I actually tried to shuffle through all seven pages of arguing over the best light-heavies. My head hurt. And I only made it half way through page 2. I'd rather he got some exercise with playfighting in his backyard with a bunch of grown men/women, than sit in front of the TV like a lard ass. I think we all agree he definitely shouldn't buy one, and even if he did he shouldn't be performing any high impact moves. Even low impact would be questionable since it is apparent that he doesn't have enough common sense that you shouldn't be dropping several thousand dollars on something you wouldn't use effectively, and the simple fact it is a good thing to save money while you're young. I do mixed MMA and shadowboxing with a group of outdoorsmen type people(mixed genders), and not only is it a lot of good exercise but quite a bit of fun. There is something primal about using your skills to physically tie up your opponent to make them submit to your superior tactics or dumb old luck. Life is short, have fun while you can within reason. Don't see anything 'gay' about it at all, since there is nothing sexual about rolling around on a mat with another man or even another woman that I have no romantic or sexual involvment with. edit: Also you might want to change your avatar and signature, since you cannot hotlink from the servers you are attempting to hotlink from. I find it amusing you cannot/will not afford some webspace but thought "seriously" about investing in a wrestling ring. He'd be better off enrolling at a gym or MMA school if he wants the exercise and practical fight skills with the 3 grand he'd drop on a ring. However I still think spending that money on what will be little more than an oversize playmat is stupid. He could probably just get a bunch of thick wrestling mats the size of a ring for 1/5th of the cost to grapple and practice moves on. Hell, buy four double bed matresses and practice on those, it'd still be cheaper.

best way to escape a triangle is to roll to the side your arm is pointing and try to sit on their back, if possible using the forearm of the trapped arm as the support. They have no leverage on the choke that way. A good jiujitsu guy will hook a leg or move to the side to tighten the choke, making it harder to lift them anyway. Alternatively, if they sit up and break the base of the other person and force them head towards the ground, then it is impossible for them to stand up. Also head control can using a wrestlig grip behind the person's head to really keep them tight can put them to sleep before they have the chance to slam.

They don't really deal with teams too much now, it's more fighter to fighter. Team Quest has Couture, Lindland, Leben and Quarry who have been on UFC TV and PPVs. Other guys include Ryan Schultz, Chael Sonnen and Dan Henderson. All round good GNP, good wrestling, good sub defense, but their strong sub fighters are few in number. Miletich Fighting Systems includes Jeremy Horn, Matt Hughes, Rich Franklin, Robbie Lawler, Tim Sylvia, Jens Pulver, Justin Eilers and Tony Fryklund. A real mixed bag, but most seem to have decent wrestling and striking and again only a few real sub artists in their ranks like Jeremy Horn. American Kickboxing Academy has Josh Thomson, Mike Swick, Paul Buentello, Mike Kyle and Rich Crunkilton. Quality strikers with some flash subs. They are really the three teams with the most fighters in the UFC.

Melina is in tremendous shape and has won multiple beauty pageants. If you don't find her attractive, chances are you are watching wrestling for the sweaty men a bit too much. I think the ridiculously oversized implants are a bit much, but otherwise I'd bang her like a screendoor in a hurricane.
