AMC is showing horror movies 'round the clock through halloween. It would be wise to find the actual AMC schedule and post it at scorror. I think FMC is doing something similar.

Jaws did that. Nobody wanted to swim... kids were scared to sit on the toilet. TCM had a similar affect, but the audience was a lot smaller. Sorry I didn't make myself clear, I meant mass hysteria in the theater itself.

Wow, 7.2% alc content. Yes if you can drink and enjoy the taste of this ale, you DESERVE to be an arrogant bastard. I bought this from the local beverages & more market, which is a liqour store the size of a large grocery store. They have every type of alcohol you have heard of. Enough types of beer to keep you drinking a different selection for years, and enough accessories to mix drinks with the best of 'em. Oh yes this is heaven, hahaha.

Well at the time of release for each film then hell no, I mean it isn't even close. When the Exorcist was released there was all sorts of hysteria reported. However, the Shining was definately aged better with every consecutive group of youngins. I mean, people my age still claim to be scared by the shining, yet when I saw the Exorcist a few years ago in the theater, people were literally laughing at Linda Blair's demonic activites. It is sad, but true.

It really sucks that foreign horror films will never be acknowledged as "the best" from these mainstream outlets, hell I bet An American werewolf in London was just thrown on there so they could say, "look we know about horror, so there"

I just thought of another idea for www.scorror.com how about a special section for dvd easter eggs on horror/sci-fi dvds. Also maybe a reference/homage forum or section where people can list the specifcs they see that link movies to each other. Like for example on the Abyss dvd you can highlight a creepy alien creature in the middle of the ocean to get a trailer for Aliens, since James Cameron did both The Abyss and Aliens.

Psycho has a claim to being #1. You may not personally agree, but no other movie besides maybe Exorcist has had the same effect on pop culture as far as producing mass fear.

Well the verdict is not out yet on which side Arny will take though. It will be very clear soon if Arny was just blowing hot air, or if he is really going to take a stand ON HIS OWN TERMS. Rant, I would like to contribute to the site. I am not a graphics/imaging person, but I can write and/or review for you. Lemme know what's up... And Satanico....the design looks good to me. Once we add some images it should be killer.

Umm, you tell me first........kidding. I dunno, maybe like a spooky swamp with a house or a cabin and a lake or something..... I mean you could set the backround with that scenery and then add to it a silouhette of jason or something and then a ufo in the sky, to make the point of it being horror/sci-fi. This is just a rough type idea though........ So what did you have in mind by "crypt-look"?

well black/red/white fits the mold, but that is standard for just about every horror site....... Maybe A Crypt-type look cause that could fit into either one.....
