Scott Kazmir fears Mike Lowell.

I mark whenever I find the 6-player X-Men game. That is all.

That's not even good photoshop.
-
Not a very solid episode at all.

Fantastic ending.

Mickie/Trish really has been the best angle of the year.

Judas was a TK'er you know.

...were announced today. http://www.pulitzer.org/ If you get the chance, I strongly recommend that you take a look at the story and photography that won for each Feature category in journalism. Really, really well done. It's a story about a Marine Officer who is responsible for telling the families of soldiers that their loved ones have died. Really powerful stuff. Here's the link to the Feature winner: http://denver.rockymountainnews.com/news/finalSalute/

Schilling- 8 IP, 1 run, 3 hits, 7 K, 0 BB. Nasty.
-
That stat isn't really meaningful at all, I just found it interesting. Sox sign Coco Crisp for a 3 year deal with an option. After 2008, Ortiz and Crisp are the only players on the books.

From Buster Olney.

I just really enjoyed the image of House with cards and a cigar.

Beckett gives up 1 run over 7 innings, Lowell gets 4 hits, Papelbon gets the save. Beautiful.

ESPN.com is saying it's more like 10+ Days That's not an experience, it's a nightmare. Dude saw 7 pitches, swung and missed at 6 of them. And Ortiz just inked a 4-year extension through 2010.

The only difference aside from the obvious one you addressed is that Edge wasn't groomed to be a ME talent from the get go. Orton and Cena were, and by God they're gonna get there and stay there, even if it's bad for the company. If Vince did business the way Vince used to do business those two would be curtain jerking, wouldn't be nearly so hated, and wouldn't be in over their heads as they are now. When the business model changed to "we'll push who we want and the fans WILL accept it", instead of the other way around that's when the WWE began its downward spiral. Since Steph and HHH seem to follow that same logic, I don't see things changing unless something tragic takes out all of the WWE braintrust at once. It's sad that's the answers are there but they just choose to plug their fingers in their ears and go "NA NA NA NA NA NA we can't HEAR YOU!". Exactly. Edge spent the vast majority of his career as a member of arguably the greatest tag team in the company before being tried as a main eventer. You can argue that somehow JBL pulled it off, but I think there were a lot of other circumstances there. And Edge is not young. He is not new talent, groomed from the beginning as the future of the company. Edit: No, he's not. HHH may view Edge as a threat, but that's because he's a different face in the main event picture. Edge is NOT better than HHH in every department- he's just different.

I'm a Trish mark, but ignoring Victoria's talent is just silly. As far as Rey goes- my problem is the way he's been booked. He looked like an idiot, then like a pussy, then like a charity case. And I agree that the 619/Springboard is the lamest excuse for a finisher ever.

DING DING DING. It's the same thing w/ Cena- Vince wants his own, homegrown boys, who have only been with the E/F to succeed on a long term level.

HHH was teasing a face turn b/c he wants to be the heel that everyone likes, not the heel that he should be. HHH only got involved with the match when Edge accidentally speared him, then he got all mad and started beating the piss out of Edge. Then he made Cena look like an asshole, and Edge was left in the middle of the ring, bewildered and beaten. This is in addition to all of the psychology of HHH patronizing Edge throughout the match, making him do all the work. HHH outsmarted his opponents? Please. He made Cena look like an asshole- there's no outsmarting involved there, he just took advantage of Cena's idiocy. He got the "cerebral assassin" nickname when he started scheming and planning, not when he took advantage of a guy acting like an asshole. Let's be clear about something- I'm not a HHH hater. I think he's good at what he does when he wants to be, and I gotta respect him for putting himself into such a high position of power. I just wish that people would be more willing to try and protect the company rather than their own ego.

I concur.

THEY ARE STILL IN CHICAGO I am aware. Once they get through the first Raw after a PPV, storylines start to develop and evolve. If they could've gotten through tonight, he might've been salvaged. And please don't type in all caps. You really come off as a dick.
-
How exactly did he bury them ? ...Were you not watching the show? Cena now looks like an ignorant dumbass, and Edge is now HHH's little bitch. HHH finished off Cena with one move, while Edge was getting his ass kicked.
-
I really thought that once they got out of Chicago, there might have been a chance to save Cena.
-
24 hours ago, the IWC was praising HHH for doing the job on Cena. Tonight, he's buried both the champ and the best heel the company has.
-
No- that music was awesome.

They scrapped 3MW for THIS?!
