Well it looked like Carmela was berating someone, telling him "I want to know what happened" so maybe it is someone Tony confided in for something.

I must say though, whether you disagree or agree with gay marriage. AT LEAST someone had the balls to come out and finally say they were for it, and tried to do something about it. None of this middle of the road, "don't want to upset either side" civil union compromise crap. Just flat out said he believed that it should be legal based on the constitution and did what he had to do to make it legal(for now at least). This just makes it that much harder to respect democrats on this issue because if they truly are what they say they are, they should be coming out in outright support for this. Republicans, well of course I don't expect them too, they think gays are deviant, and an abomination etc.......(generalization of course), however just the fact that the Democrats are so wishy-washy on this issue, should be the real case for concern.

I think the anti-french sentiment was all but dead for the time being, until this post.....

Well Bob Barr is probably the best example of the conservative hypocrisy on the stance of abortion, but who cares really. I mean if the democrats are going to try and push this story, they better have a REAL story on their hands, and not just some cock-a-mamey scheme to try and discredit Bush. I really don't understand the big deal about the abortion debate when it comes to the left and the right anymore, unless a bill is being introduced. It is industry standard, left pro-choice, middle is still mostly pro-choice with some provisions, and right is pro-life.

When presented with allegations of arranging to have a girlfriend get an abortion, President Bush released his Dental records, and let out a collective sigh

As much of a fan I was of ECW, I'd have to say no one. They would all be buried and eventually sent to OVW or released anyway. Now if the "ECW" rumors are true that is a different story, but before I even start to think about that we need to hear about some more concrete progress in it.

The question is will it sell or not, not if you think RVD is a good wrestler. Isn't RVD one of wwe's top merchandise sellers, behind the big guys like Austin/Rock/UT? I remember his foam hands and first t-shirt selling like wildfire, he just got a new shirt, which is a good sign. Personally all wrestling debate aside, I think an RVD dvd would SELL more then a Cena DVD, I guess that's just me though.

the problem with Max is he was a homer and it showed in the way he distributed points and gave people the wins in showdown.

LOL if Big brings her back to NY where Aiden is waiting to try again....... I dunno, I have a feeling they might try to pull a swerve and have Carrie just stay in paris with the commie because she doesn't want to look foolish coming back or something. Honestly I have never been a big fan of Big from what I have seen (and been filled in on), however something doesn't sit right with the commie. I dunno if he will end up being a jerk or just a good guy that is not right for Carrie. Who knows, final episode should be interesting.

RVD should certainly have had a dvd before John fucking Cena, that is not even to say RVD should have one right now, but easily before Cena.

I think Amon Amarth is one of the better bands to come out of Europe in awhile. I am also fond of Dark Funeral.

it is pretty stupid though, if you are his opponent, are you just going to ignore the tapping and stomping?

Boston Globe: Dean Campaign Drawing to an End
NoCalMike replied to Dr. Tyler; Captain America's topic in Current Events
PLEASE. Dean was done before the roar. There had always been questions about the man's temperament, and the very reason he lost big in Iowa was because of one issue: electability. Most Democrat voters realized the guy didn't stand a chance in hell of winning the general election, and it showed. The media's response to the roar was the nail in the coffin, but be ye not deceived, his candidacy was dead well before that. right and on that account the media also played that opinion up too. Just about every day on Crossfire Carville questioned his electability and I am sure democrat voters were listening. Various other news networks harped on this issue too. -
Well if I can include ECW in this since Dreamer is technically a WWE worker now, umm I'd say when Lawler LEGIT smacked Dreamer's balls and he let out a scream like a little girl, and threw his hand up, and Lawler was visibly aware he actually caught him with it. That night Dreamer had a bunch of fluid drained from his balls.......

well considering he jumped right over the mid-card at the START OF HIS WWE career, I'd say it would be fair to bitch about him.

Possibly the Astros.

Boston Globe: Dean Campaign Drawing to an End
NoCalMike replied to Dr. Tyler; Captain America's topic in Current Events
Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to say Dean ran any sort of perfect campaign that was foiled by "the baddies" I am just saying I thought the media's coverage and scrutiny over the "outburst" was way overblown, and made to seem like a much bigger deal then it was. I can almost guarantee that when you ask your average joe blow about Howard Dean and what they think of him, the FIRST thing that would come to their mind is "aaaarrrrrrggggggh" before any single issue. -
I agree about the Carrie/Miranda blowup that Miranda was 100% right. It seems Carrie has 100000 reasons to stay in NY and the only ONE reason she can think to leave is because she doesn't want to be stuck with the good life she has!?! BUUUUUUUULLSHIT.

The argument that kids will be more likely to turn out gay if they see married gay people in society is a load of crap, however maybe teens that are experiencing and coming to terms with being gay, might not feel the need to go run and hide it from everyone in their life if being gay is viewed and accepted as a normal thing in society. On that same token, "gay" is not learned or worked on until it takes over your body, this comes down to, you either ARE or you AREN'T. Your NATURAL feelings determine this, not something you saw on tv or on the streetside. Now I am aware that maybe extreme cases of sexual abuse or something of the like, may blur the line, but then the real issue there is the sexual abuse and not the person being homosexual.

I dunno, I just can't get into Brock Lesnar like some can. He is decent, and can put on an entertaining match, but I still think he is just maybe a notch or two above the general "bland hoss" stigma. I just don't see what he does that is so spectacular in the ring.

I find Carrie to be the most unlikeable among the lead women. I watch the show occassionally but have paid closer attention recently since it is the last season. Carrie is a royal moron for leaving Aiden I believe TWICE, and now she is with some russian guy that should be her father, not boyfriend. Really though, besides being rich, how exactly did she fall for him, I must have missed an episode or two......

Boston Globe: Dean Campaign Drawing to an End
NoCalMike replied to Dr. Tyler; Captain America's topic in Current Events
I think the biggest reason Dean has fallen so fast is because almost every major media outlet has NON-STOP ad naseau questioned his "electability" which will easily affect people's opinions over time. No one seemed to care at first, for the first few months, but after those seeds were planted, eventually it got to the people. Secondly, the media has reduced Howard Dean into the "yeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaarrrrrrggh" guy. I mean seriously, it wasn't a fucking big deal to begin with, nor was it worth even getting replayed due to it not being newsworthy in the least, however everyone in their mother was searching for the next way to make a joke out if it. The thing that strikes me the most is the lack of attacks on Dean regarding the actual issues. Now I am not here to say I support all of his stances, but I just am not sure why people are so easily manipulated when it comes to scrutiny based on ISSUES as opposed to an emotional outburst. -
