    RAW XV

Holy shit. Edit: You know, as cool as this show is gonna be, part it just makes me a bit annoyed that they didn't put this kind of effort into their 10th anniversary show.

    RAW XV

If Hassan shows up, I want pro-USA Kenzo Suzuki to beat him up. Yes, I know Kenzo was never on Raw, I still want to see it.

    Guns

This could have been solved easily if they simply implemented my idea of having metal detectors in churches. A lost oppurtunity.

    Best Promos Ever

Cactus Jack talks about his Uncle Willie Some of Mick's best stuff, rarely seen in comparison to the rest of his anti-hardcore work.

Eight people killed in Omaha Mall

Yeah, I mean the Virginia Tech killer is more or less ingrained into people's heads after what happened. Or well, he would be if he didn't have an Asian name. Here in the States, Seung-Hui Cho just doesn't roll off the tongue like Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris.

Those Koreans really hate Japan don't they?

This isn't really a surprise. The Chinese are still pissed about Unit 731, and that the Japanese haven't owned up to it enough, of course Unit 731 isn't nearly as known in the West as the Nazis are.

    Turning Point

Kong's a badass and ODB's a wild fun loving drunk with possible bi-sexual overtones. Not a huge surprise.

WWE General Discussion - November 2007

Yeah, Flair turned heel on Austin shortly before Judgment Day, and remained as such, until Austin walked out, and was a face again until Unforgiven 2002.

    Worst President Ever?

Based on what I've read in Imperial Life in the Emerald City, the ideal goal with Iraq was not so much collecting oil, but rather setting up a secular free market that they could get American corporations to invest in. Iraq was supposed to a capitalist paradise (15% flat tax, little government involvement in the economy), but well we all see what happened there.

HHH may have barely won at Fully Loaded, but he wasn't the one in mid-card fueds with the likes of Benoit, X-Pac, Kane, and Regal the year following, and it didn't take him 11 months to get another PPV main event spot again.

WWE General Discussion - November 2007

I'd prefer Flair's last feud be with somebody who can be semi-engaging on the mic. If Lashley as a heel does need somebody to go against, Jeff Hardy is right there.

    Raw 11.26.07

Any return of the Highlight Reel is worthless without a mention of the obscenely expensive Jeritron 5000. Maybe it'll be upgraded to the 8000, the next time we see it.

WWE General Discussion - November 2007

His odd, limbo like status, along with my own doubts regarding how well they'll be able to get feuds for the likes of Mysterio, Finlay, Lashley, Hardy, etc just makes me think that MitB will make a comeback, overkill or no.

The only matches I'm seeing with Shawn are indeed vs. Mysterio or a WM XIX rematch with Jericho. Either one would be fine. If they were willing to turn Batista heel, I'd be a tad curious to see him against either Rey or Lashley.

So Fire Pro R is back

Customizing a ring, a title, and a promotion are easy. Don't know about creating a ref, as I haven't done it yet. Creating a ring or a logo both take a lot of time, especially if you get into editing CPU logic for the former.

So Fire Pro R is back

Between the downloaded character rosters, ring logos, and 4 on 4 elimination tags, I'm gleefully creating every single Survivor Series match I wish had happened over the years, (Hogan/Savage/Roberts/Warrior vs. Dibiase/Andre/Rude/Honkey), (Bret/Perfect/Savage/Taker vs. Shawn/Flair/Razor/Kamala), (Austin/Rock/Jericho/Undertaker vs. HHH/Rikishi/Kane/Angle), and (Evolution vs. Booker/HBK/Goldust/RVD).

    Endgame:

I did get a recent chuckle seeing the Screw Loose Change film on Google video. Effective in debunking the film, and funny.

WWE General Discussion - November 2007

Just to provide a... break from the conversation, here's a recent tidbit from the Observer. On the heels of the recently strengthened WWE wellness policy- which is supposed to close some of the loopholes- there is a huge fear among some of the wrestlers about getting fired due to it because there isn't a viable 'WCW-like' promotion out there. TNA isn't perceived to be on the same level as WCW because there is a lot less money and exposure. While TNA has a rep for hiring talent fired for drug issues in WWE, at this point they're not going to take a fired WWE wrestler who lost his job over a drug test failue unless he is a top level star or friends with the right people in TNA- and that's a pretty small list.

    Impact spoilers for 11/22

Good main event, and AJ getting the turkey suit is a classic humilating move on a heel. I marked for Kong catching and eating the thrown turkey leg.

WWE General Discussion - November 2007

Shawn always struck me as a guy who didn't bring his best every single night, but even still was easily one of the top 5 workers in the company. He clearly does better when he's initially working with fresh opponents (see Jericho, Cena, Angle).

    ECW 11.20.07

Lashley ain't going back to ECW. Maybe Smackdown some time to do something with likes of Batista or Edge, but the office isn't sticking the guy they're grooming as the future star on the "C" brand again, especially when Punk's doing a fine job anyway.

    Smackdown Spoilers for Nov 23rd...

Some more detailed spoilers from pw(insert joke name about pop ups here)insider In A Dark Match, The Nasty Boys beat Dave Taylor & Drew McIntye. Smackdown opened with Edge and Vickie Guerrero backstage. Vickie starts to yell at him, then smiles, and they hug. Edge reveals it was a plan all along. Vickie puts over what Edge did at the PPV and announces Batista vs. Edge next week for the WWE title. They kiss, which was... very odd... a little bit repulsive. JBL is in the ring. JBL introduces MVP and puts him over as the greatest US champion ever. MVP comes out dressed with a very nice suit. JBL spends more time putting him over and showcasing what he did last week to Matt Hardy. MVP says Matt Hardy should be putting up the ring rather than working in it. JBL gives MVP the great "United Nations" Ring, which is a ring (like for a finger) that resembles the U.S. Title. MVP puts JBL over as a great champion. JBL leaves and MVP continues to talk down about Matt Hardy who isn't here until Rey Mysterio comes out. Basically, Rey tells him what he did was wrong and calls MVP a "punk" about 30 times. Rey vs. MVP tonight. This segment was very drawn out. It took about 25 minutes live. Backstage promo by the Major Brothers talking about their upcoming match. Not sure if this will even make air. WWE Tag Team Champions John Morrison and The Miz defeated The Major Brothers. Predictable and not really that entertaining. Vince is backstage with Finlay. They both talk about how irish they are and how Finlay loves to fight. Originally booked for later was Mark Henry vs. Hornswoggle but Vince added Finlay to the match to make it a handicap match. Nobody really cared. They announce the Cutting Edge tonight with Edge interviewing Dave Batista. Batista asks Vickie why she did why she did and she says she did because she "loves" Edge. Oh brother. Kane defeated Big Daddy V via disqualification. Okay, this was utterly stupid and TNA-level booking, and yeah the match sucked. Matt Striker comes into the match with a chair and doesn't even TOUCH Kane. Kane grabs him by the throat, and the ref calls for a DQ. So now, IMPLIED counts as a DQ also? Kane attacked HIM first. Stupid. They did a promo with Jesse and Festus putting over the John Cena DVD. Also Not sure if this will make air. WWE United States champion MVP pinned Rey Mysterio after he reversed a rana into a powerbomb and held onto the ropes. Best match of the night on the Smackdown side, but I know with more time they can do better. Finlay & Hornswoggle defeated Mark Henry in a handicap match. Lots of fun spots with Finlay and Henry. Great Khali came out to fight Finlay. Mark Henry and Khali beat down Finlay and left him laying with Horny checking on him. Jamie Noble defeated Palumbo. Shocking win, but the match had no heat. Couldn't quite see the finish, sorry. Filler. Torrie Wilson defeated Victoria. More Filler. The Cutting Edge with Batista closes the show in quick fashion. Edge is in the ring with Vickie and says that he had planned this for four months. I suppose with Krystal gone, she is the replacement. Edge introduces his guest, the "soon to be former World Heavyweight Champion" Batista. Batista says that Edge doesn't deserve the title, but he does deserve the "ass-kicking" Batista will give him next week. He shoves Edge and leaves. Edge thinks he's out of the water, but the lights come off and you hear a gong. The Undertaker comes up out of nowhere and Edge runs off. Taker grabs Vickie Guerrero by the throat, signaling for a chokeslam, but then tombstones her and stares Edge down to end the show. Vickie was stretchered out. I am not sure if was taped for Friday or as a WWE.com exclusive. After ECW, In a Dark Match MAIN EVENT, World Champion Batista & Rey Mysterio defeated US Champion MVP & Edge with a double 619, into a spinebuster, into a springboard splash. Curious to see if anyone on WWE TV or the website will have the balls to say Taker made Vickie Rest is Peace.

Well, looks like MVP/Matt may be blown off at Wrestlemania after all. Matt Hardy has emergency appendectomy in Tampa, out 1-3 months
