    Your First Live Event

First event was a Raw show (the "Stone Cold can take his ball and go home" burial special) that was worth it IMO. Main event was Booker/Brock and Booker was WAAAAAAAAAAAY over. Plus, Rocky suprise appearance seemed less predictable in person. WMXIX on the other hand, wasn't worth what we spent, but we spent way more than necessary in the end.

    Invasion vs Goldberg

Booking Goldberg like WCW books Goldberg would be an even bigger slap in the face to WWE fans, as they clearly don't like this guy already and don't want to see him no-sell their favorite wrestlers.

Being gay is the new trend

You realize that's like if I said: "I also doubt a guy in a 'beer-hat' with a Hooters t-shirt and a pot belly is representative of a highly evolved being"

Then why are there HIV Positive lesbians? And yes, just this year a new transferable HIV between lesbians has been found:

It is possible, but HIGHLY unlikely. -=Mike --- VERY HIGHLY unlikely http://www.aegis.com/news/ap/1990/AP901005.html

No, you hit a grain of stupidity. You're being blasted from several fronts here for making such a stupid fucking comment. You say anal sex is dangerous and unhealthy: I agree. You say anal sex is most likely to transmit AIDS: I agree, but I stress that it's not the ONLY way to transmit AIDS. You say that any straight man who has anal sex is a closet homosexual: I say WTF and wait for some kind of research for this wild comment. You won't provide any because you don't have it and so you've made yourself look like a fool. Sorry ladies, Ron Jeremy is secretly a gay man.

You seemed to miss my whole rant about how HIV isn't only and exclusively for gay people. You also seemed to ignore the facts about that from the past few years.

    Liberal Republicans

And a lot of people took offense at that because of the platform Strom was running on at the time. It's not like he was talking about the recent "Hey, let's diversify in this cabinet!" Strom, but the most dispicable aspect of the old Strom. The apologists (and I realize not all the rights here are included in that. Marney called him a waste of skin and a good excuse for term limits) went and told us that because it was different times, it was considered perfectly acceptable for Strom to run on a segregationist platform. This would be a fine enough statement that both sides could settle on, but the apologists fail to use their own logic when they attack Byrd for being a member of the Klan at about the same time.

Okay, though you should know from someone over here that almost nobody has actually SAID anything yet. Although Bustamante introduced his "Tough Love For California" plan yesterday which mostly consists of taxing drinkers, smokers, and the upper crust. If he didn't talk about ending useless programs, I'd just roll my eyes. I hope both men address the immigration issue soon, though. That could be the decision-maker for me.

True, but that quote will likely come back to bite him in the ass. Hell, I'd add it to my sig if a I was a "add lines to my sig" kind of person.

    Fox News sues Franken

This WILL be settled out-of-court. In fact, I think these two are in cahoots. Fox's weekend "Fox News Watch" program on Sunday which features a host and several talking heads actually went on about this story. That's right, they were talking about their own lawsuit. This is all part of a deal to sell more books.

He's painting people with a very VERY broad brush and providing no studies to back that up. I'm taking the more defensible, sensible side. And you're asking ME for the evidence?

    Liberal Republicans

I'm not sure either. I could buy what some of the conservatives say here when they say "But when Strom spoke out against blacks it wasn't that taboo to do so at the time!" The problem is when the double-standard occurs. You see, when a Republican does something completely stupid in today's world (see also: Lott) they suddently say "BUT BYRD WAS IN THE KKK LIKE FIFTY YEARS AGO!"

BWAHHAHAHAH It is good to see you are adept at killing your own credibility on these boards. I'm too lazy to do it all alone.

Being gay is the new trend

I said the leading cause of HIV in women is heterosexual sex. This figure is worldwide despite K's interest in soley US-related data. But of course he's trying to blame homosexuals for leading the spread of AIDS, and by ignoring the worldwide issue happening in many other countries like South Africa he's selectively picking his evidence to keep just what will support his opinion. Now, I'm going to speak from my mind from here, purely opinion with no statistics to back me up. So get ready: I think that, in general, homosexuals are better educated in the risks of sex than heterosexual people are. However, in the case of homosexuals, there is quite a bit of education on the subject learned over time. This is because our culture (Showtime and Bravo aside) floods us of images of male/female relationships. Anyone with an attraction for the same sex excluding the "I'm gay because it's cool" people, initially has that outcast feeling where you don't know whether you properly "fit in" because your feelings are opposite those which you keep having shown to you since childhood. Eventually our example person realizes s/he isn't alone, there's other people like this, too. This "we're all in this boat together" feeling is most likely where that gay "community" bit, love it or hate it, comes from. Along with this enlightenment comes knowledge (in today's society, at least) about STDs like HIV, safe sex, regular testing, etc. There is no denying that America has had, at least a while back, a "that's only affects gay people" attitude towards HIV, that plus a "it can never happen to me, right?" mindset probably makes many straight people LESS likely to test for STDs than gay people are.

In women, yes. I said in the beginning that I was talking soley about women. Stop trying to discredit me through your own ignorance and read.

Not sure what you mean. I know there's a lot of so-called "Queer For A Year" types that are usually colleged-aged that seem to pretend to be gay for whatever reason, probably because it offends their parents and that's what young people like to do. However, not everyone who hangs around gay people and gay stuff wants to be gay. I have quite a few female friends who have several gay guy friends because they know they're not being hit on and that they can safely be friends without being proposed in 2 weeks. =b

    Liberal Republicans

Ben Stein (former Nixon speechwriter and current cliche'd Boring Guy) is on Hardball right now talking about how Eisenhower was considered a liberal Republican in his time. Stein is really on the show to bust on Ahnuld though. He's rather blowing his cover how he keeps bringing up right as some kind supreme directive of the GOP. He's actually saying Schwartzenegger (and yeah, I know I 99% likely spelled that wrong) shouldn't be registered Republican soley on his abortion stance. Just admit you're an activist on this issue already, Ben.

How many people do YOU think will hold the title

Fuck Goldberg has been booed so many times and is such a loose cannon flaunting his lack of any kind of emotional investment to the company and how he can leave at any time, they can't possibly.... No. That'd just sink morale even further. If FGB wins the belt, then I'm not watching Raw until he jobs. My prediction is HHH limps out with an "injury" so he doesn't have to job and Jericho beats one of the cliquesters.

Bomb explodes at UN HQ in Baghdad

There's going to be more people killed on all sides, and unfortunately with these tactics it seems innocents might take a higher toll than troops or terrorists. Stuff like this can be helped by flushing the roaches out, stuff like citizenry sabotaging things can't be until a new government can be formed and they don't feel like we're occupying the place.

Being gay is the new trend

Fine, then it's 30 percent, and that number is not likely to stabalize soon. Just in 96, the leading cause of HIV in women was coming in contact with an HIVpos man that allows it to spread. Six years later the leading cause is heterosexual sex, and there's just as much loose heterosexual sex as there is loose homosexual sex so I'd expect to see that number go up. I don't have a problem with people doing whatever they want for the most part, but my hershey highway is my own and I'm quite content with it being purely for exit purposes, thank you very much. Maybe I'll get over that someday or maybe I won't.

That's a stereotype. There's quite few mentally stable well-centered individuals in this state. They just don't vote.
