This problem just started happening over the last week. It only happens when I turn off my computer. Now I know I have to click apply, rather then just ok to keep the settings and I did do this, but it still keeps opening some stupid "fastsearch" search engine crap instead of my homepage. What is causing this dammit? Thanks

I like Mahr, I really wish he would throw out whatever relationship he has with PETA though.
-
I don't even remember his Flair impersonation, however I remember his Triple H impersonation was pretty funny. Oh and yes if he resigns with the company in trade for a crappy deal on his part, then he can blame himself being treated shitty when he knows he could be happier somewhere else. Oh and as far as him "fucking up moves every week" if you are tired of that, then I guess half the on-air roster should be fired as well, starting with Batista.

The OAO Return of The King thread

Really thought was it THAT GOOD? I still don't get the "best movie I have ever seen" sentiment going around. -
Anyone remember the magnitude of the earthquake in SF in 1989?
-
Yes, let's build a company around a 'star' that is piss poor on the mic and very few people out of the immediate wrestling world know of/care about about, so they get a tv deal....yeah, that makes sense.... Yeah well people sure seemed to know who the hell RVD was when he FIRST showed up in WWE and outpopped their biggest draws. Who exactly does not know RVD that would watch a wrestling program anyway? He is not poor on the mic, he just has a different style that is not popular in WWE's system. If TNA can get a tv deal with Jarret & AJ Styles, then signing RVD would obviously GREATLY IMPROVE their chances. Not like anyone outside of the wrestling world knows ANYONE besides Rock/Hogan/Austin/Vince and possibly now, Foley. And none of those guys are going anywhere.

So sad to hear, especially so close to a family holiday.

Al Gore's Son Arrested for Pot Possession
NoCalMike replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Current Events
driving under the influence of any mind-altering drugs/alcohol of course should be given harsh punishment, however I agree that the anti-marijuana sentiment in this country is rather ridiculous. -
but but but......Canandian prescription drugs are..."daaaaaaaaaangerous"
-
RVD would probably make just as much money if not more outside of WWE. Just ask Raven and how it works out for him, and you can bet that RVD certainly would be a bigger indy draw then Raven. Plus TNA could build around RVD which would help out negotiations on the tv deal possibly. With that being said. It's RVD's decision.

I guess Cindy Margolis showed up at a bar with her husband and Reid was there. Reid dated her husband a long time ago and she made some rude comment towards him, so Margolis grabbed her buy the hair and pulled off the bar stool to the floor and they started punching on each other. Cindy Margolis was then kicked out.

Al Gore's Son Arrested for Pot Possession

arrested for pot posession!?! ugh... -
I just watched the 1:31 ad for it on that website. Damn I need to buy this.

You don't understand. I can see it now, though. We catch Osama.......and 24 hours later, liberals are talking about how Osama's capture means little, as he probably wasn't really behind many of the Al-Qaeda attacks anymore. Or they'll take your tact, and argue, "Oh, well, that's great, but the War on Terror can't REALLY be won, so this doesn't matter much......." Well liberals coundn't downplay it as much as the current administration has. Bush has already come out numerous times commenting on the insignificence of "two guys" yet I am sure he will unveil some master ad campaign centered around the capture of Saddam Hussien for his re-election. Oh and folks would be foolish to claim Osama had nothing to do with the attacks since that would be the first time anyone would hear that claim.

Ok I must have missed something in one of the films, or maybe have just forgotten since I have only seen each film once, but where exactly was Frodo going to at the end of the movie and why? Did it have something to do with his experience with the ring and it permanently messed him up or something? -
The OAO Return of The King thread
NoCalMike replied to Lord of The Curry's topic in Television & Film
After the opening "origin of Golum" scene, I felt the next 30-45 mins could have been cut, or at least bits and pieces. It was just too long. The movie was good, but I really question the notion that it HAD to be 3hrs20mins. -
I just watched 5mins and the dubbing has got to be the lamest shit ever. I think MTV just hired a bunch of popular mtv pop artists to do the dubbing, meaning they have no experience in this of course, especially in foreign dubbing. Nice butchering job mtv.

I am not sure what O'Reaily is so pissed about. Not like people take what Drudge says seriously anyway. However I guess because they both preach to the same crowd, it could hurt O'Reily a bit.

No one is "downplaying" Saddam's capture. It, it is what it is. A great thing. No one has said anything otherwise, however what it means in the big scheme of things is what people will question. I agree with Jobber's commentary on the "war on terrorism" Now, while we can certainly do things to damage a terrorist group's mean to attack us, you can certainly believe that there is no such thing as "winning" the war on terrorism. All there is, are some bright spots on the road, that will be highlighted by the media in order to take our minds off the goal in hand, which if thought out, cannot be realistically achieved anytime soon. Lets also realize, the capture of Saddam was hailed as making the world a safer place, and not yet what a week later, the terrorist warning level is raised to whatever color it was today. Now I don't remember anyone saying, "oh we'll be safer in due time, we might have to endure another attack or two, but then we will be safer" The debate going on in washington is not whether the capture of Saddam was a good thing or not, rather the debate is over whether the world(especially America) is safer TODAY.
