VA Tech's website is saying two shootings and confirmed 22 dead.

Actually, he did start to swing. Didn't break his wrist, though. Bad news in the Bronx. Mussina and Pavano both placed on the 15-day DL.

Looking forward to it. I was getting pretty tired of the "Frat Pack" movies- maybe these guys will step in and take over.

Spoilers/previews for the next three episodes: And a spoiler from JCM:

Black people can blush? Wrong.
-
That's not very clever, though.

I was pretty pissed that they jacked that joke from South Park.
-
Just for kicks here, then.

I almost died when I realized what was happening with the Ryan/Kelly/Netflix scene.

If it gets shut down, oh well-Duke LAX team not a match

Just for kicks. -
Kind of a weird episode. Carla telling Elliot she's ruined every relationship since JD- didn't she only date Jake before Keith? I don't know. I wasn't really feeling that great about it. Turk's hair bothered me. Kelso was the highlight.

I assume you mean getting a ring by starting a full season, but he does in fact have one. I'd like to see him as a coach. I'd vote him in, but I'm biased b/c he was my favorite player as a kid.

Garciaparra, Maddux, Giambi, DiMaggio. "The Phillies are like that guy who dates the cheerleader's ugly sister just b/c they have the same last name."
-
Wait- what? Was this a part of the WEEI joke?

A bit off-topic, but I've always found it weird when people give their pets actual people names. For example, my neighbor has a poodle named Bob. I don't know why, but it irks me.

Wow. Buffalo actually gets a Monday night game, in Buffalo no less. Surprising. Not just because it's Buffalo, but all Bills personnel specifically wanted no night games. Don't bold Green Bay games. Delete them. What- you don't want to see Favre turn water into wine.... and then throw 3 picks?

Hernandez is just filthy. No-hitting the Red Sox through 7 innings.

I missed the part where I revealed that I'm a racist. It must have been somewhere between calling Imus a fucking idiot and saying the Rutger's team were potential role models. Damn, you caught me anyway!
-
He's better off not knowing who she is.

Imus made the comments on the 4th. The apology and the statement from the presidents of NCAA and Rutgers released on the 6th would have been the end of it. A week after the comments were made the team comes out and they're scarred for life. I just don't buy it. I missed the story being blown wide open, so I'll take your word for it. But to me, that just means the team saw how huge the story was getting and wanted to get in on the ground floor. Edit: I shouldn't say the team. I should say their coach.

People are suggesting that he should contribute some money to Rutgers basketball, not to mention the recruitment that's going on. But really, that's not the point. You're making my point. I didn't see the stir that you're talking about. In fact, I think this story was actually starting to die down until they called a press conference. Now you can't turn on a television or listen to a radio station without hearing about this story. Ignore him like the dolt that he is and it all goes away. If they were really so devastated by the comments, they would've come out with this days ago. That was the action that blew this wide open.

Read: We realized how much money we can get out of this old bastard. But here's what bugs me the most: Saying they were thrust into this by no fault of their own isn't entirely accurate. They could have easily either A) Not shown up for the press conference, or B) Stood up to Imus at the press conference and said "You can't take this moment away from us with your idiotic comments because we're stronger than that." Instead, they were "scarred for life."
