What radio stations do you like to listen to?
the max replied to Rob E Dangerously's topic in General Chat
Southwest Florida/Fort Myers: In my car: 99X: Alternative Rock 770AM: ESPN Radio In my work truck I have a CD player and hate listening to the radio as it is. -
Gotta keep 10's and 20's in the drawer.

So because she was out with her friends having a good time, god "weeded" her out? Dazzling vindication there. I guess should I be out with my girlfriend and a crazed madman comes into the restaurant and kills us both, we "deserve" it right? I mean, we're out of the house, and kind of near the riot, right? We should be boarded up in our houses contemplating ways for the Yankees to get back on track, god forbid people have a good time, right? Pull thy stick from your ass and realize that she was not inciting anything, she was THERE. This happens in life and sadly, sometimes death as well. She didn't do anything but try to enjoy herself and for that, she deserves to die because she's within a few blocks of a riot? Fuck you. Fuck you, you insensitive prick. She wasn't "celebrating in the middle of a riot" you fucking boob. She was out with friends. God fucking forbid.

Schilling did that to the fans after the Angels series. Not with champagne, but with Bud Light.

Kahran's Canadian, so that may count for something. I think that Mussina should have pitched in his hometown. I see that side more than the other one.

If you scalped these tickets, I'd kill you. Dead.

I only get to watch it on tv. I'm like those Mastercard commercials, I'd give up anything for World Series tickets. Except my girlfriend. And my computer. Actually, I'd just give up huge amounts of cash.

Do you mean five best because the Red Sox won four of them, or do you actually think they were "great" games? Games 4 and 5 were awesome, but all the other games weren't that interesting. I'm biased, obviously, but games 4 and 5 were tremendous. 6 and 7 were great for me as a fan.

You missed quite possibly five straight of the best games in recent memory.

I thought it was Jack Buck it was Um.....oops? And I have to admit something: I gave up after game 3. I didn't even want to watch game 4 after the 19-8 loss. I just wanted the Yankees to end it (read my post from after that game). So I'd like to apologize to the Nation for losing the faith. What a fucking rollercoaster ride this series was. It tops last year's, not only because I was laying in bed in Miami with jet lag watching Boone's homer fly out, but it was THE, not possibly, THE greatest comeback in the history of American professional sports. Oh, I flat out said that baseball was over for me for the season. But then again, who wouldn't after your favorite team gets shelled 19-8 in an ALCS game?

I don't even know what to do. Celebrate? Sleep? I've done nothing but use the words "holy" "shit" "unbelievable" and sat in silence since the game ended.

Never been prouder of a team in my life. Ever. This is what they do to you, for people here who aren't Red Sox fans. They always give you the idea that they have no shot, that they have nothing left, they always raise you up. Sometimes, they kick you back down. Then, sometimes, they bring you on their shoulders for a great moment. Go Red Sox. 4-3.

Tito, I swear to god...

They did, early in this series. Exactly, and it was a good series at that time. Not for me it wasn't. If this game is boring to some, so be it. I've waited for my entire life for a team like this. Why don't you go change your avatar back after counting your team out?! ha! I changed it out of anger, and this avatar seems to have a certain luck to it...heh

Don't fuck with Jesus. It's in the bible, in the back somewhere.

Stewart v. Clemens was the "Roadrunner v. Wily Coyote" back in our day.

BROWN'S DONE!!

ORTIZ~! Sveum made a mistake of sending Jesus after he had to wait for the grounder to clear the infield. Fucking Sveum.

I'm not Boston area, but I'll be watching in a hotel in Winter Haven, FL. Sure are a lot of Yankee fans down here...

Julian Tavarez scared me when he was flipping the fuck out after the Beltran homer. He looks like a drug dealer as it is, but when he was spazzing out, I thought he was going to shoot Beltran. I get off of work at 5, so I'll miss a little bit of the NLCS, which sucks because this series has been competitive the entire way through. I find myself cheering for neither team, but I guess favoring the Cards. Pujols rules.
