  1. Bride of Chucky was campy-goodness because it didn't take itself seriously really. Hopefully Seed will produce the same formula.
  2. I wonder what would have happened had he actually made it to the crucifixtion scene, would he start cheering and snarling at the screen?

The Rock's Return Has RAW Tickets Going Fast

Bingo. The Braves are a fine team, they just don't draw anybody. It's especially sad to see all those fans in the upper deck dressed up like empty seats DURING THE PLAYOFFS. Hell, the A's have shitty attendance too. it is embarrasing. Of course their stadium is in the middle of Oakland's ghetto.

The Rock's Return Has RAW Tickets Going Fast

The Rock will serve his 2-3 weeks of drawing power that he has shown the past three times he left for an extended amount of time and then came back. I am sure right after WM, everyone will go back to not caring about the Rock, like the past few times he returned. Everytime Rock comes back, there is less of a crowd to recoup.

So who DOESN'T care about Foley/Orton

nothing really exciting or anticipating about seeing Foley wrestle. Forget that he is out of shape, in no condition to be in the ring, but he is retired already supposedly. I know I am beating a dead horse, but why should anyone care what Orton does to Foley when Triple H already did it a few years ago.

    Clinton Portis to become...

true, but your highly paid tackles emitted sparks of suck all year. The're young, so it's still possible they could get thier shit together. as for Portis, he's the best back Denver has had next to pre-injury Davis. Griffin could step in and be productive, but he won't be as good as Portis, who will do just fine despite leaving Denver. Yes they did last year, but remember Samuels is a probowler and Jansen is probably just as good. Spurrier had some TERRIBLE blocking schemes that constantly saw 5 O-lineman trying to block 8 rushers, now that would make ANY OFFENSIVE LINE look horrible.

    Malcolm X......

So I just got done watching the movie for the first time in a loooooong time, and I think the movie kind of keeps it open for speculation, and since I haven't read up on any bigoraphys of him or anything, I was just wondering if anyone here knew what the common theory was. I couldn't decide to put this in current events or movies.....but maybe I chose wrong since it isn't a CURRENT event, but it is black history month, so I guess this is somewhat current......umm ah...ye.....

Ermm, a product of the Denver system eh? Well obviously you don't know much about the Gibbs/Bugel system, remember the Hoggs? One of the best offensive line blocking schemes/system of all time? And you need to watch some more Portis highlights, his speed combined his ability to break tackles was just as much a part of his success as the "denver system" And did you even examine the Brunell contract before making your claim about his contract? The thing is backloaded all too hell, he aint gonna be a Redskins for 7 years. He will be here 2-3 years and either retire or be cut. They still don't have the money for a good line. Brunell isn't worth any money from the Skins when they have Ramsey who was really shining until getting hit every other play finally caught up with him. Their O-line is fine except the Center position. Samuels & Jansen on the ends, Randy Thomas and Dockery lined up next to them, and Moore/Friedman at Center. Their O-line was actually quite great with Stephen Davis and a run-oriented offense. Spurrier came in and decided to emit sparks of stupidity which would easily explain the lack of production. If you meant D-line, well yeah that is a weak point, signing Jevon Kearse should improve somewhat. Hopefully the Skins can sign a stud in the draft.

City of San Francisco sues State of California

You're getting into a WHOLE nother area there. If you are arguing people are born gay, let me ask you something, are people born bisexual as well? If so, then you would be denying their born attraction to a man and a woman if they wanted a 3 way marriage... nah, bi-sexual usually just means sexually attracted to both genders, but that is different from wanting to marry and settle down and have a family with either gender. At least in my experiences of knowing people, bi-sexual in general is more of a sexual label. However as far as people being born, gay, yes of course. No one can really choose who they are attracted too, you just ARE.

    The Passion of the Christ

Let me put it this way. Roger Ebert was right when he said that this movie WOULD have got an NC-17 rating for violence if anyone but Jesus had been the victim. Yeah, I found it a little disturbing that people are bringing their children to see this film. well see if the violence and gore's source is from the magical book, then it is quite ok. I am not interested on Mel Gibson's interpretation of the bible.

Marriage is between a man and woman. You're changing it to 2 people to accomodate a group. What would stop a group of threesomes from comaplaining that THEIR equal rights are being violated in a similar way. Then you'd need to change the law again because of the PRECEDENT you've set with gay marriage, and around and around we go where we stop nobody knows... like I said, the slippery slope argument.

City of San Francisco sues State of California

I am not sure how making gay marriage legal, opens the door for poligomy or incestual marriage, to me they are three completely different issues. If marriage was defined as a union between two consenting adults, is it that hard to imagine that it wouldn't be budged from there? I mean yes of course some mormons would try and take it to court, but they most certainly be shot down, and if the courts are as liberal as some of you claim, then they would shoot down poligomy based on it's religious roots alone. It just sounds like another lame "slipper slope" argument, and it is assuming that nobody has the common sense to rationalize the difference between a loving homosexual partner, and a bastard trying to manipulate women and/or a father commiting a crime against his daughter.

    Are coaches overrated?

not to mention his times with the Browns....

    Are coaches overrated?

as a WHOLE, yes coaches are overrated, but the REALLY GREAT ONES are underrated. Football for example. Bill Walsh INVENTED an offense that was a success and is still used today by many teams, as did Joe Gibbs with the singleback-play action heavy offense. These guys are on a level of their own, seperated from other great coaches like Bill Parcells, who yes, is a good coach and can motivate, but he hasn't broken any new ground with his coaching style or playbook....etc....

    The Passion of the Christ

Ian McKellan said the amount of damage "jesus" went through in the movie, would have killed him before he was even on the cross, which to him made the movie seem hard to buy and/or believe, and felt the excessive whippings were just done for shock factor.

Not the prequel trilogy. *shakes head in a nono fashion* well yeah, excluding Episodes 1, 2(and most likely 3) but those are cash cow films anyway and don't have any bearing on the greatness of 4,5 and 6....
