Captain America's topic in Current Events
KKK? Huh? Sorry, typo. I guess I got you and kkk confused, because you're both Bush defenders and because of all the avatar changing that's been going on. I need to get away from the lefty sites and visit this board more again so I can keep up. -
New Zogby Poll For All Of You To Disregard
Jobber of the Week replied to Dr. Tyler; Captain America's topic in Current Events
John Ashcroft running around telling us that the Patriot Act is really a good thing and the U.N. thing as of late hasn't helped him. I'd imagine it's a bit lower than the medium of all those polls KKK mentioned, but not as low as the Zogby because of the whole "fair as a negative number." I doubt that affects more than a few points though, as people either love or hate this guy with very little in-between. -
Lemme sell at ya, playa'! Are You One of 20 million Americans that are Thuggin & Buggin With No Health Insurance, Playa?? We Offer the Newest, Most Complete FREE Quote Service on the Internet, So Don’t Wait Any Longer! Whitey Ain't Gonna Offer You That Kinda Deal, Belee Dat!! .....Okay, so that's not precisely what it said, but I saw this and almost sprayed Wild Cherry Pepsi all over my screen. At least we now know where Vince gets his ideas for wrestler names. He just opens his email.

Casey Junior's jumping off the track! Time for heart attacks! Time to break a back! Hopefully this will be a wake-up call for Disney like the Columbia disaster was for Nasa, and Disney will realize they can't keep maintaining 25+ year old rides on the cheap.

Nothing at first because Vince was just pulling shit out of his ass. Later though, BookDust. I remember them trying to get the Dudleys to fight the NWO, but the Dudz were busy with other things.
-
Problem was that Vince booked faster than even WCW's old "NWO Hyperbooking" (to use a Keith term.) I remember Hogan's debut interview saying he could see himself turning face way down the line. Instead he did it after his very first match. The NWO would have worked if they remained a novelty act. Hall, Hogan, and Nash would have worked greater as a mouthpiece for a new generation of heel stable guys. They were great in their first night, interrupting a cliche'd Austin promo and the Rocky thing needs to explination (I'm the only guy on this board who loved the ambulance bit, by the way.) Of course, the ultimate use of these three guys as NWO would have been if Vince wouldn't have fucked up the Invasion so incredibly hard. They could have used Hogan's nostalgia pop and had Hollywood Hogan as a WWF babyface in the Steve Austin "badass people cheer for" mold. Imagine if the WCW war was done properly and Vince cut a promo bringing in the NWO, saying that he sent them to WCW last time to ruin the locker room and wreck the company (a conspiracy theory that had quite a bit of backing among marks and semi-smarks in the 90s) and now he was "bringing them home" to fight the new WCW. It would have worked perfectly. Ah well. These guys don't know the definition of "novelty attraction" it seems. Of course, neither does Hogan.

See, stuff like this is why overboard fundies bother me: http://www.greaterthings.com/Editorial/NWO...WO_gimmicks.htm I already went and made sure it wasn't a parody site or anything. The fact that people can be SO dumb simply astounds me.

Ah man, here I thought Marney was letting us know that someone in Gitmo had been secretly executed, with nary a word to the media or outside world. Stop starting up my Ranting Gene unnecessarily. I was going to start talking about civil rights and shit. As for this guy, I wish all his idiot supporters out on the lawn praying for his deed could be locked away, as they're likely to be found doing the same thing in the future. Ah well, can't win em all in a democracy.
-
Well, since it's the guy's primary source of income, I can understand those who won't buy his movies in the future, as long as we don't go overboard boycotting with stupid shit like video burnings and crap. However, this really isn't a big enough deal for me to hate the guy. He actually demands to read and approve the script of the movie he's working on, and thus he's been a part of some interesting movies. Anybody remember Nick Of Time, where terrorists were using him as gunman in a plot to kill a U.S. Senator? Uhm, yeah, that probably wasn't the best example, but anyway.... Also, my Mom thinks he's hot, so I'm going to be seeing plenty of him whether I like him or not. *sigh*

Possible change to J.R. vs. Coachman at Unforgiven
Jobber of the Week replied to Kurt Angle Mark's topic in The WWE Folder
(Lawler hits a dropkick) Bischoff: OH! The flying swinging pancaker flippy kick just flattened that guy! Austin: That's a dropkick WHAT I said that's a dropick WHAT I said once WHAT I said that there was this time WHAT I said WHAT... I mean, wait... There was this time once, where I got really drunk, and Debra was actin' up, so I turned around and... *mic is killed*
