Chris Benoit Dead - Toxicology results released
cameron chaos replied to Human Fly's topic in The WWE Folder
Yeah, she should be ashamed of herself for raising a child alone while Chris was a millionare. (if the story is true). And they can test for paternity, and probably will. Someone please explain to me why, if this is his child, she shouldn't be able to get some money out of this situation? I'm not discrediting her work as a single parent, merely the credibility of her claim. They could test for paternity... but why not before? She missed out on years of money when he was alive to dispute the legitimacy of her claims. By the same token a father may deny money to a son that disappointed him, Benoit's money need not go to someone he chose not to list in his will. -

Both Chris and Nancy didn't have wills. Benoit had 2 other kids, remember? The Enquirer tends to extensively vet their stories, so yes, we should. Benoit had two wills. One he registered more recently which may be discounted, true, but he had a pre-exisiting will. Yes, Benoit did have two other kids but he paid alimony for them. -

If Benoit chose to not give her anything in his will, that's his decision. It's not like they can have a paternity test now he's dead to prove she is his actual daughter. Sounds like a jilted ex with a bastard daughter trying to cop some money from her ex's fortune. Considering Chris had dual citizenship her claim she wouldn't have got alimony if it were proven she was his daughter is bullshit. Funny she waited until he was buried to try cop a claim. What a fucking joke. They should both be ashamed of themselves for trying to profit from a tragedy. -
he bit Jim Jones for the "Baaaallin'!" of off We Fly High and Nas for "half man, half amazing" from It Ain't Hard To Tell. It's kind of sad in a way Cena wrote his own rap promos but MVP just bites MC's swagger and doesn't try himself. The RKO was nice though.

Because they don't give a shit? They hired 2 guys the WWE fired because they wouldn't go to rehab..... And the rest who they let run out their contracts at home like Raven, Billy Gunn and Road Dogg. As I recall Angle was fucked up to the point of incoherency and was a danger to himself and others as result. He wanted fewer dates but the same money and didn't view his drug problems in as serious of a light as Vince did, so they released him from his contract since he was becoming a liability. I think they even offered him a raise in addition to covering his rehab costs. -

Ironically, according to the Observer this week, Benoit was prescribed Zoloft by Astin on that Friday of the weekend in question. My god, there is just yet another factor into things. I read it was Xanax, but Zoloft, Xanax and Valium are all powerful anti-depressants. -

Edited for clarification. That'll get her a push. I've met ms Glover twice, once at Nuts Barry's Big Weekend and once informally on a friend's night out. Said friend used to date Keeley Hazell and is the dude in her sex tape. Got to meet Nikkala T, Nicola Stott and Natalie Denning too. Good night out. However, unsurprisingly she's pretty but ignorant. Plus you can hear where she tries to cover up her accent, it just makes her sound even stranger. If she does get to the WWE, I imagine she'll be the next bimbo in line for Batista. The sad thing is Nikita aka Katerina Waters is stuck down in OVW and probably will stay there until she agrees to a boob job despite the fact she's a good female wrestler and not too bad on the mic either. -

I talked to a Brazilian talent manager I am good buds with the other night and while it's arguably a distant source, he gave me a good quote. "you find me a proffessional athlete that never takes steroids, I will show you a liar amateur. I only know soccer drug tests most, all else are using likely". The grammar isn't perfect, but you get the idea. Performance enhancers are nothing new and they'll always be part of professional sports as long as athletes want infamy and money and the leagues want popularity and money. The GHB maybe have been extraneous but shit like HGH and steroids aren't anything new. More recreational drugs on the other hand have been showing up in tests lately which he feels just lowers the respect shown towards the type of people he manages who don't dabble. -

How everyone else smuggles drugs these days, secret compartments and up their asses. There's mail order stuff and other things the internet you can get these to piss clean or at least screw up the results so they get disregarded. Mostly milkshakes/smoothies oddly enough. Depending what steroids he was using they may have been easier to mask than something like Winstrol and used one of these products. -

http://www.lockflow.com/article_view.php?id=764 I have used it before as depicted in the bulldog choke variation when someone has been turtled up to flatten them out on their bellies. If Daniel was indeed found lying face down... that shit is fucked. Even if he resisted it's not hard to defend. Especially when you compare a 7 year old partially retarded kid to a muscular 40 year old adult 3 times his weight in a psychotic state. -

Can you give the Cliff notes version? It was slow, painful and likely that Benoit intended it to be that way. He would have been very aware of what was happening. He'd have been pulled up and not dropped down, the chances are he would have died from the blood pressure in his brain causing an embollism/aneurysm than a "clean" death by hanging involving the separation of the spinal cord/vertebrae. I'm guessing they found him with his eyes completely blood shot with bruising from the haemmorages. He'd have likely taken at least 2-3 minutes to pass from complete consciousness, another 5 to have his vital functions shut down and cause bowel release. -

Everyone has insecurities but not everyone has the level of admiration and respect he received from both fans and peers. This guy seems to have systematically arranged his private affairs expecting for something bad to happen to his wife and kid. The crazy thing to think is for maybe months now he's been going out and putting on a face while at work for colleagues, fans and viewers but at the same time planning to cut these people out of his life one way or the other. -

I'm amazed he actually used the crossface to kill his son. The move can be modified to be both a blood choke and tracheal choke but the fact he actually used it... holy shit. This shit was obviously a long time coming if he changed his life insurance claim. I have to wonder if Nancy saw Astin before Benoit dropped by later that day, Astin mentioned she'd been by, he went home and asked what she'd went to see Astin about... you'd think given the respect people showed to him he'd have been more secure and confident but he's beginning to sound like an insecure cokehead. -

The TSM forum isn't a national "professional" news program reporting on the story either. Not saying it is, but to point the finger at one group while not wagging it at others... Stephen Colbert would be appalled. Also, virtually no news program is professional or unbiased. People pay them to do a job, not every newscaster is going to take a lighter to shit like Mika Brzezinski if they disagree, they'll lose their job. -
Tito has two faces. His face to the fans and media and his business side. Tito, while a good self promoter and charismatic face in MMA, is all about the money much like "Rampage", however "Rampage" is not bullshitting about his motivation. Tito feels because he was there during the bad years he deserves top priority now UFC is moving on up. IMO, You get what you deserve and I personally don't feel his performances against Liddell, Couture, Cote and Forrest were exactly stellar or dominating given his tenure and experience at the top. Tito is a bankable name but is fast outliving his usefulness as more talent comes in from PRIDE and through TUF. He's not known as a finisher and I personally don't believe he is worth more than he is receiving, which is not an insignificant amount. He also has made literally a few million through sponsorship and makes high 6 figures per annum through Punishment Athletics (which surprised me at first, but then you have to keep in kind the TUF/Tap Out generation who'll buy virtually anything) on top of the fact he gets PPV points if he headlines... he's going to be more than comfortable for a long while. I personally think if he loses his next few fights he'll go to EXC for a Frank Shamrock rematch next year. Dana's been pissed with him for several years now, his failure to appear for the boxing match between them, his decision to turn down an appearance at UFC 72 and constant demands and accusations without merit have not endeared him to anyone in UFC's managment structure.

The only thing I didn't like is that after she was finished talking about Sherri she went "Another...wrestling...death...", and the guy she was talking to about it just started laughing before it cut away from him. I dunno, just got to me, almost as if the two of them were mocking the entire thing. To be fair, many members on here were cracking jokes and writing punchlines mocking the predicament of all involved, including a mod who surprised me by doing so. You can't stand by the boiling pot but start calling the kettle black. -

cena his title reign's hulkarific booking is one thing, but he's consistently had great matches he had ****1/2 vs. HBK on wrestlemania and RAW and those aren't MOTY candidates and the royal rumble cena-umaga match is plus in june he's made khali look decent and johnny nitro look tough, which is a tough task you might not like his character or his booking, but give the performer his due I think right now only a few guys are completely well rounded Edge, HBK and Finlay. Admittedly Finlay doesn't have Edge's charisma or HBK's long term history and appeal but he's been shown to be able to put over talent, fit comfortably into main events and comic angles with ease, he's actually managed to work with midget and get over as a result and can be relied on to deliver a consistent if not mindblowing performance. -

When I think of a large tattoo, its one that is maybe twice that size but thats just me. To be honest, looking at that tattoo, if I didn't know who that was...I couldn't tell you who it was and I'm willing to bet the vast majority wouldn't either. As someone else mentioned, I think he laughed when someone asked him if that is the reason he wears that body suit because its not the reason. I don't think anyone would wear that outfit out of choice, especially when the photos Downhome provided show he had no worries about airing it out before he got to the WWE. -
Considering he at one point had four possible finishers (the spear, the Edge-O-matic, the Edgecutioner DDT, and the Edge-U-cation inverted standing deathlock) and resorted to the most generic of them all, it is kind of sad. Then again, when did anyone last see the Haas Of Pain calfcrusher submission? It seems like most talents have forgotten their abilities and moveset from previous years.

It's not that small from what I saw in the photo. It's not very detailed, I'll give you that, but it is from just below his collarbone to maybe an inch above his nipple. Considering how large he is IRL, it's got to be at least 5" by 8" from shoulder to collar and the bottom of his fist to X's head. I have to say, the eyes/glasses on the tattoo look to be kind of shoddy so if he converted in prison, maybe he got it there which could explain it's dubious quality. -

Until all the facts are in, evidence has been compiled and the investigation has concluded, it's necessary to use allegedly because the estate of Chris Benoit could sue people if, by some strange circumstances, he is found to be not guilty. If Benoit's brain was liquefied... shit, the only think I can think off that can do that kind of damage is high grade LSD. I don't think anymore commentary will emerge from Japan. Suicide is very taboo but somewhat respected out there depending on the motivation. The fact he killed his family and dishonored himself before his death... I think it'll be quietly acknowledged but largely ignored. -

So....what was wrong with him according to them? According to them, nothing. And they claim to have spent a lot of time with the boy so it's not like their going by a once a year visit or anything. Didn't Jericho say on Nancy Grace he wouldn't be surprised if the grandparents didn't know either since Chris was a very private person and no one amongst Benoit's close friends knew either? If he didn't have it, why did that woman claim she contacted Benoit about the syndrome since her son also has it? If there was no documented medical records stating he had it, the doctor wouldn't have been to check the list of sufferers and then been able to refer the woman to the Benoits.
