Ok I did SOMETHING with WinRAR......I ended up turning all the files into two giant files but they are not mpg or avi.....this is what they look like.... kbv1.wp.cd1 & kbv1.wp.cd2 So it basically broke all my files into two huge files, now I still can't get either of these things to play. AM I on the right track with what I did or should I start over. I am not sure what you mean when you say, "un-rar" them. Could you explain that process? Thanks

We recently got a DSL for 2 computers. One gets the modem and the other by way of wireless signal. Now here is my question. When you do it like this, is it considered having 2 completely independent signals? For instance, if I was downloading on one computer, would this not affect a kbps on the other computer, or would the kbps cut in half if both computers were downloading?

If I were you I would hold off a bit. 5.1 is gonna be ousted soon by 6.1. 6.1 is basically the same thing but it puts ANOTHER center channel for the rear of the room. If you don't care about that then, go ahead and get 5.1 Also, I would get a reciever that can utilize DTS, since IMO, DTS is slightly better then 5.1.

Rant, thanks. It works now. My problem was I was trying to do it in Wordperfect instead of Microsoft Word. The copy/paste works fine in Word.....silly me eh?

I am making a cover sheet for my final project and I would like to pull a picture off the net to use, but when I try, it doesn't seem to work. Do I need a special program to do this, or am I just not doing it right. Could someone please explain how to do this?

When I do that in wordperfect it says image not available. I am wondering if I need a CERTAIN program to do this?

Well I don't believe the court said anything about gay marriage so much as they were more ruling that it is unconstritutional for anyone to be denied certain rights/privelages based on sexual orientation alone. "marriage" is just kind of like the gateway to those rights, however if civil unions are equal to marriage in every way but the name, then that would be a step in the right direction.

I still can't understand why it is so offensive to someone that they would even want to ban gay marriage. Like the gay guy down the street is decent, but somehow if he gets MARRIED, OH MY, END THE WORLD NOW. Happy to see the ban overturned, but I am awaiting an ugly hateful fight over this decision.
