The smart money is on sinking.

Just watch the E:60 piece on Vince, and I enjoyed it. Wish it could have been a little longer, but it would have been nice to see a little more of the meetings. I did find it interesting how when they mentioned the title matches at Mania, and then Vince adds that not all of the people involved in the matches know yet. Definitely worth checking out.

Am I the only one who does not give a shit about Dolph Ziggler? I've seen him wrestle a few times and I really don't see anything special about him. I remember he had a match with Charlie Claas around Christmas last year that I thought was just brutal. He seemed to be too aggressive to the point where it looked his Haas couldn't protect himself correctly so all of the offense just looked awkward and painfull (and not in the "he sold that well" kind of way. More of a Hardcore Holly setting a snobby kid straight kind of way)
-
Meh, guy really can't wrestle, but people like to see him live just for the spectacle. The guy is a hero in India, so I can see WWE not wanting to paint him with the heel brush any more. It's a short, harmless segment and it will get some cheap laughs with Santina visiting.

Well, at least ECW has another face (as small as it may be)

What brand was Natalya supposed to be on before the draft? She has been on ECW for a while now.

So the unified tag champs stay together...only for Legacy to beat them and take their belts.

WWE.com has the photo galleries of the new DLC pack on their site now. Can't say this really makes me regret trading the game in a few months ago.
-
Also, Taker does a lot of stunts involving special effects which lends itself better to a taped environment rather than a live one.
-
Yeah, I thought imagined that. Good to know that I'm not going crazy. All the same, I'm a little surprised that he doesn't have the same briefcase that he had last year with his name on it.
-
No, not really. It's about having the option to play as, or again him via DLC.

So I'm on the fence over which path I will take to get RockBand so I'll throw my 2 ideas out for you guys: 1) I can buy Guitar Hero World Tour's Guitar only bundle at WalMart for $79.99, trade in GHWT for RB2 and take it from there. 2) I can buy RockBand 1 for $99.99 pretty much anywhere and later, trade RB 1 for RB2 The only reason why I am even debating on what I want to do is because of the drums. I live in an apartment building and I have an old bitch who lives below me who lives to complain every time there is a bit of noise (which I can see the kick drum causing some issues). Since I really only want the guitar and maybe the mic, buying the RB2 bundle has never really been much of an option.

Bottom line is that THQ said that the purpose of the DLC will so that we can keep our SmackDown! Vs. Raw rosters as close to the real rosters as possible, and so far, they have failed. Big players like R-Truth, Christian, Unified Tag Team Champion Primo, etc, are all missing from the game and have not been added as of yet via DLC.

Why do these pop up websites seem to pop-up?
AntiLeaf33 replied to CBright7831's topic in Technology
Try Ad Aware, Spybot Search and Destroy as a good starting point with this issue. Either way, it looks like you have a nasty infection of some sort. I've had some infections that required me to shut off my internet connection and then remove the infection (keeps the infection from reaching out to the web to update itself). -
I wonder who is doing color with JR?

I usually use atdhe.net for streams of Wrestling, UFC, out of town hockey games, or of anything when I'm at work.

Yeah, I had about 8-10 people over to my place watching it, and pretty much everyone caught that. -
The 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania Thread

Can't say I'm shocked to hear that. I worked for Comcast cable for a few years and it was the biggest hack job of a cable company I've ever seen. If you are having issues with a feed of anything there is NOTHING they can do for you. Maybe offer a small credit, but nothing that is going to fix the feed. -
OMG!!!! Me too!!!!!!!!!

Chris Jericho, I just don't know what to make of him
AntiLeaf33 replied to zhangmeijie's topic in The WWE Folder
I was going to disagree with you 100%, before thinking that nobody actually sits there and enjoys legendary wrestlers being belittled, embarrassed and beaten down. Randy Orton as The Legend Killer was one thing.. but Jericho's actions are simply reprehensible. I could barely watch the beat down on Flair because it was just so.. heel like. Crowd would have eaten it up 25 years ago.. Today? I'm sure the crowd just sat there not knowing how to react. I'm sure once Jericho gets his come-uppance at Mania, the crowd will go back to simply hating him for the right reasons. -- One man's opinion. But isn't that the mark of a great heel? Someone who goes above and beyond to make sure that you hate his guts? Over the last few years its been too common for the heels to get cheered because some people think its "cool" or what not. I'm a Jericho fan and I hope he gets booed out of the damn building for this angle. If he doesn't get all of the boo birds, then he is not doing is job correctly. Remember a few years back when Triple H made some remarks that Angle did know how to play the heel and that's why he was getting cheered over Cena? Then Triple H had a match with Cena at Mania where Triple H played the heel yet received the vast majority of the cheers...so much so that the announcers has to cover their asses by calling all of the fans "traditional" fans. Bottom line is that a heel should do whatever he can in his power to get boos and hatred from the crowd. Remember JBL goose-stepping in German a few years ago? Drew a lot of criticism but goddamn if that wasn't an awesome heel move. You can't tell me there wasn't a fan in that arena who didn't want to see JBL get his ass kicked after doing that. Now, in terms of the match at Mania with the legends, it probably won't be anything overly special. Most of the legends are just too old to be able to work a legit match (with Steamboat maybe being the most promising opponent in the match). I would compare this match to a match from the 80's where it sure won't be a clinic, but it should be able to play off the crowd enough to not stink the joint up. -
I have been hearing some good things about it. In what regards would say that Windows 7 is better than Vista? Performance? Ease of use?

SmackDown! Spoilers - 4/3/09 Including tonights ECW.
AntiLeaf33 replied to TheFranchise's topic in The WWE Folder
Nice observation. Wonder if that was done by design? -
That would be pretty awesome. JBL retiring as Intercontinental Champion, getting on the microphone and immediately sitting down with JR, in his ring gear. For this to happen, one of 2 things would need to happen. 1) Rey and JBL have a fairly short match so JBL won't be gassed for the rest of the night OR 2) Raw has another match after JBL vs Rey to give JBL a breather before getting on the mic. Either way, I would be all for this if it does go down that way
-
I can see Rey and JBL go on first at Mania. JBL wins and then immediately retires as IC champ (thus making history like he wants to do). Since that match is a RAW match then JR will not be missing a partner on color. JBL then does color with JR for the rest of the night taking back his old job. In other words, they'll probably do what they did at the second One Night Stand PPV.

Seems a bit odd that his contact would expire days before WrestleMania. Too bad if he is gone, Tazz was pretty entertaining on color.
