From Wrestlezone.com and PWInsider.com Dark Match: OVW's Charles Evans beat Chavo Guerrero. -- The Major Brothers won a tag team battle royal to earn a title shot later "tonight." Other teams were Deuce/Domino, Jesse/Festus, Drew McIntyre/Dave Taylor and Jimmy Wang Yang/Shannon Moore. The Majors eliminated Deuce/Domino for the win. -- Victoria w/Kenny beat Michelle McCool w/Chuck Palumbo. Victoria won with a DDT. -- Finlay beat Rey Mysterio after knocking Rey off the top rope as Rey was about to hit a West Coast Pop and hitting the Celtic Cross. Match had to have gone around 20 minutes, really good stuff. -- CM Punk beat Jaime Noble. Afterwards, the Miz attacked Punk and John Morrison attacked Miz, leading to a three way brawl. Punk won the day, but was laid out by Noble. -- MVP/Matt Hardy beat The Major Brothers to retain. -- The Undertaker beat The Great Khali in a No Holds Barred match. No weapons were used, Taker won with a Triangle choke. (Post Show) After Undertaker wins, JBL gets on the mike and gets in the ring telling the Undertaker to get out of the ring or he will beat him down. Taker then gives JBL a choke slam and Tombstone, then leaves with the pose on the stage.

The OAO Mystery Science Theater 3000 Thread
BorneAgain replied to DMann2003's topic in Television & Film
Apparently Rifftrax isn't the only MST3k spinoff these days because Joel and the bots are back... sort of. Cinematic Titanic Joel Hodgons' upcoming riffing project with Trace Beaulieu, J. Weinstein, Frank Conniff, and Mary Jo Pehl to also be involved. -
Man Candian PSAs are fun.

This just seems so unlikely that I don't believe it, but 1up.com doesn't strike me as reporting too much BS... Updated version of WWF No Mercy to appear on WiiWare Like I said, probably BS, but in the unlikely event its true, awesome.

Apparently the viral campaign's reached TNA. There was evidently a subliminal address that went across the screen on TNA's youtube video of Impact for the Nash/Hall/Angle segment at the end. The address was "moc.a70n11t11.www\\:ptth". Reversing the link, it turns out to be http://www.11t11n07a.com There's a jigsaw puzzle one puts together at that link, which eventually reveals this image: TNA obviously stuck in the the youtube video, hoping to get some attention.

Hopefully this time without any panty hose on his head.

Man it sucked for someone to be drafted this year. BDV and Khali turned out well, and Jillian's doing okay, but... Daivari, Sandman, Masters, and Eugene all released. Lashley, Boogeyman, and Holly injured. Kennedy, Regal, Morrison, and Snitsky all suspended. Booker quits. Flair on a long hiatus. And Benoit, well... Kenny might wanna be careful the next couple of weeks.

I guess the item was light enough that its not construed as weapon, and thus not a DQ.

Don't forget D'Lo, who Long turfed after he was beat on Raw by Booker, who for some reason answered one of Teddy's White Boy challenges.

I know the GBA Fire Pro allowed you to change the mode style to American, which meant one's signatures and finishers hit harder.

I really try to resist the urge of falling into the college age leftist trap of calling Bush the worst president ever, not that he's making that easy. In terms of possible negative long term effects, he's gotta be up there.

Time for the return of the teardrop suplex.

Rey in a HIAC could work if he bumped his ass off for a big guy inside ala Shawn with Taker back in 97. His style of high spots are a bit risky with the match, but Mysterio's creative enough to try some crazy stuff.
-
Finlay would be awesome. It would be but I think they will likely keep Mysterio/Finlay going until at least Series and possibly beyond. With Knoble largely liked backstage as an agent, and him getting some recent TV time, Vickie getting sick of him and sending him to ECW to fued with Punk could work.

When was the last time WWE did a dog collar match if ever?
-
Guess Extreme Expose is dead. I don't know, I don't watch ECW. They'll stick Eve in the group and act like nothing's changed. This could give some good drama for Miz/Kelly/Balls, with Miz pointing out he kicked Brooke out of ECW and that he can to the same to her.

A shame that since Booker's gone, there won't likely be a relationship between WWE and PWA. Having MVP's "brother" from Booker's fed, VIP (Victor Imperial Porter) appear at Survivor Series would be great way to debut him.

I didn't catch all of Raw, but is it assumed in kayfabe that the DX reunion next is one time only because Vince won't allow them to team afterward? Because otherwise I'm at a loss to understand why they can't just team together regularly considering they're both healthy and on the same show.

To quote the response from another forum regarding this news: "Does this game suck your dick too?"

Game Plan's had some solid staying power.

Lots of good stuff, (I actually liked Jazmine in this one) but the ending lines by Ed and Rummy just topped it off for me. "Thank you for not snitchiiiiiiiiing..." "Ya stupid motherfucker!" *laughs*

Iraq wants Blackwater out of the country BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki asked the U.S. State Department to "pull Blackwater out of Iraq," after an Iraqi probe concluded that the private contractors committed unprovoked and random killings in a September 16 shooting, an adviser to al-Maliki told CNN. A man bicycles past a car on September 20 that was damaged during the September 16 Blackwater shootings. Adviser Sami al-Askari told CNN the Iraqis have completed their investigation into the shooting at Nusoor Square in Baghdad. Al-Askari said the United States is still waiting for the findings of the American investigation, but al-Maliki and most Iraqi officials are "completely satisfied" with the findings of their probe and are "insisting" that Blackwater leave the country. U.S. Embassy spokeswoman Mirembe Natango told CNN by telephone that the Iraqi-U.S. joint commission met and is proceeding with its work on the matter. "We need to let the joint commission do its work," she said, adding that once the joint commission has finished, it will make policy recommendations. Blackwater CEO and founder Erik Prince has said the team was attacked and was defending itself at an intersection not far from the heavily guarded Green Zone on September 16. Seventeen Iraqis were killed, including women and children, and 27 were wounded, according to Iraqi officials. Prince told CNN Sunday that the guards did not commit "deliberate violence." "There was definitely incoming small arms fire from insurgents" he said on CNN's Wolf Blitzer on "Late Edition." The U.S. State Department and the FBI are investigating the incident. Survivors told harrowing stories of being shot at by the guards despite presenting no threat. The FBI has been in the process of speaking to the survivors. The first U.S. soldiers to arrive on the scene after the incident told military investigators they found no evidence contractors were fired upon, a source familiar with a preliminary U.S. military report told CNN. The soldiers found evidence suggesting the guards fired on cars attempting to leave and found weapon casings on the scene matching only those used by U.S. military and contractors, the military source said. But Prince on Sunday told CNN, "In the incident reports I've seen, at least three of our armored vehicles were hit by small arms fire, incoming, and one of them damaged, which actually delayed their departure from the traffic circle while they tried to rig a tow." A Philadelphia law firm has filed suit in federal court against Blackwater on behalf of the families of three Iraqis killed and one wounded in the in the incident, which occurred in and around Baghdad's Nusoor Square. The suit claims Blackwater "created and fostered a culture of lawlessness amongst its employees, encouraging them to act in the company's financial interests at the expense of innocent human life." No real surprise here.

Eh, Cyber Sunday doesn't strike me as the PPV where they'll change the WHC. They can easily do a bullshit finish via special ref and have Dave go against Edge at Survivor Series. Give Edge the title there or Armageddon and they can do an easy build with him vs Taker at Wrestlemania. If Batista needs something to do, turn and have him vs Rey around the same time.
