After debate Nader says considering president bid
NoCalMike replied to MrRant's topic in Current Events
I can see the blame game starting now. At least Dean will still win his home state though, something that if Gore could have done, you would have never heard any whining about Nader ruining the election. -
I am borderline atheist, more agnostic I guess, and I don't care who celebrates what really. It doesn't in anyway infringe on what I believe nor make me feel insecure in myself and my beliefs. As far as issues like "In god we trust" on the money and/or the Pledge/god thing, it isn't that I am BOTHERED that it mentions god, however what does bother me is that it is just kind of implied automatically assuming what "WE" believe, which is stupid because how do we define "we"....(does that make sense?) Now there are limits of course, to what I could be tolerate of, I mean if my neighbor was outside sacrificing a virgin to appease his Lord Doo-Nam-Wu-Da, then yeah I might have to go ahead and call 9-1-1.....

Either get rid of ALL religious trash, or allow it all, but picking and choosing is both unfair, and intolerable.

*zzzzzzzzz* Don't even start with this tired old rhetoric again.

To me Mild Salsa is nasty because the salsa juice is like water......ewww. I usually go with medium since most people in my circle of friends/family can deal with that. On Tacos I like the green sauce.

Did you read my post.......I SAID........I had never heard the fucking song.
-
I could live with that. Spending caps definately.

Aren't we forgetting Alan Keyes.... add him to the horrible list.......

Powell is pro-choice and pro-affirmative action, so he pretty much would not make it out of the republican primaries, however in the times we are in right now, it could be different if people are voting solely on how they think the Prez could deal with Iraq.

I haven't even heard this song, but would it be fair to say it is the new "Barbie Girl" song?
-
well it certainly would be nice. Equating "free speech" with "donating" millions of dollars to a candidate is certainly almost as clever as it is hilarious. The problem is, it is not DONATING and everyone knows it, it is BUYING A CANDIDATE, and it should be banned.

OK, let's keep one KEY fact in mind: The money in question is OUR money. The U.S is paying for the rebuilding, so we have the right to say who has a shot at it. Now, simple question: If you get the same benefit opposing us as you do supporting us --- why would ANYBODY support us? -=Mike Which will lead to what, international bribery and such, in order to get a piece of the pie?

How about entirely banning soft money altogether or put a cap on it across the board? Shouldn't major candidates have equal representation?

Flair Still Interested In WMXX Match With Steamboa
NoCalMike replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
this match is unnecessary, however if for some reason it was Flair's FINAL time wrestling, sure why not, however I doubt it. -

I have the Jason Newsted cut(metallica years). Long on top, side & back shaved. Although right now the sides and back are starting to become an afro, so I need to decide if I want to stick with this haircut, or just shave everything off.........my long hair i approx down to the top of my chest when combed out, but it starts to curl and get a tad wavy shich raises it about an inch or two.

The Rock's return was certainly a "moment" however the last time Rock returned, it proved ineffective after two weeks. Lets see how far WWE can use the Rock THIS TIME, before it reverts back into the same old show.

The lyrics are funny, but it is lame the way MTV never wants to admit that they are making fun of it's own talent. They try and go for the, "laughing WITH the artists" route, which kind of ruins the effect for me since pretty much everyone outside of mtv world pretty much thinks those lyrics explain mtv arists pretty damn well.

This movie is definately great and it has flown over many people's radars over the years since it is lesser known. Tarrantino sure wrote one hell of a script here~!

Fuck that. I'm all for ranking and labels. People need to EARN their spot first, dammit. Silly generalizations. Self-esteem? Who needs it? Hey buddy, I "earned my spot" before you had ever even posted or looked at this board. I just post on the CE forums les frequently then I used too, due to time contraints, and the fact that a lot of threads get turned into the same three arguments over and over, so I just sort of pick my spots nowadays. Who knows I could come back in full force one day......

Have you guys heard Triumpth the Dog's rap song, and seen the video?

Wanda Sykes entertains me. I thought she was hilarious doing the Andy Rooney satire on Inside the NFL earlier this season, and also enjoy her work on Curb Your Enthusiasm.

If anyone is actually trying to spin that WMD's & "imminent threat" was not the main stance Bush was throwing out pre-war, then you are just wrong and a revisionist. Hell, the humanitarium side of the story was barely ever mentioned until maybe a month before the wheels were already in motion. Go read PNAC where Rumsfield/Ashcroft/Bush and the rest of the bunch.....all pretty much state that they have had plans to attack Iraq for awhile now, for reasons that had NOTHING to do with "rescuing the Iraqi people" from an evil dictator, but also said they would need a "modern day pearl harbor" in order to get the public behind them. Well I guess 9/11 sent them into a frenzy.

Bryan Singer In Talks To Direct X-Men 3
NoCalMike replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Television & Film
I'd like to see Rogue promoted to the X-men group, and we can see Jubilee be the new, young lady of the group.
