Eesh. --------------------- And that "putrid pussies" comment was one of the funnier lines I've ever heard, mainly because I can't ever remember anyone else using anything like it. And the fact that it was bleeped somehow made it even funnier.

That's always been a mystery to me as well. I used to hate the bigger/thicker one when they first had to start using it.

Is there a way to circumvent copy protection
JJMc replied to The Czech Republic's topic in Technology
That doesn't work. Tried it. The copy came up as if I was watching a scrambled channel with the occasional clear spot. Now that's if it's copy protected. If you want to go the VCR route, you can buy a cheap video stabilizer on ebay for around $20. There's an almost 100% chance that it'll work. -
In all seriousness, I don't think there's a worse way to insult the intelligence of fans than to re-name an arena/stadium years after it already is identified by that name. The worst one has to be Comiskey Park. US Cellular Field? Are you fucking kidding me? Though, I have heard rumors of them just naming it the Boston Garden.

Did they show any clips of these on the DVD or whatever? Also, at a house show I went to in '98, they inexplicably taped it with multiple cameras, and I kept watching for footage to be shown on TV for whatever reason, but it never was. Weird.

Edit. Retarded post. I apologize to anyone who even glanced at it.

Paramount releasing Classic Nickelodeon on DVD!
JJMc replied to GreatWhiteNope's topic in Television & Film
Not really. I used to watch everything, but now the only show I still can watch is Hey Dude and a couple of selected eps of Salute Your Shorts. -
Anyone know where I can download the Royal Rumble?
JJMc replied to Epic Reine's topic in The WWE Folder
Yeah, I take partial responsibility. -
Anyone know where I can download the Royal Rumble?
JJMc replied to Epic Reine's topic in The WWE Folder
Can anyone give me dummy directions for using this method or direct me to a good walkthrough? I've downloaded maketorrent 2, and I went through the FAQ, but I'm just not sure how to proceed because the FAQ I used was very vague. -Jim -
I hope to hell he does. How long does Tenta have anyway?

It's hit or miss, really. It'll feel like summer on St. Patrick's Day, then three days later it'll be snowing. It seems to be different every year.

Judgement Day '02 or Rock Bottom.

Haven't been there in forever, but cdcovers.cc used to have the disc designs as well as the front/back covers.

I used to watch and tape (still have the tapes) every piece of WWF programming. I had previously taped Raw/SD in the fall of '98, then when the Invasion hit, I was all pumped and taped everything thinking it would be groundbreaking stuff years later. I stopped cold in May '03 (long after watching Smackdown, Velocity, etc. became a chore) when it appeared that nothing was going to get better. Now, I don't watch shit except Raw, and most of the time I don't even watch the whole thing. But I still get excited about it every Monday and probably always will.

I don't know if there's anyone here from New England, but how about during Red Sox games on NESN? Same set of commercials after every FUCKING inning. "Bernie and Phyl's....quality, comfort, and price, that's nice!!"

The real strange part was that he did commentary over the house mic, so the crowd could hear him. Did he really? Or was it just dubbed over for the show? Because that would be interesting.
-
I hope not. I have no allegience to the belt itself, but its just that they've changed their belts some many times in the last several years. They need to let the same designs stay for a while.

It's not on there. Battle of the Superstars 2 also has Mr. Perfect vs. Roddy Piper on the cover, but there is no match. And if I'm not mistaken, BOTS '92 has Jake/Roddy on the cover, same deal. So it's not uncommon.

Why/when would Crockett have been around during Russo's tenure? I'm not disputing this, I've heard the story, too. I'm just curious.

Canons are good and pretty cheap. I have a Canon ZR 60 that I got brand new on ebay for $300. Now you can probably get a better model for the same price.
-
You should either: 1) Get a standalone DVD recorder. They're more expensive, but they're easier to work with if you're just doing tape conversions. 2) Get a Mac to edit on if you want to do computer editing. Editing/capturing video on a PC is (to me) very inefficient and not worth the time and effort it takes.

If they had, it'd been the third title Christian won at a house show (the Euro from Bradshaw and the IC from Booker). Christian won the Euro belt at a Smackdown taping but the show ran long so it was cut.

Loved it. I'm just kind of an all-around fan of Michael Madsen, though, but it was still good.

Don't mean to be disrespectful or whatnot, but I was just watching AIC's Unplugged show and noticed that he wears only one earring in his right ear. Maybe just his preference, who knows. Anyways, forgive my stupidity. -Jim
