Jericho, at the very least, very energetic, and I look forward to seeing his ring work again. Good response from the crowd, and his promo, familar or no, got the people going. The "kinda gay" comment was partly in jest, and partly due to the fact I'm not used to seeing Jericho's unique fashion choices like I was two years ago.

8 man matches are a great joy. I've had two timed rumble matches where I was the first guy in, and it of course, comes down to me and the last man in. First time it was Vader and he just beat the piss out of me, until a hit the Eiffel De Parachute out of nowhere for the pinfall. Second time, comes down to me and Terry Funk, with him making some great babyface comebacks and kick outs, and constantly dodging my corner to center gore. Eventually put him away with my new favorite finisher sequence: Complete Shot, Corner to Center Gore, and a run to corner moonsault. Whole thing went almost 20 minutes, with just me and Terry taking up a third of that.

Well to be fair, it was reported that WWE was trying to convince him to stay, so while they didn't exactly fight tooth and nail to keep, its not as if they just let him walk out the door without a word.

I thought the game was the shit just playing through it normally. Then I had Sting/Road Warriors vs. Vader/Miracle Violence Connection in a landmine explosion match. I then realized that it was beyond anything I could imagine.

Following the tapings JBL huddled CM Punk, Matt Hardy, MVP, John Morrison, and The Miz in a corner backstage at the arena. What JBL proceeded to do was rip apart Miz and Morrison for their job on commentary and in the ring on Smackdown against Hardy and MVP. JBL said that their commentary did nothing to benefit Punk or themselves, and that their ring work in their tag title victory over Hardy and MVP made Hardy and MVP look bad. He asked them to apologize to the other three. Miz was fine with it, apologized, and moved on. Morrison however got in JBL's face and told him it was none of JBL's business. He then apologized, and told JBL it had nothing to do with him. After the two went back and forth verbally some more, Morrison actually shoved JBL down, and the two began fighting. Johnny Ace and some people near by had to come break it up. No word on the fallout of this as of yet. I guess being a wrestling god outranks the lizard king.

On another set of spoilers I saw, Christian attacks Booker after the match but Kaz runs in for the save against Cage and Rhoode.

Three surprise attacks on babyfaces after their victory seems a little much for Wrestlemania. The Mankind attack can wait until the next night, and Diesel could simply have a stare-down with HBK ala Owen-Bret at WM X. Justin Hawk as Taker's opponent is a bit of a let down. Even a babyface Wrestlemania rematch with Jake Roberts or a quickie feud with Diesel would work fine.
