If Tony Clark hits one out, I'm going to kill myself.

Foulke's been warming up, so sez TIMMAY. Although that might be Myers, knowing TIMMAY

JUDGMENT. Jeter was at second base. No because by your "Judgement" Jeter scored before they ever said, "dead ball" The fact is, A-rod Swatted the ball and the ball was declared dead. Just like a foul ball is a dead ball and even if the runner gets to second before the ball falls into the stands, HE STILL GOES BACK TO 1st. I didn't say he scored before he hit the ball. But I'm pretty damn sure Jeter was at 2nd BEFORE A-Rod hit the ball away. You're missing the point, mike. A-Rod never got to first, therefore, Jeter goes back to the base that he occupied when the pitch was thrown

As soon as A-Rod swats Bort's arm, it's a dead ball and Jeter goes back to first. Sheff pops out. Good work, Bort.

Because it's a dead ball. Jeter wouldn't have made it to second.

No, only if he's in the process of running. He swatted the ball away. And now the ignorant fucks in the Stadium are throwing things. An EXCELLENT call again by this crew.

Come on, Bort Arroyo. Old Man Wallace had better calm him down.

Wakefield's delivery and the fact that he doesn't throw hard at all makes it easy for him to pitch for some time. Knuckleballers usually have an easy delivery.

Win or lose this series, Schilling will always have my respect for this performance tonight. Hobbled, coming off the worst start of his playoff career and put into a must win game, he gives them 7 innings of one run baseball. What a performance, what an effort, SCHILLING~! And good for Bellhorn for hitting that kid in the front row. About time he shattered out of that slump.

Wow, it only took until the bottom of the 4th for the overreacting, whining, and crying to come from the worst, stupidest, most ignorant fans in baseball..yanks fans.

Why Bellhorn is still in the lineup is fucking beyond me at this point. Inning ending double play.

Millar singles, Tek with a surprise bunt that A-Rod can't throw, mini-Manny follows with a single of his own...bases loaded, one out.

I like mini-Manny for Cabrera. I think he looks like Manny in terms of facial structure and the way that they dress and carry themselves on the field.

Bobo comes from me trying to think of as many first names that begin with "B" so as to keep that McCarver joke going. I don't even know what Bronson's nickname is. Foulkey just sounds cooler. Don't deny it.

If the series goes 7, I expect the Red Sox pitching to look like: Bobo Arroyo (for 4) Wakefield (2) Lowe (1) Tim-bre-yers triple header (1) Foulkey (1) Of course, the Red Sox are boned if it goes into extras. Although with the roll that he's on, I'm sure Ortiz would pitch a perfect inning.

He has an issue with both calls. He didn't go around on the check swing, and he was safe on that stolen base. His hand was on the bag.

Ortiz just stole second, but was tagged out. Fucking umps.

mike546, why not try at least making a point with posts? Wakefield gets out of the inning and pitches around a ManRam in left to get Manny-Papi-Mientkiewicz up for the twelfth.

Great bunt, Jesus, you fucking idiot. Cabrera likes pressure...a liner into the gap sounds good right now. So, looking ahead, should the Red Sox pull the win out of this here, the rumors are Schilling starting in game 6, correct? I don't know how much I like that.

Mueller drops one in. There's the runner on, here come the two outs. Mueller almost got picked at first, too. HOLY SHIT, MARK BELLHORN JUST GOT A HIT IN A SITUATION WHERE ONE WAS REQUIRED!!!

The ALCS: New York Yankees vs. Boston Red Sox

Wow. I was wrong. Good pitching by Myers and Embree. Got Mueller, Bellhorn and Jesus due up. So, that's a runner on and two outs for Cabrera.

Left specialist, just for Matsui. The only problem I have with it is that Brekin Arroyo can pitch for a few innings. Embree's in now, which means that the pen consists of Mendoza, Derek Lowe and a one-footed Schilling...

Why is Mike Myers pitching? Was Bobby Arroyo striking out two of the Yanks best hitters not good enough for Tito?
