Can some one explain why Kawada in NOAH is a big deal? Is he still with AJPW?

Yeah, thats a gem to hear in a SmartMarks forum. Some people need to realize that wrestling rides the line between fake and real. It needs to have believablility to it to keep it entertaining and not lame. Other wise Kane should just float to the ring every night and set his opponents on fire constantly. Or Austin should've brought a rifle to ringside for every match. Or Hogan's finisher should've always been the Finger Poke Of Doom. That dude who said wrestling is fake was probably just compensating because he's a fanboy for Cena. He bought the chain lock and pees himself everytime Cena wins a match and can't handle that the FU IS WEAK.... period.

The guy who compared the FU to powerbombs and missile dropkicks doesn't understand physics. The kayfabed the FU should be less effective than a gorilla press, he just lets you drop on your own he doesn't really drive it. A powerbomb while you still just fall on your back, you may have some one like Sid or Vader putting all their strength and weight into THROWING YOU DOWN. The FU doesn't do that. And any strikes or the missile dropkick you mentioned... ever watch a boxing match? A sudden unprotected strike could at anytime lay someone out. Are you saying that falling on your back from Cena's height would be more effective than someone like Booker T who used to come flying off the top rope and put all his leg strength into booting you??? Bottom line is, Cena is stuck with the crappy finisher now because its become part of his character, he can't really change it. But he should because while most people may buy it as a serious finisher, I find that it suspends belief a little too much and isn't very believable.

Benjamin should retain. Jericho would do nothing for the title, the seven times he held it meant nothing. Shelton actually is building himself and the title's reputation. Plus, I think at this point in Jericho's career he is less likely to pull of a great match than Shelton is. The only reason Shelton should drop the IC title is if he is ready to jump up to the Main Event scene.

Is this match going to be a Bart Gunn vs. Butterbean type of situation? If it is a shoot, who do you think is going to win? Akebono has actual master level training in a fighting style. Big Show also doesn't have much of a size advantage other than height. Although I've seen Akebono get his ass kicked by Bob Sapp so I figure the the Big Show has a larger reach and maybe an equally devistating punch. What do you guys think?

I don't understand how EZ Money never made it big. He was gathering a pretty big following for those like 2 months he was Jason Jett in WCW. If Nova can make it to the WWE why couldn't EZ Money? He has the spots and the ability to be a star, also his size/look isn't anything that couldn't be worked with. I always thought his Suplex to a Powerbomb thing could've been a really over finisher too. Anybody have any incite why he just couldn't make it?

I was thinking about crowd atmospheres and how much it adds to a match. Crowd heat is what most wrestlers will tell you excites them the most about being a professional wrestler, it is what drives them to put their bodies on the line. Then I thought about what match, had the most intense heat of all time. I immediately thought about The Rock vs Hollywood Hogan at WrestleMania X8. I was there live and that must be why I instantly thought about it. It was an unreal atmosphere. Eventhough it was an entire stadium full of people, it felt like when you watch a PPV with all your closest friends and you have a rivalry of favorites and are jumping up and down with excitement over which favorite is going to win. The climax of the entire match to me was after Hogan hit the atomic leg drop and only got two. I knew after that Rock was going over. My question to you is, what match is the most heated of all time? I also put forward the thought that Canadian Crowds are the hottest crowds on average in North America.

I would love to see Bruce Campbell reprise the role of Ash for the Evil Dead 4. I hope this does happen.

My god. Thank you so very much! I've only seen half this match and it was incredible. If its anything as good as when Hart faced Lyger this should be awesome! I am eternally grateful.
