Clerks 2 got our somewhat hard-earned cash on friday. I still haven't seen Superman and I'm really questioning whether I'm actually going to make a 2+ hour drive to do so.

I don't know how much the Triple B is going to be able to get done, but the DOL is a definite option.

I went in having watched Clerks last night, preparing for the big sequel and was pretty disappointed with the first few minutes of it. I felt that they were trying so hard to re-create the first film that it was coming off as forced. Especially Mrs. Silent Bob's performance. Very forced and just, like...bad. Also felt like they were swearing just to swear, like when a kid is away from his parents and trying to be cool. So I sat there debating with myself about certain merits of the movie and finally decided to just watch it as a regular movie. After that, I enjoyed it. I did not like it as a sequel though. It's more of a different film with pre-existing characters. That said, the jail scene was done very well by all involved, especially Jeff Andersen and Jay(!) who showed some acting chops for a brief moment. And Rosario Dawson was absolutely fucking awesomely hawt. Overall, I give it a 5/10 as a sequel and a 7/10 as a regular film. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it. But as a sequel it felt forced and almost cliched at times, while as a regular film, it was a romantic comedy with a donkey sex show.

Opie & Anthony every morning on xm202. After their show is over, I listen to Ron & Fez or surf around on xm.

Fasano has a cool Fu Manchu mustache. That's about it. Although he'll probably have to shave it off. Another thing I noticed about Fasano is that he runs like he had cement poured into his pants. Also, he looks like a street tough in an 80's flick.

Interesting subplot mentioned by Michael Kay (sp?) and Joe Morgan in separate interviews I heard today. They've speculated that part of the reason Derek Jeter hasn't come to his defense is that he is still bitter about A-Rod saying he was a better player years ago before he joined the Yanks. Talk about holding a grudge. The truth hurts.

grazi. Hemsky signed a 6 year deal with the Oil. I've heard at about 4 million per. That's an absolute steal for a talent like that.

The dog is a pain in the ass. Too many nights barking at chairs, the tv, etc.etc. because he's a fucking spaz. The idea of not pissing on the floor is still slowing sinking into his head. Asshole. The girlfriend's cat is nice. He's not the scratchy type or the asshole type. He mostly lays around and bugs the dog. I like when he lays on my chair while the girlfriend and I are watching tv, which is surprising considering I hate cats.

I drive 9 hours a day within a pretty large work area. I have a cooler in the truck for bottles of water/juice/some cola. Sometimes, I bring a lunch. Usually, the easiest thing is a sandwich at subway or quizno's or something. Then again, I get an hour that is absolutely fucking mandatory. I have to call into central and tell them when I'm taking the lunch and then call them when I'm off lunch. Too many people (myself included) were just eating while driving and taking the extra 90 bucks a week.

Louis CK is a great stand-up so his timing is impeccable. I know the pause you're talking about, btw. He does it in his stand-up all the time.

Bulis = Carter. Anson had better lower his demands.

Sexson with a walk-off homer. Sexson hit the homer off of: a- Jonathan Papelbon b- Mike Timlin c- Lenny DiNardo d- Craig Hansen e- John Wasdin Who could have caught the homer?: a- Jonathan Papelbon b- Mike Timlin c- An asian gentleman in the crowd with a Street Fighter shirt d- Manny Ramirez e- Coco Crisp Answers: b, a. Why Papelbon was in the fucking bullpen in a tie game in the bottom of the ninth is fucking baffling. Timlin pitched the 8th. He has proven in the past that asking a second inning out of him is asking for trouble. To get around this, Papelbon is warming in the bullpen. Francona decides that Timlin is obviously the better choice because Sexson is 1-16 career off Timlin. Great. Now he's 2-17. If he uses "not a save situation" in his postgame, I will not be a happy boy.

Too bad he's the best shortstop on the team and he's playing third.
