Show sounds decent actually, almost GOOD. Only complaint is that it sets up UT for another title shot.

They had an interview with the program director of ESPN yesterday on the Jim Rome show and they said this Series is gonna break the rules for regular network cable channels(meaning non-premium) as far as language & Nudity go. I am suprised and fucking HAPPY.

well Moore is ruining his case by making idiotic statements like, "this is about ALMIGHTY GAWD" Also, what is with the gathering of protestors, is this cause really worth their time? The statue is obviously getting removed in due time, so I am not sure what they stand for, and how removing the statue threatens their belief in christ in any way.

great movie. Did you get a chance to see both endings?

17 year old doesn't get free doughnut, thows a fit
NoCalMike replied to MarvinisaLunatic's topic in Current Events
If I was the employee I would have given him a free dozen glazed donuts just for providing me with probably the funniest moment in at least a month or so. -
SUV exhaust being emissions-controlled, bwahahaha. Oh and yes these people were idiots. Much better ways to go about this.

MTV always plays a sample of that ONE Jurassic 5 song, but they have a lot more to offer than that.

Anyone with the internet should be disgusted with MTV/Radio music by now. I mean there is so much music you can find through the net that is good quality, NO MATTER WHAT GENRE you enjoy. Hell I am not a huge Rap fan, but the rap music I hear on the Free Speech network here just blows away the crap that is on MTV, lyrically and musically.

If Cash wins I hope he would just spit on the award and throw it down to the ground, and just start cursing or something. Seriously though, since when does MTV give two shits about Johnny Cash? Oh all of the sudden he gets attention on other networks and MTV has to jump on that gravy train. If I was Cash I would be insulted just knowing who the other nominees were.

WM ticket prices are ridiculous.

amazon says there will be an interactive baby translator on the dvd. That should be interesting.

the technology is at least START mildly getting off the liquid crack is there and ready to start using, however the almighty dollar sees fit for that to be halted every step of the way.

Ok, so make a new statue with the THREE COMMANDMENTS.

WWE will never improve as far as workrate/or creativity goes until another WCW comes along that can actively compete with WWE on a national level.

Now don't get me wrong, Austin has what it takes to make the GM role work but my main problem is the fact that this new watered down version of Austin is just boring as hell. Everything he does is so predictable. I really miss the old Austin that would give coach a stunner and then turn around and stun the person he just helped. I know he has to play more of a straight face to counter the straight heel Bischoff, but when it comes to Austin as an entertainer it just isn't the same nor as fun seeing the "I love the good guys" Austin. I mean Austin toasting beers with Shane McMahon, wtf? I wish Austin would just revert back to the F-Everyone attitude.
-
Or if Austin was the only GM.
-
Ok, yes IDEALLY I wish Austin would retire, but he isn't going anywhere anytime soon it seems, so lets concentrate on improving what we are seeing.
-
I second that.

Another thing rap/hip hop fans don't realize is that Rap is pretty much an american entity. I mean yes some of the bigger acts can do shows all over the world, however Rock/Metal are still much bigger on the WorldWide scale. A metal show in Norway sells more tickets than a hip hop show in Compton.

MTV is the epitome of what is wrong with the music industry. Every "artist" is packaged up to appeal to the broadest audience every in order to make the most money for the record industry. There are no ARTISTS on tv/radio anymore. You may hear a singer or band playing a song, but who wrote the lyrics, who composed the actually music, who taught the dancer all the fancy shmansy dance moves etc......If you do a little research you will see that most pop musicians these days are just required to come off looking good in a music video, but when it comes to what goes on behind the cameras, it has little to do with the talent of the pop act. Even the crap they pass of as rock bands are plagued with the same problems, mostly cause they suck. MTV/Radio is all mostly uninspired tripe made to jam down our throats until we just accept it as our own. Fuck you MTV, and Fuck you CLEAR CHANNEL. Oh and Uranium is a good show, the quality of music on there(for metal fans)is better than Headbangers ball and/or MTV2 Extreme Rock, however between only being a 30min show, plus interviews cutting into the show, there is usually barely 4 videos shown. They need to make the show an hour.

Entire cast of COMING TO AMERICA. Arsenio Hall was damn impressive. Brad Pitt's stoner character in True Romance was pure genious and it was revealed a lot of his lines, he improvised.

I know quite a few people who weren't into Resevoir Dogs the first time they saw it. Mainly because they aren't use to a dialouge driven movie and more used to the action speaking for itself. Give it another viewing or two and I am sure you will come around. That movie was pure gold, IMO.

Aren't only 2 of the ten commandments actually Law in the United States? And the rest are purely just christian belief? Thou Shalt not Steal & Though Shalt not Kill.....so how about a compromise. Make a new statue with The 2 Commandments and just disregard the rest in a PUBLIC courthouse.

Wow, Goldberg was destroyed there.
