A few comments on tonight... 1. REALLY digging the Kennedy character. Definitely my new favourite. I hope they don't drop the ball on this guy. 2. wtf is Sylvain Grenier doing now? First Conway becomes Bagwell '05, and now this? 3. Imagining Orton turn to his dad and saying "You know what...you're a legend...", then busting him with an RKO was all I could think about during his Undertaker speech. 4. I like muffins. Blueberry. I think this points out the general sentiment. A man decides to embrace his cultural roots. Because of a few terrorists sensationalized by the media happen to be of the same culture, this man is prejudiced against because "he could be a terrorist too!" Because of his culture, if he comes out with a group of thugs to beat on someone, everyone is shouting "Oh no! It's a terrorist!". He's not a terrorist, he's an Arab-American who has embraced his culture. What if, instead of Hussan, it was...say...Matt Hardy who came out with a group of thugs to do that to Edge? Would he be labelled a terrorist? What about if RVD came out with a group of thugs to choke out someone. Terrorist? How about Sabu? Not all terrorists are of Arab culture. Just because he comes out with a group of thugs to choke out someone doesn't make him a terrorist. It makes him a "thug"; we have those all over the place - Cena is proud to call himself a "thug". If you saw a group of Arabs walking down the street, would you call them terrorists? What if they were beating up someone? Are they terrorists yet? What if they weren't Arab? We wouldn't even be having this discussion.

It seems this time off is just time off from TV. He's still doing some dark matches and house shows.

Full spoilers: Teddy Long came out and announced Booker T vs. Chris Benoit, and Batista vs. Christian for tonight. Smackdown!: JBL starts off the show complaining about how his screw job makes "Bret Hart look like a parking ticket". JBL's music plays and a limo comes out. The bWo appears from the limo and run Bradshaw down, and the bWo was acting as the cabinet. (I forgot the nick names.) This leads to Bradshaw calling Meanie a fat (insert insult here), and Meanie vs. JBL is set for the night. Chris Benoit vs. Booker T - #1 contendership for the US title. Chain wrestling, and teased finishes all over this match. Benoit eventually wins after going for the Crippler for the 2nd or 3rd time. Benoit looked to have gotten a stinger in one of his arms. Rey Mysterio tries to get Eddie Guerrero to reconsider telling the world the secret. This eventually leads to Eddie forcing Mysterio to tag w/ him to face MNM for the WWE Tag Titles. JBL vs. The Blue Meanie - No DQ JBL basically squashes Meanie. Richards and Nova try to get involved and fail. JBL goes for a chair, and Richards recovers. This leads to JBL losing the chair, and getting clocked STIFF by Richards. Meanie hits a moonsault for a two count. Eventually Batista comes out and costs JBL the match via Spinebuster. JBL bleeds hardway from the chairshot. Muhammad Hassan and Daviari are complaining that Hassan was never elimated in last weeks main event. Long books Undertaker vs. Muhammad Hassan, #1 Contender for The World Heavyweight Championship @ Great American Bash. Long also decides Daviari has lots to say, and books Daviari vs. Undertaker tonight. Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio vs. MNM - WWE Tag Titles Mysterio and Guerrero dominate the early part of the match. Eddie even hits a frog splash and teases a title change when... Eddie pulls Mercury (I believe) up by his hair @ two. He tags in Rey, and from there Rey almost wins the Tag belts on his own. Eddie attacks Rey a few times, and MNM wins with there finisher. After the match, Eddie forces Rey into almost hitting him, and then eventually basically being a servent. Eddie made Rey do this things by threating to expose the "secret". Matt Morgan vs. William Regal Never Happened as the Mexicools destroy Morgan. Regal just chills in the enterance way. Undertaker vs. Daviari UT destroys Daviari. After the match 5 men come out in Black Masks, Black shirts, and Khaki Pants and beat the hell out of the Undertaker. Hassan comes into the ring and puts the Undertaker in the Camel Clutch. The 5 men carry Daviari out as if he was Jesus. Christian cuts a promo stating he is the first man to ever main event RAW and Smackdown in the Same week, and states he will beat Batista because he is Captain Christima... (insert insult here)! Batista vs. Christian Batsita wins via Demon Bomb (nothing to notre really about the match, it was good, but nothing noteworthy) After match JBl and Orlando Jordan come out and attack Batista. Batista overpowers and JBL throws Jordan to Batista. Demon Bomb for Jordan, and JBL walks away.

It's funny. I knew something was up the moment that match started, but I figured it would be Marty Jannetty running in and doing the superkick ("What do you think of your 'favourite' tag team partner now Shawn?!")...

When in the blue hell did this ass monkey compare himself to Bret? Is he FN high? Is everybody blind here? Why wasnt this brought up earlier? I hope Matt comes back and Edge kicks his sorry ass. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It wasn't Matt that compared Matt to Bret Hart, it was somebody writing about the situation - comparing the Montreal Screwjob and the fans reaction then to the current Matt situation and the fans reaction to it.

Matt's also posted to his site, asking his fans where he should go: One has to wonder if he's taking career advice from a bunch of fangirls seriously...

That's what I thought the stip was as well - although unless they bring it up next week, it'll probably just be "a" world title shot, which would mean Cena. My guess for Summerslam is that Cena will take on the Money in the Bank himself, Edge; while HHH and Angle will have a "look at me Bischoff, I deserve a title shot" match.

So did anyone else notice that Christian got to be in two "main events" in one night...before I pointed it out just now? Of course, with this double loss, he is now the losingest wrestler for the year so far (3-17 at Vengeance according to the win-loss thread would put him at 3-19 now)

Either that, or Christian (Carlito) could just look at Morgan (Tomko) and say "Hey, want to be my new Problem Solver (bodyguard)?

So what's going to happen now? Will HHH demand another title shot? I think it's a given that everyone assumes Dave will be drafted to Smackdown. This week's the last draft week, right? Anybody want to give a revised prediction now that Vengeance is over?

Is it ending on Batista's victory? I was kinda hoping for the MitB thing to happen, but I guess not after he lost tonight already.

I think it's like the train wreck mentality - so bad that you can't look away. You keep watching with the hope, because you know the second you look away something interesting will happen.
