Are we to describe our teams so as to get votes? Ala the NBA All-Time draft?

Nobody knows take-tittied white girls like LOTC.

Final pick, one of the favorite Boston Bruins of the 1980's. Fight, hit, put in a few goals (career high 84 points the same season as his career high in PIM with 177). Played a physical, two-way style that will go well on my fourth line with MacLeish. Finished with only 494 points, but was a consistant player through his 10 seasons. With the final pick in the TSM NHL All-Time Draft, the Excitable Boys are very proud to select: Keith Crowder. R. Richie Sexson was released. Guess paying him 15.5 million to OPS .696 this year doesn't work for the Mariners.

I'm guessing that we should abstain from voting for ourselves? I mean, I could easily send my 1-14 with my team on top, just because.

They didn't HAVE to match, you know... I don't see a problem with offer sheets.
-
Bernier was an RFA. Restricted free agent. If he was a UFA (unrestricted) once he signed the contract with the Blues, he becomes Blues property. RFA's can be given offer sheets by teams but the player HAS to sign it for it to be matched by his team. If the Blues offered Bernier the contract and he told them to take a flying leap, nothing happens. Bernier signed it, which gave the Canucks 7 days to match. Obviously, since they just gave up something for him only a few days ago, they matched.

Vancouver only had his rights. And if I'm the Canucks, I'm already questioning Bernier's commitment to the team. He's willing to sign an offer sheet to play for another team even though I just gave up picks for him? Bernier's a questionable motherfucker. Attitude issues, work ethic problems, questionable loyalty to the team who owns his rights...sounds like a real great guy. Demitra signing the same contract as Ryder makes me incredibly happy. Ryder has at least performed well in the new NHL, minus the down year last year. Demitra has never had the number that he had before the lockout.

That's boring. You're boring. Quit boring everyone.

Well, basically I just copied the logo that we have now. Then, I added fins to lower wind resistance. And this racing stripe I feel is pretty sharp.
-
How dare you deface my player by misspelling his name!? Stefan Persson. That's the name. Not Steffan Perrson. Jerk.

Not pictured I'm sure was the opposing player breathing on Kovalev.

I don't watch much (read: any) tennis, but that Wimbledon final was fucking epic.

Yesssss. With the final pick of whatever round this is, The Excitable Boys are very happy to select this player. He had a dynamic season as a 23 year old, finishing with 100 points (including 21 power play goals). He became an important part of the Flyers in the 1970's as a penalty killer who could produce offensively. He led all scorers in the Flyers 1974 playoff run with a 13-9=22 line in only 17 games. The following year he supplied 20 points in 17 games as the Flyers repeated. He finished with 107 points in 114 playoff games. Through the following years he became a two-way star for the Flyers. He finished his career with 759 points in 846 games, about .9 ppg. He is 42nd all-time in shorthanded goals. Motherfuckers, Rick Macleish. C. For my coach, this guy seems like a worthy candidate. 413 wins, 3 Cups, has a trophy named after him. Only person who has his name on the Cup as a player, coach and GM. As a GM, he built a farm system that produced some guys named Howe, Lindsay, Sawchuk, Kelly, Abel and Delvecchio. He finished his GM career under scrutiny for union-busting and a controversial trade of Ted Lindsay to Chicago. Most of the core left after that and he was fired. Motherfuckers, Jack Adams. Coach/GM.

I've been asking myself (and my very disinterested girlfriend) the same question since the end of may. Kottaras is OPSing .798 on the farm right now. Not much better than Varitek, but honestly, it's time to start looking at moving on...
-
I just realized that I only have one active player on my team. A shock.
-
I've been busy stabbing my Julio Lugo and Jason Varitek voodoo dolls. That Josh Bard trade looks great now. Varitek is cooked, but the only other option is Kevin Cash.

Burgers. I like hotdogs, but a good hotdog isn't nearly as good as a quality hamburger. Hamburger, toasted bun, little bit of mayo, black pepper. Goooood.

http://canucks.nhl.com/team/app/?service=p...rticleid=367822 Sabres send Bernier to the Canucks for a 2nd and a 3rd. Rumors are swirling that Bernier had a shitty attitude in his time in Buffalo and was in bad shape. Take that for what you will. Buffalo got a 1st, 2nd, 3rd for Campbell.

Hey, if the Kings need to get to the salary floor, they can have Glen Murray. I'm sure there are Bruins fans who will pay for his plane ticket and drive him to the airport. And he can be yours for a late draft pick!
-
at least you can rest easy knowing that kind of attitude will never flow into the Bruins. Players will most likely always take a paycut to get the fuck out Good one? Chara took less money to go to Boston. So did Savard. Ryder just picked the Bruins over five other teams who were going after him hard. I can't say I know much of anything on hockey but I think its safe to say that this isn't the top choice of star players to come to. Chara from what I could tell came because his old GM took over here. It's starting to turn around though. I guess I'm just tiring of the constant "Bruins are cheap" bullshit. They've successfully signed good players in the last few years. Since you admittedly don't know much of anything about hockey maybe you should keep your opinions to yourself. I don't comment on basketball in this thread because I don't know anything about it.
