What's up with Cody always getting his ass handed to him? That's the second time in a few weeks this has happened while Ted gets to cower away with Randy

So after getting killed when traveling around the wasteland I forgot the rule of thumb I had for all PC game....save often. Pain in the ass after getting killed and discovering some new places and not saving my progress.

Considering that the thread was started in June of 2005, I really don't see any way of breaking this up from month to month, or really, from quarter to quarter. This is one of the rare CTDWAT that does exactly what it's supposed to do. Nothing broke. Nothing to fix.

So I bought Fallout 3 the other day. Not very far in it (just starting some side quests in Megaton). Hopefully its just me getting used to the game, but its taking some time getting used to talking to everyone rather than having a clear cut objective. Wasn't too keen on it first, but after a few hours I'm starting to warm up to the game.

Only draw back with going to XP may be some driver issues. If you have a newer laptop, then some of the hardware may only have drivers for Vista and will not work with XP. Might want to check that out and make sure the hardware will work before you switch as well.

I would have created a new thread for it a while back, but since the release data is in the far off distance, I figured it would get buried the closer we get to launch date.

Rule of thumb around here. Don't make one of your first 20 posts or so a new thread unless you know it has legs. Also, before posting here, read some threads. This is not a place where nice kids play....most of us are assholes to people who make bold comments off of the bat that have no legs. As much of a Metallica fan I am, I'm not sure if I will be picking this up or not. First, I'm not a fan of Guitar Hero since GH3, and 2, I have yet to own a Guitar Hero or Rock Band game, so I'm not exactly a pro at these games by any stretch. Since Metallica's songs are pretty difficult enough, I have a feeling that I would spend more time being frustrated as hell rather than enjoying playing some of the songs. Might pick up Rock Band in a few weeks once I get my income tax back, and once I can actually last during some harder songs I may pick up GH Metallica if it goes on cheap.

Wow, that seems like a little much. Anyways, I don't think I'll be having infinite ammo any time soon as I am trying to buy every weapon first, and then upgrade the weapons from there.

How do you get infinite ammo for a gun? I know the option is there after you finish the game. Do you just need to fully upgrade the weapon?

How has the patch effected the controls? My biggest complaint with the demo was that the controls felt sluggish and delayed. Other then that I was fairly impressed with it.

I don't remember where I saw it but apparently there was a half page blurb on him that concluded with him dropping the title to Orton at Summerslam 2004 and stayed in contention for major titles for a few more years. I'm fine with it being a blurb about him. Don't need any pics or anything like that. Just state the facts and move on to the next guy.

Has anyone picked up the WWE Encyclopedia yet? I'm morbidly curious as to how much tip toeing they will do around Benoit, or if they will just state the facts and stats, and move on.
