DEATH TO THE BOTTOMLINE!!!!!!!!!!! It's fine on ESPN2 during a hockey game, so that I can check scores easily, but it SHOULD NOT show scores DURING A SHOW. They can have top headlines: "Gary Bettman murdered in cold blood; Fans don't care" or something, but taking the scores out would force them to actually cover OTHER sports like hockey, WNBA, etc., so they aren't going to do it. The only people that I can even watch on SC now are Mike Greenberg, Kenny Mayne (WHERE IS HE?!), and...that's it. The rest are so into their catchphrases and bullshit that it's become a fucking show of unfunny one-liners. ESPECIALLY Kevin Frazier. I want to kick that guy in the goddamn face. The nightly Top 10 is crap...as most of the time, it's a dunk or something and I'm staring at the tv like..."that's a #1 play?!" Like a few weeks ago they had the play during a Flyers game where Hackett got knocked away from the crease and Marty Murray (a forward) jumped in the crease and made a save with just forwards equipment on. The play was incredible. It was #6 on the Top 10. #1? A guy doing a slam dunk.

defense, that's all anyone ever says.

Guess they plan on loading up for the upcoming 'old-timers game' now. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story.asp?id=60895 It's due to the Reasoner injury, but even so, it looks like a good pick up. He wins draws, sets guys up well, and plays good defense.

I don't admit that he's our only star. We've got Helmsky, Raffi, Brewer and a whole bunch of guys. (And yes, I spelt people's names wrong. SUE ME~!) But, you should read the Edmonton newspapers and crap. Anything on Comrie, it's top of the sports page. It doesn't matter if it's not even about the game, he's front news. The guy has been made out to be the local hero, and hence he DOES get that type of response of he's the hero that must be the only factor to winning. And yes, that comes from him being from Edmonton. When I talked to my grandpa (big hockey nut) about it, he told me Comrie would be gone for this exact reason in about this much time. Everyone makes him out to be the guy. I think he'd rather just be another Oiler, and besides, really he's only a small factor to why they are good. All that is to be expected. Since he's from there, he has a connection with people. It's the same thing with Edgerrin James, and Philip Buchanan. They are both headliners after the two Florida sports teams because they have a connection. And Hemsky and Torres are far from stars yet. Brewer is there now, but defensive defensemen hardly win any popularity contests. Goalies and forwards are always popular, which is why Salo is a big star, as is a great talent like Ryan Smyth.
-
He's far from their only star. Hell, I think more of Ryan Smyth, Jason Smith and Tommy Salo as clear-cut stars than Mike Comrie. Comrie just has more pressure on him with being from Edmonton and playing for the local team.

The Comrie situation is more of the franchise getting pissed at him for not signing the contract that they gave him, and him wanting more money.

I'd still do her. Man, have some pride, get some standards. I have standards. She's hot. And she can play guitar.

I've been wondering that if I kill Jared and throw him in a river... would that be ok if I had a cold cut trio from Subway for lunch?

If they make Lost in Cleveland an easter egg, I'll mark out.

She said that she tried to get in touch with Jack after Teri got killed. Nobody's going to get romantically involved with him this year.

I'm more of a fan of the CKY related guys...Margera, Maldonado, Getz...but I have a liking for Burnquist too.
