The Chevy Chase Show. Worst show in a long hall of shame of bad Fox shows. The same week it got dumped Chase showed on Letterman's (then still new) CBS show and bitching about how bad it was and looking like he was going to go back to snorting coke to kill himself. Greg the Bunny was WB, by the way. And since we're talking about shows that appeared in time to capitalize on the X-Files craze, I'll mention Millennium.

The legendary fairy tale of Walt Disney has unfortunately led younger people to believe he was utterly selfless and not concerned with turning a profit. Please. Disneyland opened in the 50s with almost no water fountains so that Walt could sell more Coca-Cola. He was at least as tight-fisted as Eisner is, the only difference being they spend money differently in the rare occasions they do. Walt simply spent most his money on things the public could see or touch, while Eisner throws money on appraisals, management, branding, and all other kinds of crazy 90s business catchphrases.

Chances are, you're going to need the emergency repair disc from Dell. If you have a Microsoft-supplied XP disc (like the kind you can buy from the store) it might work, but OEM companies like Dell and Gateway and so on usually seem to install special hardware made just for them that only works with the special copy of XP they give you with the computer. Unless this computer is so old that it shipped with one of the older OSes (98, ME) in which case a regular XP disc would likely work fine.

LOOOOL Laughing Out Out Out Out Loud? You need some medicatation for that stuttering.

Silly boy. We didn't need a Massachusetts liberal. What we needed is a Massachusetts conservative.

You make it sound crazy or eventful, but that's probably the least important thing I could care about in that scandal. I don't give a shit if he's lying about his sex life when you don't have a jury before him. Gadzooks, he's hardly the first. The events seemed rather boring and predictable, except for the Bush family, whose opinions I don't care about. It's pretty obvious to them that Clinton was an accident that shouldn't have happened, and that we ought to be just coming off eight years of Jeb and maybe have elected Dubya for the first time the other week. Well, at least we DID just elect Dubya for the first time last week.

She does have a tooth gap, and I haven't seen a cartoon of her from anyone with her lips parted that ignores it. I wouldn't say it's so much worth calling racism as simply the cartoonist trait of taking something identifiable with someone and exaggerating it. That's why Dubya always has huge ears or Clinton had a really fat face in everybody's cartoons. I got ruined by the Apprentice because everytime I see her I think of Omarosa. They look close enough to be related. Plus they both lie like mad.

The Marine who shot dead an injured man
Jobber of the Week replied to Vanhalen's topic in Current Events
I think generally people remember Vietnam and while this war doesn't statistacally compare with that conflict, people remember how returning veterans were poorly treated by people who wanted to take out their opinion about the war on anyone, and the poor chap who just got back from fighting it would do. It is a good thing that we take special consideration that we pardon the people fighting the war while still disapproving of the war, and that we have realized they have very little say in the matter. -

If you guys keep feeding flames to INXS, you simply encourage him to keep being stupid. Tom, either ban the guy for surpassing our Moron Quotient (the same Moron Quotient that also thankfully eliminates every insane right-winger who rambles on about how being gay is something people choose to do to be offensive and how gay relationships bring our society down) or just ignore him and let him keep spouting bile. Because going on about what a waste of cells he is isn't going to do anything. And I honestly think INXS crossed the Moron Quotient test long ago. -
Wait a second, you mean you managed to sit through the South Park movie without exploding in rage about how it's destroying America's core beliefs and destroying young minds? Did you not feel the stinging buzz from your RepubliCard? It was GOP Control saying "Abort! Abort! We must not lose our moral compass!" (kidding, duh)

Good article about liberals and conservatives

What a bunch of excuses. Figures it's from a spirituality website. -
The ending is actually very neat if you've played and invested time in the story of Bungie's Marathon, a nice plot-heavy thinking man's shooter that almost nobody played because all anyone cared about was Doom II and it was primarily a Mac game, making it's audience smaller. Anyway, in Marathon AI's tend to have a problem whereupon they take in too much information from being in such large networks and go crazy. Not just a little crazy, but super duper batshit "I know how the universe will end and I'm going to get out of here before it does" insane.

So, uhm, that makes it okay? -
Hello, welcome to what I said on page 1. Although "insider accounts" I don't really have a problem with. Anyone can be an "insider." My sister's cousin's brother twice removed's aunt's husband knows somebody who knows somebody who has coffee with somebody at the intelligence firm, I swear!

When you installed, was there an option to let everyone use the program or just that Windows account? Even if it doesn't have that option, other people SHOULD be able to use it but won't have access to your bookmarks, options, cookies, and other personal data that's kept in the folder for your Windows profile data. To new users, it should look like a fresh install. Not saying it WILL, just saying it should.

It lets you play Matroska in Windows Media Player and other players that don't support it natively. Uninstalling a codec: right click on my computer, choose properties, hardware tab, device manager, double click on Sound, video, and game controllers, double click on video codecs, click on the properties tab, highlight one and click remove. However, if you simply installed Media Player Classic, you didn't install any codec.

All I can say is that I hope that soldier doesn't try and run for President, because if he does the same people who think it was a good deed today are going to create Iraqi War Veterans for Truth and torpedo him with ads about how dishonorable it was. -
The intelligence agency works for the country, not the President. It's expected from time to time there'll be Presidents not everybody gels with. And in response to the "Clinton did it, too" shit: Well I'm sorry, I was kind under voting age and not paying that much attention to politics back then. I don't ever remember saying Clinton was flawless, but if you can point out an occasion I'd love to see it.

Kurt Angle vs. Daniel Puder: The Whole Story
Jobber of the Week replied to Enigma's topic in The WWE Folder
Doing TE live is a bad idea, I think it's obvious by now to say. Perhaps it's the crowd or the cameras, but guys are either, by inexperience or cockyness, pissing off the top tier guys that they got on the show to eventually work with. I don't even understand why they had Angle shoot a gassed out guy with zero experience. What the hell was that for? If he wasn't told to do that by management but improv'ed it himself, I'd say he earned what happened to him next time although clearly that guy was acting beyond what he should have, too. That Puder guy makes me wish we still have Brock Lesnar around, because he could probably fuck that guy up harder than old & battered Kurt Angle. -
Traitors to the country. Not "traitors" to the politicians. Giving the enemy intel is a crime, being a left/right winger with a government job is normal, as far as DC goes.

While I think firing people because they leak classified information is a good thing, firing people because they dislike your politics and want you to lose an election is not.
-
Aww, too bad. Maybe the CIA and State Dept have it right.

Just about everybody gets spyware or a virus at some time or another. The problem is the people who either don't know about it, or do know about it and simply don't care. There's free solutions to both problems, so saying you're unwilling to pay simply isn't an excuse anymore.

Those download manager programs are crap. Sorry, don't use 'em, can't help you with 'em. Go here for extensions: https://update.mozilla.org/extensions/ As for the extension I mentioned, I don't know if it's been updated to work with the new 1.0 or not. I can't remember what it's called, because I just use the default download manager.

http://www.magnusbrading.com/bmc/ HartFan, I don't know what the heck "DAP" is, but there's a number of extensions to change how Firefox handles downloading, including a minimalist design that has the progress bar in the status bar instead of opening a seperate window.
