It's a Drudge "exclusive." Beweare his exlusives, because the other links on his sites at least are just links to organizations with credibility. The exclusives, however, do not. And lovely for you to go through someone's records like that, Drudge.

So not having Ralph Nader on a ballot will cause less people to vote for Bush? What kind of people would vote for George Bush that were originally going to vote for Nader?

1) Fox News' latest ratings beat a whole bunch of those TV stations combined. What good is a bunch of outlets promoting one view if the one promoting the other view is getting all the eyes and ears? 2) Nobody has high standards for Fox, and they exploit that. Fox is really blatant about their partisan attacks and compensates by calling themselves the most balanced news on TV. The others are trying to actually put on a balanced program, which is why there's a massive cover story when someone fucks up hard like the 60 Minutes documents. If that aired on Fox, there would be no similar sized outrage. The most done on Fox was an amateurish movie interviewing several former staffers and a few media pundits. There is no liberal equivelant to Fox's flag-waving and conservative dick-whipping. 3) Some of those are more questionable than others. CBS, NY Times, okay sure. CNN, I don't personally believe it but there's enough people who disagree that I'll go ahead and let that one pass too. But CNBC? Washington Post? Eh? What did they ever do? See, this is the problem. I can come up with cases that some sources have shown bias (Bush documents, Fox's partisan politics breaking out in the middle of a news program, and I guess Watergate if you really want to go that far.) But there's a rather crazy theory that almost EVERY mainstream news source, the ones that 80+% of America watches, is biased to approx 50% of the population. If the people they were supposedly biased against stopped watching these shows or reading these papers, they'd no longer be in their current positions. So there's a disconnect somewhere. Either people are really stupid and will be fed news that is slanted against them, or perhaps not ALL of these sources are as biased as the others, and the feeling that they are has simply snowballed among political observers because certain people have repeated it so many times that those receptive to them now think it's true. -

Well, I looked through Google, but all the top links on the story were NewsMax, FreeRepublic, and right-wing blogs acting like this was the end of the world. Some of those same blogs still keep statistics from that site on their page, though, which kind of makes all the snivelling look like someone wanted an excuse to bitch.

There was some speculation and talk about that, it quickly returned it it's previous count though.

Oh, sure, you might say NOW that talking to a member of the opposite sex is better is better than the Cuban Assassin's top rope summersault flip, but wait until you've spent 10 years with that person and come back. You'll think she's a bitch, but the Cuban Assassin tape will still love you.

He will never top Bob Dole. Dole fell off the stage like a fuckin' HERO, I tell you.

If you want to talk about markets, I'll reccomend this one. It's been pretty good to me so far. The general trend is that Bush did worse than expected in the debates, but then suddently everyone realized it didn't matter because there are practically NO undecided voters left at this point.

I think the Old Posts Parade should be saved for when Kerry wins. Perhaps we can embarass Mike into leaving here voluntarily. -
I'll admit, it's pretty hard to take an article seriously when they're promoting patriotic ketchup. NewsMax = IndyMedia, for me. I don't think Slate is THAT biased, in fact I think it's rather tame compared to lookalike Salon.com.

I only read about this (I've been withdrawn from politics lately) tonight and chuckled. I don't know if she really didn't know or not, I figured she did know and still thought it was great. But then again, I personally have no interest in "homemaker first, career second" women. Get some ideals and dreams and aim higher. -

I think the best part is reading on the YES Network site about how unprecedented and earth-shattering this loss is. Mmmmm. -
How does Athlon 3200 compare to a p4 2.8-3.2GHz?

Dr. Tom: Tom's Hardware, although it's pretty and they DO test this stuff, is kind of like the Drudge Report of hardware websites. Sure, everything may be factually correct, but Tom's is pretty renowned for being slanted to Intel. I have an Intel myself and only owned one AMD (a K6-2 300mhz), but that's simply the way it's viewed in the hardware world. So, take 'em with a grain of salt. -
Many types of MPEG files can already be turned into DVDs, as MPEG is the standard used for VCD, SVCD, and DVD (although DVD uses Mpeg-4.) Assuming you want to turn a file into something DVD ready, I reccomend TMPGenc and the DVD program from the same company. Fast simple stuff that I use to turn Divx into DVDs. A simple 700MB Divx flick has great quality even after it's been converted to DVD, and the quality loss that is there is worth not having to download a 4.7GB DVDR.

I bought tickets and eBayed them, never got any call. If they do, my impression of WMXX will be "screw you guys for putting it on the far other side of the country instead of somewhere easily accessable by both coasts."

The ALCS: New York Yankees vs. Boston Red Sox

This again proves my point that there's nothing better than the sounds of stunned silence in the stands of Yankee Stadium. Although NY-NY blaring over the Away team's victory, which is pretty great itself. -
Cosplay is wrong 95% of the time. If you look nothing like the person you're imitating, don't do it. If the person you're imitating looks absolutely nothing like what people in real life look like, don't do it. If you're a girl and you're two sizes over what your favorite character's short shorts will allow, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD don't do it. I've seen too many 150lb Faye Valentines and 185lb Sailor Scouts to last me a lifetime.

AOL Poll predicts Bush blowout in all but a few ridiculous pinko New England states. America circle-jerks in large neoconservative orgy. WASHINGTON - Joyous celebration spread through the public square today, as an America OnLine poll about the November election predicted President Bush would win a massive landslide. President Bush and VP Cheney were delighted to hear of the poll, and were drafting a new foreign policy that an inside source claims is titled "Fuck y'all, if you thought the last 4 years were bad, wait'll you see this." This successor to last year's "Don't Mess With Texas" plan was shot down when an aide informed the President that AOL users are idiots and their polls are always ridiculously slanted. Backwater southerners were especially happy. "If AOL says it, it must be true, right?" asked Bumfuck, LA native Ted Berrian, wearing a National Rifle Association jacket and randomly firing an AK-47 into the air outside his home. "We gonna git them terrorists now, I tells ya!" he shouted. Pausing the gunfire, he stopped to ask a reporter "Did you know them sumbitches like to fire off their guns at weddins? What a bunch of savages! I only do it when it's right: At my son's high school graduation and at funerals." Added Berrian, as the gunfire resumed, "That's why I always votes Republican every chances I get!" The nation's retards, inbreds, and morons are truly at peace by the results of the AOL poll. Slightly smarter Americans, such as political windbags and hacks, are also embracing the poll. "The race isn't over yet, but I think this poll tells you everything you needed to know" said professional blowhard Sean Hannity. "I think this is a prelude to the storm we're going to see on November 2nd. If John Kerry thinks it's in for him now, wait until he sees what happens when a crucial state like.... Uh.... Rhode Island, changes sides." Ann Coulter, a nationally known airhead, was not available for comment. Her publicist said she has been masturbating all day to the news of the poll. TV anchor Bill O'Reilly could not be contacted because his phone was busy. He'll be on the Hot Girlz Party Line all night until 8 P.M. if you wish to inquire for comment.

No, it's pretty easy to gripe about neocons. All someone has to do is watch you at work. I can't believe there's people who feel the need to act as aggressively as they do.

I present Buchanan with the Lack of Spine award of 2004, for three long years of complaining about Bush, complaining about Iraq, complaining about Israel, and then giving in and endorsing the man instead of an alternative. And shit, even endorsing some third-party nutjob would have been more honorable. Congratulations, Pat, you can store it next to your autographed poster of Hitler.

Scott Hall & Kevin Nash officially in TNA
Jobber of the Week replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in TNA Wrestling
Then they should just give that move to somebody else to satisfy you and spare us Hall/Nash. I thought Hall was doing better controlling his habit in TNA, though, but they couldn't afford him. Was that the case, or did he go back to the bottle? I figured without Steve Austin pouring beer on him night after night that perhaps he can do better. -
Damacy isn't even a Japanese word. I wish they should have come up with something more traditional, the title makes it absolute hell to ask over the phone whether a retailer has it in stock.
