Looking for a program that can edit gifs
Jobber of the Week replied to haws bah gawd's topic in Technology
Can't Windows XP's viewer do that? I think if you open up a graphic file in the default Windows viewer and rotate it left or right then close the window, the changes are saved and made permanent. -
He's not posting nearly enough.

Cheney in hospital for shortness of breath

Giuliani doesn't have the support of the Republican base because he's too pro-choice for them. Plus, I've mentioned a lot of times, the guy has way too much scandal to survive the dirtmining that happens at the Whtie House level in politics. -
The only thing I wish they'd change about this show is the high tension levels present through the whole program. It practically wrecks the nerves and I keep waiting for someone to open up a can of soup or something equally simple with scary music and everyone nearby gasping as nothing happens.

I'm generally a PC shooter man, but I've played my friend in the first one's split screen mode enough to get decent at it. I'll see about playing him a bit in the second one when he gets through the campaign (doesn't want to do multiplayer until he does) and I can try out the new guns and maps. If I can get him to let me use his Live ID (I don't have Live), perhaps we can set up an arranged TSM party (no clan, I think he'll want to join his group of friends) and go around kicking other people's asses? Maybe we can annoy a whole server by having a dispute in public chat about whether Bret Hart or Chris Benoit was the better wrestler in their primes.

Give this a try, I guess. I found it by googling. I'm on a Mac right now so I can't give you any idea about whether it works or not.

MKV is Matroska. It's a different type of video file that's taking off but being embraced for foreign films because it allows for integrated subtitles you can turn on and off. That way if you want to, you could watch the movie with the subtitles off instead of having them encoded directly on top of the video file and as part of the movie. Try installing this and seeing if it works. updated: whoops, I thought you just wanted to play the video file. No, I don't know why those file types no longer play in WMP. Try uninstalling and reinstalling it, I guess. Or you could just use Media Player Classic for everything, because it rules.

What kind of streaming file are we talking about here? Windows Media? QuickTime?

Bradford fucked up, Stacie J was an easy target for Midget Stacy who was willing to blame the fuck out of people so she could look flawless. My only interest in this show was hoping that when Midget Stacy was fired, Stacie J would ambush her getting into the taxi and kick her teeth down her throat.

I know it's a joke but DUDE. You were the other half for like five years. Well now we know why Savage quit. He got paranoid that he'd be working in Hogan's backyard.

I thought he and one of the other spot monkeys could have been the new Hardy team. Instead, they skipped all the best parts and went right to the Jeff hardy style crazy fucker look.

Myth. http://www.ipodlounge.com/forums/showthrea...?threadid=19556 Basically, that 500 is only if you ran it from fully charged to fully empty every single time with no in-between. NiCad batteries (used in a lot of other devices) are built in mind that you're sometimes charging when the battery isn't completely drained and sometimes you don't charge all the way. They'll last longer than you think because you don't constantly charge from 0% to 100%.

You didn't say what brand of video it is.

I'd guess neither. I imagine he'll be remembered as a stubborn leader who would only be interested in peace if every possible condition leaned his way.

Is this why CSI NY seemingly ran twice this week? -
I'd join you, Cerebus, but I live too close to this to avoid the media train infesting my local TV and papers.
-
They've aired it twice, actually.

Well, the guy HAS been saying "It's time to unite, the line starts behind me" except in more eloquent terms since the election ended.

We still have less electoral votes per person than Wyoming. Each voter in Wyoming represents a good deal larger a percentage of an electoral vote than California. Anyway, that's not really the problem, we just need to do the Colorado thing. Unfortuately, both parties will actually agree on something for once and oppose the idea if it's brought up. Neither side wants to lose their "safe" states. -
For all the wrong fucking reasons. I hated when this started getting national coverage because I got enough of the shit actually living in the bay area.

Yay, I guess. I don't get out of the house much so I've used it more as a portable hard drive between machines, but there have been long waits in doctor's offices and car trips where it's useful. Also, portable audiobooks.

I need help determining what software I need.
Jobber of the Week replied to iliketurtles's topic in Technology
Okay, I've done some research. The first thing I did was downloaded the PDF manual for your phone and did a search for USB. No results. I then Google'd newsgroups and read discussions. It seems that Nokia doesn't actually support USB connections for your phone, it's an entry level model and PC hookups weren't considered and it was expected the user would buy/download all ringtones and such through the phone. However, some third parties have made software and hardware they sell for it. What you bought was the hardware. Two such programs are Mobius and Oxygen, but they aren't free (although Oxygen has a trial.) If you're hoping for a free program, no luck. -

Looked through my usual places for downloads, can't find anything. Is this a really old model phone? -
Problem is that the majority IS stupid. You know it, you've ranted about uninformed ignorant voters before.
