Since I got nothing else to do, I guess I might as well ask: why do you not like the Democrats THAT much?
-
We're just gonna have to agree to disagree here, I'm afraid.
-
There's nothing painful in waiting until all the votes are counted. If, when everything is counted, Bush has more, hey, he has more.
-
That's like me picking FreeRepublic as an example of the majority of Republicans.
-
Hey, I'm hoping we fight this, too. Four years ago I said that Gore should have given up earlier and left the scene because we could just win the next one. I know better than that now. However, I'm not stupid enough to sit and rant about how the man isn't my President and I'm moving to Canada. You're doing this and I know you're going to be lining up to vote again in the next election, so shut up and admit it. You're being almost as retarded as Mike is when he claims the other side is UnAmerican, but even worse than that, you're giving his retarded arguement credibility.
-
Heh. A friend of mine updated his blog thanking everyone for re-electing Bush because it means even more tax cuts for him. I should mention that this kid is in his early 20s and his family recently blew $60K willy-nilly on sports cars. It'd be sad if it wasn't so funny, for me anyway.
-
You have a point. The mental health bill is passing by a very large margin, and Arnold was against that, which was pretty predictable because it only taxes his tax bracket.
-
Because you live in a democracy where the guy you didn't vote for can still end up being your President. This is pathetic, please stop.
-
As a politician, I still like him. I'm just finding myself on opposite fences from him for the first time on the DNA database and the Three Strikes amendment, and not enjoying the results.
-
You're officially now acting as dumb as Mike is. Quit it.
-
California's three strikes law is a tight race. I'm starting to dislike Arnold's golden touch.
-
Jon Stewart: "In Mississippi, you are no longer allowed to even look at a dude."
-
Uh, not really. And if you want to say Bush won the popular vote, then you need to count all of them anyway.
-
I can understand gay marriage bans, although I don't like them. However, banning civil unions (which many of these amendments will do) goes from sad but predictible to religious dumbassery.
-
I'll still wait for the provisionals. There's quite a lot of them because of that law that you had to use a provisional if you didnt feel like traveling around the county to find the place where you were allowed to vote.
-
Well, there is Provisional Ballots. The chances are slim, but I don't think we should begin the inauguration until they're counted.
-
Okay, it turns out AAR still lists it as too close. "Don't believe Fox News and NBC for a minute, there's a reason nobody else has called it except for them."
-
I'm done with CNN. I'm just listening to Air America now. I can't tell if they're trying to arrange people to protest in Columbus or what.
-
Hahaha, the BoSox are paying for the private jets to distribute the DNC lawyers to wherever. Source: CNN

I suspect Moore was a push. He probably turned off enough people from voting Kerry than he gained. F9/11 had logic holes and outright lies (going to war for a pipeline) that made me want to pound my fist and shout "NO!" because they were so, so wrong and the film would have been amazing if he had only not gone into conspiracy land and kept to the acknowledged truths with some partisan issues (like Halliburton) spiced in.
-
All I wanted was four years of a gridlocked government so the rest of the country could gasp for air and recover the economy without someone raising the national debt through the roof.
-
It'd be nice thinking the last. I really hate the way the media has handled this since the AP has still refused to say anything and it's not 100% yet. But still... My country tis of thee, sweet land of fundies, of Jeebus we sing (and legislate, too)...
-
No, but they were the first. Again.
-
hahaha CNN acknowledged the Fox thing and said they're not ready to do that yet. Would be nice if Fox jumped the gun again and fucked up. Glad to see we're not watching the opening of F9/11 play out again, with or without John Ellis. I'm tired of Fox deciding elections.

Tim Russert thinks there's still a chance. The lead is shrinking. I'm already doing my depressed drunk act, but it'd be amusing to wake up suprised tomorrow.
