See, I didnt need to know that. Argh. Shit, I didn't read your post carefully enough I guess. Good luck!

Corsicas get a bad rap, but they're pretty good cars. My mother had her '94 from '97 until this year when the tranny blew at 106,000. It would've probably gone another 100k, but she didn't want to fix it.

Take the phone apart and lay everything out to dry in front of the heater vent or on the baseboard. No shit, I've done this with two waterlogged phones and had them up and running in a day. Or, since you're probably not cheap like me, just save yourself the trouble.

When I bought my PowerBook, it had StuffIt Expander already on it, which handles .rar, .zip, and other archive types. It usually unpacks them automatically. Try looking for it on yours, I'd be surprised if it wasn't included with the computer.

Not that anyone probably cares, but there's also a much more rare version with the phrase whited out instead of blacked out that was still up around $30 the last time I saw.

Don't bother, man. Just another thing to worry about.

I've workes at a Texaco/Shell station for about 3 or 4 years. It's a full service station (for those that don't know what that means, and if the dumbasses I encounter are any indication, there are quite a few...it means that we, the employees of the station, pump the gasoline.). Now, in some places, apparantly, there are no stations of this kind, but where I live, they are fairly common, and there are numerous signs designating my station as "FULL SERVICE ONLY." But apparantly, that isn't enough for most people, who when pulling up, greet me by getting out of their car (as if to start pumping their gas) and say "oh, it's full service?" or "is it self service?" That one REALLY pisses me off. I don't usually get mad at them, but damn, you know? If it WERE self service, what would I come out to your car for? To say hello? Man..

Almost three years old and still going fine. I'm not a phone person at all, so if I hit it with $20 of prepaid minutes, that'll last me usually a month at least. Gets excellent service, too, even in a lot of places where these newer phones don't.

I wish I would have known that. I run with mine quite a bit and depending on where I clip it, it will stop right in the middle of a song and go back to the main menu. But, what can you do?

See, I'm no talk radio enthusiast or anything, but I flipped on WBCN in Boston and caught a few minutes of Roth's show. I heard him saying that "they were building a case against him and he probably was out of here." But I stayed with it and ended up listening on my whole hour drive to school. I don't think there's a thing bad about it. He's funny and to me he has good opinions. I never bought into Howard Stern, either. I have nothing against him, but I don't think he's anything special.
-
Has anyone been listening to this lately? Apparantly they stripped down the show to just him talking for 4 hours in an effort to get him to quit. Anybody know if he's definitely getting the ax?

A Corolla, older Camry, small Volvo, Honda Civic. All reliable as hell and cheap. Just look in the paper.

He didn't really, he just shoved her agianst the door when he was drunk or something.

Was that the Big Gold Belt on his lap?

I would get Avid regardless of whether or not you get a PC or a Mac. Final Cut Pro IS really, good, though. And Final Cut Express (the barebones version of FCP) is a bargain at $300 or so. As far as doing simple editing, you can't go wrong. The only drawback in your case is that FC is only for Mac.

Yeah, that's right, ASSHOLE! haha!

Yeah, trying to line it up by hand would be an extreme pain in the nuts. The easiest way would be to line them up with Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro or something, but those programs cost a hell of a lot and capturing everything onto a computer would take forever. Try it the way Y2Jerk said, though, you might accidentally get it in sync. -Jim

No, they aren't, at least on the '98 box set.

Well that's film. Video tape (i.e. television brodcasts) didn't come in until the late 40s and wasn't widely used until at least the the 50s. And as I said, early video tape was expensive and wasn't very durable at all. I was just distinguishing between film and tape, I don't know if the original question was meant to.

The Legacy box set is NOT re-issues of the Coliesum tapes. They are not edited like the Coliseum ones are. A good example is VII, where several matches are clipped right to the opening bell (i.e. no ring entrances). The Demolition match comes to mind. However, the '97 box set may contain even more of the original footage than these do from what I've heard.

I wouldn't mind a weekly TV show devoted to old stuff, either. Here you go: http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/247legends That's what I always thought WWE Confidential/Excess should have been. A roundtable discussion type show, utilizing the old footage, and with no need for current recaps. It would be nice to showcase even a little bit of the old footage for free, wtihout having to pay $20 for a DVD. Smart move in my opinion, because it will entice people to want to see more of the footage, and THEN go buy the DVDs or subscribe to 24/7.

Back in the early days of video tape, it was common to record over previous footage to save money. I have heard this being the case in regards to WWF before.

Think you know wrestling theme music? Try this!

You bastard! I thought I was going to be the first to ring in with Friar Ferguson!
