Former Fleet? What's it called now?

Patriots and Red Sox. Checkmate. Before either team was worth a damn, the Sox had a hard time selling out Fenway, as did the Pats in selling out Foxboro. I know that people support a winner, but I've laughed in people's faces as they told me that they were "diehard Red Sox fans" without knowing jack and shit about stuff prior to 2003/04.

I don't think the Jays are seriously thinking of dealing Chacin. He's been a constant for them this season. I can see Burnett going to the Orioles or White Sox. I don't think the Yanks can offer Florida what they're looking for. They'd have to take Encarnacion, which I doubt they want to do.

Close to where I am now, but in a more secluded area. The numerous hurricanes suck, but in the winter it's nice. It's typically 65-70 degrees everyday, practically no humidity. The only thing that sucks about the winter down here is the fucking TOURISTS. ARGH. But, there's a downside to everywhere.

Vancouver Canucks And if the Bruins somehow make it with the #1 pick...good god.

How close are you to Columbus or Nashville?

The love of the game seems to be good enough for me. Tejada and Willis are two examples of that. Hell, if you were in their shoes why wouldn't you? You get paid either way, since it's an MLB event, so you don't have to worry about losing money for an injury.

That guy couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat.

If Abreu homers to leadoff the game, they should give him the MVP award.

7/10 AL starters are from the AL East. Only Teixeria, Vlad and Buehrle are from different divisions. I'll be watching, I guess. I like that there are 22 players who have never been here before, it gives the game a different look.

Personally, I think the ESPN generic play-by-play guys like Dave Strader and Dan Shulman are better than Buck. Just because Buck has done big games for FOX doesn't make him the end all behind Al Michaels. Who else was going to call those games? Thom Brenneman? Kenny Albert? Unlikely. At least Strader and Shulman have emotion behind what they're calling.

Heh, Dusty handling the Marlins staff would be hilarious. Might as well set a date for Dontrelle's TJ surgery.

Marlins can get to the WC, but I can't see them contending for the division. They've underachieved and shown HUGE weaknesses. Pierre hasn't been very good this year, Lowell is downright terrible, the starting pitching outside of the D-Train has been painfully average. Meanwhile, the Braves and Nationals have gotten production from people they weren't expecting it from and their pitching staffs have been very good. I think the Marlins needed to get off to a hot start and build a lead. As it is, they haven't gotten on a roll yet and with Beckett missing time again, they need to depend on a lot of people to overachieve. At the same time, they have to hope that the Braves and Nationals fall apart. Well, if the Braves haven't fallen apart yet, it's unlikely that they will. Andruw Jones has been an MVP candidate since Chipper went down. Washington has a slew of weapons (although I think they're due for a slide soon. There's only so long that you can be outscored by your opponents and that pen can't hang on forever.) With that said, if the Marlins rally and take the division, I'll congratulate you, but there are simply too many things that have to fall into place at the same time for that to happen. WC maybe.

Almost an Orioles injury scare, as it appeared that Brian Roberts rolled his ankle over. He's fine and Ponson gets out of a bases loaded jam with only one run allowed, getting Manny "Pure Power" Ramirez to pop-out. 2-0 Sox.

http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/ne...t=.jsp&c_id=bos Red Sox get Alex Cora from the Indians for Ramon Vasquez. Also might be bringing back Gabe Kapler, which I like. BIG series for both the Sox and O's tonight. Wells has been ok in his last few starts, hopefully Manny and Papi can keep up their hot streaks. I'd like to see at least 3/4 taken from the O's this series

What's a mintune? Anywho, Max filled in for Dan Patrick a few weeks back and did a decent job I guess. He's not that bad when he's not screaming.

It makes more sense to have your alias as a regular name. But, only if the entire team uses the same name. That way, if some crazed dame tries to get your room at the hotel, the hotel will be all "well, we have 30 Paul Smith's staying here"

We'd better not see a lot of wind and rain. I'm a satellite tech and this storm could cause me to have to work for like six weeks straight again.

Sadly, I actually watched part of the Indy500 when she was winning the race. That's what they're trying to do, get people like my girlfriend to watch to support the females.

Maybe we should just make "This Week in Baseball" and "This Week in Yankees Baseball" separate threads. In other news, the Red Sox have chased Young from the game after 2.1 and 7 ER. Manny has hit his third grand slam of the season, his 20th of his career. Pretty soon, teams might walk him with the bases chucked, like Showalter did to Bonds a few years back when he was still with the DBacks.

Usually you can look at the ip on those type of sites if they leave comments on an entry of yours. I don't know if that's how MySpace works though.

His story says that the convenience store was next to the Burger King and they ate at the McDonald's.

What do you really think about the 4th of July?
the max replied to Art Sandusky's topic in General Chat
As someone who doesn't have the day off, I'm not really thrilled about it. But, I do enjoy the holiday pay plus time and a half when I work today and tomorrow. -
