I've seen all these bands live before. And I still would go to the the CA show if it was closer.

More people watched Coach/JR than RVD/Xian
NoCalMike replied to QuestionMan's topic in The WWE Folder
No one expected him to be. The man hasn't been pushed in almost TWO YEARS. He just got done jobbing in every feud he's been in this year. Exactly. Why should anyone expect RVD to be any kind of draw at all when he hasn't done anything but job for the last 18 months. RVD needs a huge push and a lot of BIG WINS to even get close to where he was a couple of years ago, and that is not likely to happen anytime soon. Right now, there is NO DRAW in the WWE. True, some guys may garner .01 or .03 more ratings then another guy, but there is no SURGE in ratings for ANYONE......not even The Rock made a difference the last time he came back. -
RIAA to notify violators before suing...
NoCalMike replied to AboveAverage484's topic in Current Events
I still interpreted the lawsuits and the detection of file-sharing as that as long as after you download a file, as long as you clear it out of your, "files to share" folder you would be fine. I thought it was the sharing folder that the RIAA was looking at. -
I doubt he would get beat up for either shirt. In highschool, the majority of kids are not politically driven or can really careless, or in that mode where they just automatically hate the president for whatever said reasons.

Most people I know that steal SATELLITE, get their equipment straight out of the company warehouses anyway. So mayve these companies should investigate their own employees first.

Not only did the ref take a lame bump in that Unforgiven match, but the entire time it took Shane to climb up to the balcony, why the hell wasn't the ref counting the 10-count and eliminating Kane!?! Kane was down for over a minute. So lame.

This show is great. I can't wait.

I never agreed with the bastard, but he has totally shown the total gravy training ham that he really is. Throwing his support behind Arnold simply because he thinks he can win and has an ® by his name. This is such a joke. I wish Arnold would just change his allegience to himself and run as an indy, and then see Hannity back track and say, well umm......McKlintock is my guy dammit, great man he is.

Ah, but there are many superb, private hospitals in California with lots of funds to use. huh?

IFC, TCM, Sundance and Encore(on some cable/satellite systems) are included with basic cable. They are not part of a bigger package and show uncut/uncensored movies. AMC used to but changed format.

HOLY SHIT......THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN. After reading this thread, if this horror channel doesn't come to fruition, I will cry. Ever since I first watched the Sci-Fi network 10+ years ago, I always was wondering when the hell a horror network would come out.... Folks, I am going on vacation, but please keep this thread *bumped" up for Oct. 1st so I can remember to go sign the petition.

The thought of a terrorist "threat" is stupid, IMO. Terrorist attacks happen, more will happen, we all know it, but to suggest that everyday we live our lives "threatened" is silly.

Whatever happens, they better offer better programming than the borefest on NBA TV.

Well Limbaugh is already on the anti-Clark bus, not suprisingly, already claiming things like, "well gee, I don't think he was much of a general" Even though Rush got deferral from the draft because he had a boil on his ass.

Tucker Carlson gives wrong # on Crossfire
NoCalMike replied to Jobber of the Week's topic in Current Events
good prank, but still not as epic as death row records giving out Snoop Dogg's phone number to the public. -
Well I am happy that he will be making a good living now, but depressed and feeling sorry for him that his WRESTLING days are over.

Eh, you live here too, so you know that they don't come to our neck of the wood very often. Hell, there's no show for the Bay Area or Sac-town for at least the rest of the year by what I've seen. Yah, well like I said, $30 - $50, even maybe $100 for a FRONT ROW seat....is reasonable, but for the WWE product currently, I wouldn't pay $750 for a ringside ticket. I wouldn't pay $100 for lower reserved either. I went to Raw for $28, which I could have given away since my sister was comp'd tickets by her hotel that WWE stayed in anyway, and I won my smackdown tickets for free off of the radio. So I'd say $28 for a Raw & Smackdown is definately worth the price, but the WM prices, bah. However with all that said, I don't hold a grudge against people wanting to go and pay for WM and those obscene prices. That is everyone's choice, and I don't doubt for a second that the "live experience" will make up for a lot of the quality in the product that is lacking right now. To all those that have chosen to go, Please, ENJOY~!

Hold on Tight because the religious right will turn on the Simpsons ONCE AGAIN if the gay sex thing happens.

his latest time back was the least effective yet and any future returns would probably result in the same blandness. The Rock was great in his heyday, probably the best thing going in ProWrestling at that time, but it has passed and his character will never be as strong again because it is played out. He has been maxed out in character as a heel and a face. He got so much so fast, that there is no where else for him to go, ESPECIALLY since WWE is the only entity for Mainstream wrestling.

Highspeed modems will always win out in internet presales. I had to order concert tickets for my mom a couple weeks ago and got into ticketmaster's "find tickets" page at 9:00am sharp and it found my seats before it even got to 9:01am......yet the best available were seats on the side of the stage about 5 rows back. Which means highspeed modems are just gonna have to be the way to go for things like this. Thankfully I am getting on next month~!

I dont think its hilarious, we all bash the product because as it happens, we care about what happens. We have all enjoyed the WWE at one point or another and thus we always hope it will get better. As for buying tickets, people complain about how shit their sports teams are, but still go and see them in person when they get the chance. This is no different. There is no need for your 'high and mighty' attitude. Oh yeah, I *DID* get tickets. I have no high and mighty attitude in this thread. I was simply pointing out it's pretty ironic how people shit on basically everything WWE does and yet they're ready to kill someone over not getting tickets to the live show. I'm a fan and always hoping it'll get better, but I don't see things improving all too much until late 2004 and 2005. With the same flock of guys still ruling the airwaves as we close out 2003 with no real signs of change on the horizon, most of 2004 will probably be a lost cause and similar to the last two years. But whatever, far be it for me to make a simple observation. You all act like WWE's this big honest company that actually gives a damn about the fans, when I thought we all knew the truth, yet everyone's so shocked that they could "betray" their loyal fans like this. I guess if I had come in here yelling, "FUCK TICKETMASTER~!!!," all would be right? No fucking shit man, right on, and I second yer thoughts and earlier reply. Look the WWE product as a while is shit right now, and this futile attempt to "get yer WM tickets ahhhhh" is just laughable. I can understand going to Raw or Smackdown for 30 bucks, but paying $100 or more to sit in the nosebleed section to watch the same matches and bullshit booking that we all complain about every week is fucking hilarious. You may all officially bend over right now for Vince and the rest of the McMahons. I hope you enjoy Shane jumping off a 15ft high scaffold so JR can lie and say it is 50 ft.

well that and the fact that it is pretty lame to call marijuana a drug in the first place.

Do you really think I have the same resources as the government to conduct such research? We aren't talking about just driving around to a few schools in your area here. I am sure many private companies could have their own hidden agenda when they take the research though, not to say the government never necessarily would either.

I used to smoke, marijuana. Does that count? The taste wasn't all that, but it really relaxed the hell out of me. It also made some music sound a lot better.

Ok, but all a conspiracy means, is that it involves more than one person right? So what is "whacky" about that idea?
