Last night's episode was UGH. The bad streak of 2 begins, after the start of the season was so good.

the game isn't on tv here in Sacramento, so I am following via cbssportslines pitch by pitch thing.

Yeah Zito is not looking like he used to, however that is the problem with pitchers that don't throw the gas at all, they HAVE to be RIGHT ON as far as accuracy goes, or they will just walk a ton of batters and eventually give in to hitters. Zito is probably the most one dimensional pitcher out of the big three, yet his one dimension which is the curveball is spectacular when it is on. Harden could very well be bullpen material in the next year or to if the prospects in the A's system pan out. One thing to really rally behind is the fact that the A's are just loaded with pitching in the majors and minors.

I am not worried about this, the technology is too split up to be dominant yet. I'd say though in no more then 5 years, they will have discs approx the size of mini-discs that can store 10x the data that current dvds do, then we will have to be worried.

lets not forget, when the Yankees aquired Giambi, he was probably in the Top 3 in the league overall, if not that, then definately Top 5.....and it took his ass 2 full years to start putting up numbers like he did in Oakland. I wouldn't expect A-rod to take that long to adjust, but hey, ya never know.

Ok, I have never seen the original Godzilla, bits and pieces of course, but never sat down, watched it, and analyzed it. So, can someone explain to me what exactly was cut out of it, in order for it to be shown over here? There has been talk that Godzilla was really a big commentary on the bad fallout of nuclear war/weapons, and it sort of had an anti-american sentiment, so when it was released over here, it was cut and edited just to make it a big monster movie. Is there any truth to that? Some say it was just the violence that was cut........anyone have any insight for me?

The only thing the Coach/Tajiri match did was make burying Tajiri down to Raw's undercard easier. Not like he was going to be anywhere else anyway, unfortunately, but seriously, if WWE had any intention on making Taijiri look good, he would have walked down to the ring, Kicked coach across the kisser one time, knocked him out, and pinned him.

I know. Remember the Raw after Wrestlemania? Instead of Benoit coming out at the start of the show to cut a promo on how he finally achieved success in his 18-year career by winning the World Heavyweight title, HHH came out, looked pissed at the crowd chanting "You tapped out!", and said how it was a fluke that Benoit beat him for the World Heavyweight title and that he would get it back soon (which he didn't last night). but the thing is isn't HHH always the focus of Raw with or without the title? is it being a champion that makes you be on 5 segments in a row or is just being a camera hog? that is exactly the point. Triple H is usually the main, main event focus of each and every raw/ppv show. No matter what he is doing or NOT doing, the focus is somehow on him. The champion should automatically step into the spot while they are champion, but that just isn't the way it works in WWE.

Well Teddy Atlas just dropped the bomb that Wladimir K. is a diabetic and supposedly it is possible that he has been covering it up in order to fight. Diabetics while being able to fully function under medication, should probably not be boxing, because exerting that much energy in such a shot time, could render their meds useless, unless they were getting some insulin between rounds(LOL, yeah right). This could more then explain why Wlad went from spring chicken to old trout, in a matter of minutes, and no, I don't think it was Brewster's punches because Wlad looked a lot more tired then he did hurt. I'm calling right now, if Harden doesn't straighten up, and fast, he is gonna be trade bait. There are two scorching hot prospects in the A's minor league system that are all but ready to come up. Harden gets Ks but so far, hasn't shown he can consistently get the job done. I am not ready to give up on him yet, but when your pitching staff is as stocked as Oakland's it becomes survival of the fittest.

the jury is still out on this one. IMO, under normal circumstances, yes he would have the main event rub, but the problem with this was how it all came to be in the beginning. First Benoit was just kind of thrust into it, secondly, he always took a backseat to the HHH/HBK feud. Thirdly, he always seemed to be the BUTT of the joke, or the guy laid out. Finally, it depends on where they go from here. I mean Benoit is going to drop the title eventually, and when he does, then what, will he be de-pushed down to midcard level ALA Chris Jericho, or will he cemented in that main event core, where he will always be in or around the hunt for the world title. Like I said, it is too early to tell.

So if an audio clip is in Flash format, how would I copy it to say......Powerpoint? I know with a picture file you can just click print screen and open it in paint, but what about an audio file or video file? Is it possible?

don't always judge people's real reactions according to how they act in a large group. usually, If someone in the theater makes a funny comment the crowd will go with it, whether they agree or not. I mean they might boo Seed of Chucky, but then half of them probably also paid to see 2Fast 2Furious.

Jermaine Dye has hit safely in all games, and Rookie Bobby Crosby so far is living up to the hype as a fielder and coming around with the bat. 8-4.

You always hear that in the playoffs the officials are gonna let teams play and they won't call touch fouls, so you see it during the Rockets/Lakers game, yet watching the Kings/Mavs, it seemed like every single itty bitty thing was called.

if Flair was worth watching in the ring anymore, then maybe I could see it. Unless Flair is like the mouthpiece of the angle or something.

This is just awful. Awful for him anyway. If he goes into the muck with any real top fighter, he dies. Ruiz is possibly the worst heavyweight I've ever seen. Jorge-Luiz-Gonzales......nuff said.

I have another question. Regarding the restricted area under the basket. How long has that rule been in effect or has it always been like that? I don't understand how on one hand, if the defender has position and is run over it is charging, yet if he is in a certain spot, it is a blocking foul. I mean either it is charging or it is not, why should it matter where the guy is standing? Was there a particular good reason for this rule/rule change, or was it another attempt buy a major american sport, to make the game more offense-friendly?

I was wondering yesterday why didn't Francis try for a layup under the basket which would have drawn contact, instead of dishing it out to Jackson for the 3. Yeah it was a good look and those good looks usually should be expected to go in, but I figured Francis was going to try and make something happen under the basket.
