Bossman jobbing to Bigelow at Royal Rumble '93. Blake Beverly after Bloom left. Virgil was given the same treatment until he left in '94. He also jobbed to Nikolai Volkoff around that time.

A show in Salem, NH in '99. It was well attended, the venue was almost sold out. But it just wasn't good. There was a Buff Bagwell ripoff and everyone chanted "gimmick enfringement." The Headbangers and the Mean Street Posse were advertised, but it was clearly a bait and switch job. The main event was Brian Lee doing his fake Undertaker gimmick against "Doink." Everyone started running, yes running, for the exits when they realized it was the last match and there were no Headbangers/Posse. They brought the match to a finish when they saw everyone flooding out. The promoter ended up giving everyone half of their money back.

When all of the over the air channels are no longer used, the frequencies that they are broadcast on can be re-allocated for other things that use radio frequencies. Police radios, wireless microphones, etc. Maybe someone else can explain it a bit better than me.

Pretty cool to see a handheld from a Raw around that time. If I'm correct, that was 7/22/96 in Seattle. I wonder if anything else from that night exists in handheld form?

Actually, you could unlock Kwang in Raw for Genesis 32X. Remember that thing?

A chem teacher at my high school was fired for allegedly sucking on a girl's finger after she had gotten a cut on it during class. BIZ-arre.

I'm sorry, but I don't buy the "summer driving season" bullshit that they try to foist off on us. Even if that's what it was, the price should not increase by as much as it does. And it seems that this summer increase deal has only been happening for the last few years. I'm stating the obvious perhaps, but for God's sake, how stupid do they think people are?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3hGh2suZhEI...ted&search= NWO Nitro, part 1. There are others on there as well. I never saw it back when it aired, but it was a cool idea. Too bad they couldn't make it work. Rick Rude was the shit in his short NWO stint.

That sucks, but in my experiences with tape trading, the term "unwatchable" is sometimes subjective. Also, I've had VCRs that just can't stabilize the tracking and others that play the same tapes fine. Now, with DVDs, this isn't as much of an issue I guess. I hear you, though, I've been in this situation many a time. Jim

In an issue of WWF Magazine a couple of months later, there was a story on how the belts changed three times in a week as well as pictures of a couple of the matches.

Virgin Mobile is without a doubt the best. Easy to add minutes, good coverage. I had it (still do, actually) for over 3 years before switching to Cingular (big mistake) back in November.

Looks like this guy got nabbed. His account is suspended. Not hard to understand why, he had at least a dozen full shoots on there.

Good, I'm off the hook! -
Along those same lines, Vince McMahon, must have been '98 or '99, comes out one time and is getting the 'asshole' chant. He stops and what follows is: Vince: "I hope the boys in the truck have their finger on the bleeper button, because I've never been called that name by so many assholes (***BEEEEP***) in my life."

Cool. I had forgotten about WCW's "The Big Bang" show that was planned for May '01.

I've been an AOL customer for years now, but I've noticed recently that anyone can sign up for an aol.com email address (which I think was stupid on AOL's part). The address is really all I care about, so I was wondering that if I were to cancel my account, could I still use the screenname and email address? I really would like to since the monthly fee is really just a drain on my bank account and I also have Comcast hi-speed.
-
The funny thing is, it's already cancelled in a sense. My bank had to issue me a new debit card with a different number due to the TJ Maxx security breach and AOL doesn't have the new one on file yet. I was going to update my info but I guess there's no need to now. Thanks to everyone.

I know exactly the one you mean. I have some Challenges from then and I went to do a screen cap for ya and realized that I put those tapes in storage. I'll see what I can do, though. -
How could anyone NOT want to see this? I remember at one point, you could go to his website and view the trailer and there was even a release date scheduled, but then all the crap about the lawsuit came about and now it'll probably never get released.

From what I saw, Tuesday's show and the "pilot" were the same episode...which I was pissed at since I recorded them both. This was the same for everyone else, right?
-
Hell, there are 4-5 full serve stations in my town. It's funny when people from New Jersey (full service only) come into the one I work at expecting to be able to pump it and I greet them at the pumps, a lot of times resulting in them getting pissed and driving off.
-
It's been dipping again a little bit recently. There's actually two stations wherever I live that are at $1.93. You can't even pull in because every pump is tied up and there are people waiting.

I thought Jannetty was already hired a few months ago with Brad Armstrong and a few others. What happened there?

I always liked Flair's '91-'93 WWF theme. I actually prefer it to his current one. I'll also second Undertaker's current theme. Just awesome. And someone said Justin 'Hawk' Bradshaw's...that was a forgotten gem. I think he continued to use it with the New Blackjacks and into his solo run in '98.
