So with Edge in MITB and Punk likely beating Nitro when he faces him tomorrow night, who helps fill out MITB? Orton has to be in. They have nowhere else to stick him. Kane and/or Booker won't have anything to do so I wouldn't be surprised to see them either. With his recent involment with it, I can see Kennedy jumping to ECW for the sole purpose of winning a MITB qualifier and then talking about how he can't wait to leave the brand after he wins at Wrestlemania.

Maybe its because I was a fan of DDP's out of nowhere style delivery of the Cutter, but god I hate the pre-RKO posturing.

Guys like Perfect and Rude never mainevented because of guys like Hogan and Warrior and politics in general.......the fact that Warrior got a mainevent run while Perfect and Rude couldn't is pretty sad. WWE was not keen on having heels hold the title for long periods of time back in those days anyway. Savage was face for 80% of his reign, Andre was champ for 30 seconds, Slaughter had it for two months, ditto Flair. No real long term heel title run happened after Superstar Graham until Yoko in 93.

Oddly enough the other three men in the WM main events last year are all not wrestling at it this year.
-
Alright, Hennig. I see Heenan presenting and Larry the Ax accepting.
-
For some reason I see Kane/Khali at Mania just for the latter to have somebody mildly high profile to beat at WM.

Helm's loss makes London/Kendrick the longest reigning champions in WWE right now. Cena is the longest reigning singles champ.

Said appearing out of nowhere to shank Schillinger and Robson in the season 4 finale. "Adebisi lives."
-
It'd be cool if the last 4 guys in the cruiser invitational were Helms, Moore, Yang, and Noble just for a quasi Jung Dragons/3 Count showdown.

Have to go with the classic. Good balance of colors, and it seems to reperesent a company not a brand.
-
The Matt Classic match on the website is a must see. The mannierisms are a joy to watch as is his clear nervousness when going for a jump off the bottom (yes the bottom) rope. One of the announcers even busted out a Mosoon like line of "Classic dropping him like yesterday's newspaper."

Love that quote by Kaos. "Getting sent through a table... that shirt hurts!"

D2D's numbers are no surprise. Guess Cena wasn't quite as much of a draw for Armageddon as they had hoped.

There were so many inexperienced people in high positions in the CPA and such a lack of communication, I'm honestly surprised the amount wasn't more. Much of the money meant to rebuild to country went through so much bureaucratic red tape that it was barely being used, even a year after Bremer left.
-
If one gets the chance, check out Imperial Life in the Emerald City. Real eye opener regarding the CPA and some of Bremer's choices in post invasion Iraq. I wonder, if the Coalition Provisional Authority hadn't been so removed from the real Iraq, so naive, so much in a rush to turn the country into some neo-conservative economic paradise, how many people wouldn't have joined the insurgency, and how successful a post war Iraq could have been.

Talk about an ass-fucking.

Good to hear that Hassan music again. -
Has there been any word as to who will be with Vince in their corner? Shane with Khali felt somewhat natural with Hogan but not so much with Lashley.
-
I could have sworn Star Ocean posted that months back.

Funny, that this astronaut needed more space.

A bit later than I thought, but the turn came.

Kenny's odd resemblence to Owen is getting so obvious, I'm surprised they haven't stuck him large pants ala High Energy.

In Scott Hall's shoot with the Torch approx. 6 months ago he talks about how when he first pitched the Razor character Vince thought it was great and that he had never seen Scarface so he thought that Hall had come up with it himself. Russo, in his Wrestlecrap interview, stated that the Blond Bitch Project angle was canceled by Vince because he was convinced no one would understand what it was refrencing to, in spite of Russo pointing out it was one of the hottest movies that summer.
