It was a work phone so I just sent it back and got a new one. I would guess if you have phone insurance or something that it would be covered.

The Things That Anger You Thread.

Both of my HTC phones have been dropped numerous times and the only time I had problems with one was when it literally fell on the corner of a baseboard. Right in the exact spot it needed to fall to shatter the screen.

That would require Steve doing research. Everyone knows he can't stop blinking long enough to look anything up.

    Hockey Awesome Poll Fun Poll

I don't understand the constant tinkering by the GM's and the BoG. Never had a problem with ties, but I don't have a problem with the loser point either. Instead of fiddling, why not let the ideas actually develop and see where they go? And the tv timeout after icing is retarded. The point of it is to punish the team that ices the puck by forcing them to keep the same guys on the ice with no break. They didn't earn the breather, why give it to them? If anything, it will slow the game down to how it used to be. Prolonged attack by one team, the other team just throws it down ice to take the icing and the minute breather, get the puck out and change. Not much excitement there. But hey, we should all listen to Brian Burke more.

I made fried apples last week for a dinner side. I have since gone through about 4 bags of them and have been eating them with every meal. God they are so much better than the sludge Cracker Barrel throws at you.

    24 -- Season 7

Just caught up with the last 3. I like what they're doing with Jack being framed. Hopefully it lasts longer than 4 episodes like in season 5. Having him go rogue and just being Jack Bauer is something that they haven't done in a while. All he needs is Chloe and he'll be fine.

I'm sure there are other goalies who can have staring contests and still play well at the professional level.

Or it could be that Carey Price really isn't the next greatest Montreal goaltender of all time and is merely an above average prospect that was pushed too soon.
  13. When I had food poisoning last week I shit in my shower for the first time ever. It was just this thick, yellowish liquid that drained right away. Other than that, I piss in the shower. I can't jerk off in the shower, my arm gets tired.

    Knives, Pans, and Kitchen Gadgets

    - 2 good lightweight frying pans. One has sloped edges, good for omelets. - 2 good medium/large saucepans for heating quick spaghetti sauce for quick dinners. - 2 3 or 4 quart stock pots. Have 2 for making big batches of sweet tea. Plus it's good for boiling the fuck out of potatoes when 1 is in the dishwasher or something. - Dutch oven and cast iron skillet. I mostly fry meats now. Last thing I made in the dutch oven was salisbury steaks. - Electric griddle. Great for pancakes and grilled cheese and whatnot.

I like what the Bruins did. Dealing away Lashoff doesn't hurt the defensive depth. Chara, Wideman, Ward, Ference, Montador, Stuart/Hnidy/Hunwick. Montador is a solid addition to the defense without giving up a ton. As I said earlier in the thread, Nokelainen is made of balsa wood. He can't stay healthy but still plays a style that's not conducive to staying healthy. And Karsums is a small forward who lacks the speed or shiftiness to not get murdered at the NHL level. Recchi instantly makes their powerplay better as it hopefully gets Axelsson the fuck off of the powerplay. Wheeler/Ryder-Savard-Recchi Bergeron-Chara Kessel-Krejci-Kobasew/Lucic Montador/Wideman-Ference/Hunwick Lucic-Savard-Kessel Ryder-Krejci-Wheeler Axelsson-Bergeron-Kobasew Thornton-Yelle-Bitz Chara-Ward Wideman-Montador Ference-Hunwick/Hnidy/Stuart I like that team in the playoffs.

Nokelainen plays gritty but has hands of stone and is made out of balsa wood. Enjoy.

We call them delusional. Recchi and a 2nd for a middling offensive defenseman and a 3rd liner at best.

Kobasew's a winger. They're not getting Kessel. If that's what it would take, Murray is delusional.

And most likely you will be losing Kessel, Bergeron or Krejci in this deal. IF IF IF any of those players are involved, the deal isn't made. Period. Chiarelli understands what has gotten the Bruins this far has been their young players stepping up big. To trade Kessel in the midst of his breakout year would be stupid, as would selling low on Bergeron. Krejci might just end up being the best of them all. For one of them to go would just be crazy. They can fit Pronger's salary in by dealing Kobasew and assorted parts (Lashoff, Stuart) and draft picks (though the Bruins do not have a 2nd this year).
