Yeah, I'm not sure why they are calling him attitude Jericho, but then again, what do you call him? Jericho from about 4 years ago?

Unlockables featuring Attitude Era Y2J

Played the demo for about 3 minutes this morning before work. Looks pretty sharp as per usual. Controls felt similar to last years, but like I said, I haven't exactly played a lot of it yet to notice a hell of a lot of changes....pretty much just beat the shit out of Matt Hardy for 2 minutes, pedigree and pin.

How is the note mapping compared to GH3? A few of my friends used to complain about GH3 mapping keys where there were no notes just to try and make it more difficult.

yeah, that would be my next guess....different stores for different regions

really? I can't seem to find the demo in the PlayStation store anywhere

I really didn't see a problem with the old school, win-loss-tie, nothing for an OT loss system. Sure it was a pain in the ass getting 0 points for lasting 64:55 of a game tied, only to give up a softie. I don't see the point of handing out consolation points during the season, when in the playoffs its win or die.

WWE To Now Exclusively Call Their Talent "Entertainers"
AntiLeaf33 replied to Enigma's topic in The WWE Folder
You're wrong on that though AntiLeaf. What Vince is trying to do is just find loopholes to avoid stupid rules from state athletic commissions and to also get away from certain taxes. It's actually quite smart of Vince to try and do this. By doing this, they can really escape a lot of fines a state athletic commission could give Vince and the WWE say if someone bled or if there was a cage match that the commission wouldn't have allowed to have happen. So when you really look it, it's probably one of the smartest things Vince has really done in a long time. Besides that, I honestly don't think the term "Entertainer" will hold up to long. It might be used for say a year or two, but once WWE is able to establish themselves as a entertainment company, they'll be able to refer to wrestlers how ever they want to. Yeah, that was kind of a bland statement. I can completely understand why he is trying to do all of these things. Honestly, wrestling isn't a sport as much as it is an exhibition. All performers know how the event is supposed to go, and how it will end. There are some injuries, and things that happen that aren't planned, but what live form of entertainment doesn't have unexpected slip ups? -
YAY! PEDIGREE TIME, BABY! Badass. I miss the old style Pedigree of keeping the guy's arms hooked throughout the move. Yeah, but as badass as it looks, I can only imagine the number of broken noses it can cause my staying hooked the entire time.

Wow, that Edge DVD looks fantastic. Looks like that may be my next WWE DVD in quite some time.

I love how the WWE is a wrestling company, that is embarrassed to be a wrestling company. -
Kind of surprised it took this long, but I had my first asshole leave 10 seconds before the end of a game where I was winning 3-0. The way the guy was playing towards the end of the game gave me the impression that he was not going to take a loss. Once he took off before the end of the game, I sent him a message asking if he was afraid to lose. To no shock, I haven't received a response. Still, have many of you guys run into players like that? Also, do you know if your stats for a "partial game" get recorded? I know will effect his "games left" (or whatever its called) percentage.

MVPMODS.com has been great with yearly mods of MVP 05 The graphics of those mods are great, but the stats for the players are just fucked up. I was playing with the 2008 season opening rosters and before I broke down and edited Delgado, he was hitting ~.400 with 35 homers in mid-June. Hot zones all high and all in + pitchers dumb enough to throw stuff there = shitton of dingers off the scoreboard in Shea. Yeah, I play a pretty modest difficulty, but I don't think I had a guy on my roster batting under .300 (most top guys over .400) and I usually end up with 1 or 2 pictures with an ERA over 2.00....all this while I regularly give up 10+ hits per game.

I've been meaning to pick it up, but I have NHL 09, Motorstorm and Resistance to hold me off for the next little while, so I'm in no rush to get it yet.....I will be getting it down the road when there is less on my gaming plate.

Big K for the Rays. On a side note, is anybody watching the game on MLB.com? It's neat having the 4 cameras at once, but its a little annoying since there is a bit of a delay from one camera to another.

Examples of Announcers Ignoring PPV Matches In Progress
AntiLeaf33 replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in General Wrestling
I remember a few times during Nitro where the announcers would be doing nothing but hype what was happening in the main even segment. IE: What is Sting going do???? This may be the greatest night in the history of this industry!! -
I can't say I'm really excited about 5 since it feels like they are milking the franchise a little too hard. After 3 I was really done with the franchise, but I go and see them with my girlfriend just so I can see the expression on her face during the traps.

Speaking of Max Payne, what the hell is with all the angles I'm seeing in the trailers? I really only played through Max Payne 2, but I don't recall there being any of that shit in the games.

I played the demo. The fact that you can only terraform where there is dirt reminds me of Red Faction (the first one, anyway), where you "GEO-MOD the Environment! ...where we tell you you can!" Beyond that, the shooter part seemed uninspired. I downloaded the demo and I was bored to tears before it was over. I really have no interest in buying or even renting the game. And I did get a bit of a Red Faction vibe from the game....but less interesting and revolutionary.

Yes, she was playing with Washington. What the hell is what that character in the game?

Wow, I just got my PS3 back from Sony. Issue has been resolved. According to the work order they replaced the Blu Ray Drive. Verified that everything is in fine, working order now. Gotta say that was a lot quicker then I thought. Kudos to Sony for prompt service.

When my PS2 had problems, I was taken care of by Sony well. I'd still worry, but I'd be optimistic. It's nothing that is keeping me up at night or anything, but there is a lingering doubt in the back of my mind.

Ok, so I received my pre-paid box from Sony today. PS3 is packed up and ready to go. Only 1 thing has me a little worried about the process: I bought the PS3 from Dell during the days of deals special. Thing is is that on the invoice it doesn't list the serial number for the PS3. Sony says that they want a proof of purchase with the serial number. I called Sony's customer service (twice actually) and 1 rep said the invoice should be fine, and the other wasn't as optimistic. I called Dell and the invoice is really the only piece of info they can give me...no serial number. Hopefully it won't be an issue.

Really no point in trying to hard to turn people over. Raw is on every single Monday of the year....playoffs and MNF aren't. People want to watch what they can't see every week.
