He used to have pictures on the site of whole walls filled with VHS tapes. It has to be seen to be believed.

It wouldn't surprise me if he shut it down. They really started cracking down in the last couple of years. I just looked around and couldn't find anything. -Jim

August/September '01, the old yellow board I believe. I used to go to rantsylvania in early '01 but I never went on the board there. Then, when they switched over to The Smartmarks, I hopped right on. I remember there were other choices for the new site name. thisisworkrate.com (which was my favorite) and vanillamidgets.com come to mind. Edit: my 1000th post. Cool.

Sorry to keep this going, but yes, it's true. He wasn't billed as Kane at Series '90, but the following weekend on TV (might have been a couple of weeks later) he was. I remember because I had it on tape and the first time I heard it I almost jumped out of my chair.

Actually, Action Zone replaced All-American in late '94. Mania was replaced with Livewire in '96. There was also WWF Blastoff on WGN for a while in '96-'97. It was on right before Livewire and basically the same show (recaps mostly). There were also WWF New York and 11:Alive in the late '90s. Actually, 11:Alive only lasted about a month and was hardly shown anywhere. Both shows were just Shotgun with different commentary.

I remember the announcers putting over Armstrong for staying alive in the double elimination tournament as if he's getting a nice push . . . unfortunately, I don't think any of his 'wins' were televised and he was doing his dutiful jobs as if no tourney was going on. At least he got a CW Title shot at Slamboree 96 because of it. There was a piece written online about that whole fiasco a few years back. I think it was actually posted on here. I printed it out and saved it, but I just tried finding it again and couldn't. It was a hell of a read and it explained all of the innacuracies etc. Maybe someone can dig it up..

$2.23 here in Mass. It's still falling, but much slower than a few weeks ago.

Actually, I don't know if that was ever confirmed. Mostly because it was on IMDB, which is known to have been wrong on things. It said that his liver exploded, which sounds kind of outlandish. ------ Just checked on IMDB and its gone. On tv.com it lists his date of death as 2004. On Wikipedia, it disputes the fact that he is dead. It's amazing how little info on him there is. There's no record of him acting in anything other than Hey Dude...

Is it possible to copy songs from an iTunes library over a local network to another computer? I know that you can listen to them, but I was just wondering if there's a way to transfer them. I'm on a Mac, by the way.

I don't remember if it was in '93 (it was probably '94 or '95) but does anyone else remember Van Hammer repeatedly trying to get DDP to arm wrestle him? I remember finally Hammer came down when DDP was in the ring and he locked the railings together, blocking the aisle. They finally went at it, and Maxx Muscle helped DDP win illegally. I think this was on WCW Pro when it was on Saturday mornings. Was this releated to a tourney?

Where is this? It's still $2.50-2.70 in most places in Mass.

That WorldWide was very surreal to watch. I remember they didn't have the usual WCW intro. They just flashed the WCW logo and played this weird music. It was kind of funny because it was the weekend after the final Nitro. I think it was Tony and Scott Hudson hosting and they seemed to be really sad when signing off.

Zenk quit the WWF after acting like a prick over a new dress code and being chewed out by Rick Martel. I think there might have been some bitching about a payoff too. Martel discusses it at length in his shoot. This was discussed in the "old WWF tidbits" thread I believe.

40-year-old man breaks up a fight between two 16-year-old girls
JJMc replied to UZI Suicide's topic in General Chat
It keeps stopping halfway through for me. And I don't mean freezing or timing out. It goes back to the beginning after the guy says "take it out of my ass" or whatever. Anyone else have this problem? -
Ok, I ordered the somebitch almost a month ago and have yet to receive it. I need to email this guy..

It was an OK shoot I thought, mostly because I was surprised at how much he seemed to care about the business and how proud he was of his career. As far as stories and stuff go, there were a few good ones, but not one of the "meatier" shoots if you ask me. Edit: I just ordered the Vader and Kamala shoots. Anyone see these? Any good?

I've just put together my first computer. It was my first time, but I am not by any means computer illiterate and I pretty much had an easy time connecting all of the components etc. Setting up the BIOS is completely foreign to me, but I figured I'd cross that bridge when I got there. BUT, when trying to spark it up for the first time, I get nothing. I check the connections for the power/reset buttons and eventually realize that I had everything wrong. I re-do them, plug it in, and the hard disk light comes on, but I still get nothing when I hit power. I'm positive that I hooked everything up correctly. The only thing I can think of is that the power switch on the case is no good, since I'm using the case from an old computer, but that would be a huge coincidence since I had it running fine a couple of months ago with all of the old components. Here is a screen of the motherboard panel where all of the switches are supposed to plug in. The POWER_SW is the one I'm not having luck with. HD_LED works fine. Does anyone know what "FP PWR/SLP" is? I tried the wire for the power switch in that slot without luck. The manual doesn't tell you shit and is vague. Does anyone know why the hell this isn't working? -Jim

That's true, I never thought about that. I'm going to try a new power supply. Thanks again.
-
Yeah, it's the old power supply, but there's definitely power getting to the board. I'll check out their website. Thanks again.
-
Yes. I have some Challenges from about mid-late 90 and I remember seeing him. It was around the time of Battle Kat, too, I think.
-
No, there was no cracking or popping of any kind. No sounds, except that of the power switch clicking. I always discharged any static before touching the computer. I wasn't wearing a wristband or anything, but I was extremely careful. I ordered a CPU/motherboard combo from newegg.com. The page is below. It's definitely on the lower end, but there's no reason the son of a bitch shouldn't power up. a31g Also, even if there was a static problem, how would that explain the LED light getting power? I don't know, but to me, if I fried the thing, nothing would work, right? Thanks for the reply. -Jim

I don't recall that. Anyone else?
-
Yeah, that'd be good. Thanks.

That's the balls. I've had that problem with mine for over 10 years. I'm gonna order that and try it.
