Wrong thread.

With David Brent, I actually felt sympathy for the character. I have no such feelings for Michael as I really can't see any company continuing to put up with his nonsense. They would if he continued to make them money, which Michael has consistently done for the duration of the show.

The Agent of Oblivion question of the day
Boon replied to Agent of Oblivion's topic in No Holds Barred
Stand up and walk out on you. probably. -
Aye. One of the Ajira passengers (edit: checked, it was Alana) pointed out in "The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham" that she saw the pilot take off in a boat with some woman. Later in that episode is when Locke finds Ben.
-
I suppose. I guess you could also argue that Sun worked with Widmore, who was apparently no longer welcome, hence she couldn't go back. Damn, dirty, grudge-holding island.
-
An argument could be made for all of Ben/Frank/Locke not having to come back, but why wouldn't Sun? There's got to be more to her story.

I did enjoy Sawyer putting Jack in his place. It's too bad "the incident" is probably going to happen under Sawyer's watch, thus undoing all his greatness. Really curious what happened to Faraday.

Any truth to the rumor that the alcohol content in Guinness brewed for Ireland is different (greater) than Guinness shipped abroad?

That really excites me. The season finales are always special, and that's (hopefully) going to be a great reveal.

I'll agree with Cheech. The vast majority of people don't follow college ball regularly, but fill out a bracket for the novelty of it all. The tourney is interesting, and personally it's actually a love/hate thing. Nothing more frustrating than spending a lot of time carefully filling out a bracket only to have it go down in flames while some clown collects because he picked which mascot he liked better.

Spending $1.50 each to sit on my hands for an hour.

I'm surprised it took Papelbon this long to shoot his mouth off. My favorite part of that article is this: I wish he'd listen to Varitek some more.

The KGB waits for no one!!!

Speaking of loose ends, did we ever get confirmation about what happened to Wayne Palmer?

Just gotta hope Sylar coming back into the fold will make things more interesting.

The report comes out at 2 p.m. EST. "Hold on to your butts." I'm more excited for the list of excuses. Injuries, doctor prescriptions, ignorance, etc. Could be a fun day.

Add The Day The Earth Stood Still to the bad.

That would be some shit.

Yes!!! Thank you for ensuring me that I'm not fucking crazy.

Next week's preview. I'd agree with the first one, as the other Dharma stuff from the camp didn't come along for the first flashes. It looks like Jack/Hurley/Kate are with the other losties. I'd venture a guess that Sun guilted Lapidus into stealing a boat to look for Jin, making them also with Locke/Ben. Edit: next week's preview No clue about where/when Sayid is.

You said Widmore had initiated the purge. If that is revealed, then we'll give you a cookie.

Two players who couldn't crack the rotations on below .500 teams. Forgive me if I feel a little underwhelmed by these moves. The Celtics need depth, but doesn't it seem like they are looking in the wrong places? As a Kings fan, let me explain: Mikki Moore is a bad player. This is not PJ Brown redux. Brown was a terrific player in his prime who was reaching his final days. He had a lot to offer in limited minutes in terms of rebounding and defense. Moore is a hustler and will grab a few boards, but he doesn't really do much more than Powe or Davis. Marbury could be rewarding, but House has done okay as the backup PG and Rondo's developed enough that he can play the majority of crunch playoff minutes. You just don't know what you are getting with Starbury, both in terms of attitude and play, given that he's sat out an entire season. Considering what was available, I think Ainge did the best with what he could here, addressing some needs with low-risk options. No sense in waiting out Joe Smith, who may not even be bought out. Moore is an upgrade over O'Bryant and Scal, while Powe and Davis cannot be relied on to perform consistently. By most accounts, he's a team defensive player who can spread the floor with his jumpshot and brings energy the bench doesn't have. With Tony Allen gone for the season, House can now move to the wing, play the 2 and not worry about ball-handling, something he has not done even close to okay with thus far. You don't know exactly what you're getting with Marbury, but he's not coming in to run the team. He can get into shape to play 10-15 minutes, likely faster than Sam Cassell could have.

Miki Moore to the Celtics, and it looks like Marbury isn't far behind as he got his buyout today.

God damnit. I was feeling that entire episode, and it was all completely undone by the shitty reveal at the end.

Their pairing at the beginning of Volume 3 was a thing of beauty. Too bad it was so short-lived.
