Siskel and Ebert hate on Proestants

Saw this a few years ago on a DVD of celebrity outtakes. It also includes James Brown freaking out on LSD and Sly Stone allegedly on PCP on some talk show.

Well Shelton's proven himself to be fairly good, and what the hell, I'm an optimist.

I was also thinking something along those lines, and it would shure be wickedly awesome if they put together an Inter-promotional TLC match involving the Hardyz, London & Kendrick, and MNM for WrestleMania 23, possibly involving either Tag Titles (maybe both.) Of course that all depends on many factors, like if they want to keep any or all of those teams together until then, because two of those teams are not even together regularly or their members even on the same brand, and they've somewhat hinted at dissention between London & Kendrick. Oh well, I can still dream, can't I? Stick the WGTT in and you have a hell of a match.

    PlayStation 3

And the good news keeps coming for Sony MGS4 Rumored for Xbox 360, Is Konami forcing Kojima's hand? December 18, 2006 - With Microsoft's one-year-old console gaining a steady install base in North America and Europe, Konami executives have switched their positions on an outright Metal Gear Solid 4-PlayStation 3 exclusive, telling Hideo Kojima to bring the game to Xbox 360, says Electronic Gaming Monthly in its December issue. One year ago Konami's Hideo Kojima was quoted as saying that Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots was technically possible on Xbox 360. Now it's not only technically possible, it's perhaps financially feasible as well. EGM's rumor mill produced the short article and it's worth noting that no sources were supplied, no quotes were given, and no reasoning was provided behind the alleged move. It's pure rumor, one that Konami executives have refused to comment on or entertain in public since the game's announcement on PlayStation 3. When contacted today, Konami officials said "These are just rumors." Still, the notion that MGS4 could come to Xbox 360 makes a little more sense today than it did four months ago. Back then, we couldn't see the state of disarray that Sony was in. Now, with Sony's rough launch, limited unit numbers and high price tag, perhaps Konami executives are seeing how fiscally prudent an Xbox 360 version would be. That doesn't mean it is happening. It's still just a rumor; but one worth mulling over. The cons of such an argument are many. Sony and Konami are long-time partners. Metal Gear Solid 3 never came to Xbox, as MGS2 sold unimpressive numbers. But MGS4 is a technical showcase and a guaranteed system-mover for Sony. The series has been one of Sony's biggest weapons since MGS on PlayStation and even more so with MGS2 on PS2. Pundits and industry analysts say that Sony is working with Konami with both technical and financial means to keep the exclusive secure. But so what? Contracts have limits. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas came to Xbox, and GTA4 is coming day and date to Xbox 360 with the PS3 version. Other Japanese publishers are considering the weight of Xbox 360 and are shifting their own once-Sony exclusives to Xbox 360, too. (We'll have more on that later.) The most likely scenario, if this rumor has any legs to it, is that Konami has signed a contract with Sony restricting its port to another system for some time; as soon as the contract is up, MGS 4 will ship on Xbox 360. Will that be three, six or 12 months? If MGS4 is due for fall release on PS3 (no official date has been released), then count on a minimum of six months. In other words, if the rumor proves true, count on a 2008 release.

Two reasons I can think of. One, they want to individually spotlight each member of the team, hence they have it done one member at a time. Two, a one man conchairto is a lot harder to screw up than the E/C style, which at times didn't look like it connected that well.

Hey Kane finally won his specialty. He just needs 3 more wins and he'll have a winning record.
  19. From PWInsider.com Smackdown *Smackdown opens with WWE champion John Cena coming to the ring. Finlay and King Booker confront him. Batista makes the save. Smackdown General Manager Teddy Long comes out and rules Cena will wrestle Finlay in tonight's main event. *WWE Tag Team champions Paul London & Brian Kendrick & Jimmy Wang Yang defeated WWE Cruiserweight champion Gregory Helms & William Regal & Dave Taylor when Yang pinned Helms. Regal and Taylor walked off, leaving Helms alone and he was pinned Match was said to be OK. *Matt Hardy pinned Joey Mercury with the Twist of Fate in a short match, so it looks like Mercury is on the Smackdown brand now. *Ken Kennedy and MVP argue backstage but finally agree to work together to take out Kane and the Undertaker tonight. *A hearse is parked in the aisle leading to the ring. *The Undertaker and Kane vs. Ken Kennedy and MVP match results in a double countout. Undertaker and MVP brawl to the back. Kennedy gets in the hearse and teases running over Kane but the lights go out. When they come back on, Undertaker is inside the car with Kennedy who runs off and Kane does the situp. Crowd was really into the entire scenario. *Chavo Guerrero defeated Funaki. Guerrero said on the mic before the match that Chris Benoit owed Vicky Guerrero an apology. Benoit came out and watched the match. After Chavo won, Benoit attacked him and locked him in a Sharpshooter. Vicky slapped Benoit, who stares at her and leaves. *Vito pinned Sylvan with a rollup in a match that didn't get over with the live crowd. *The Miz comes out to eat "crazy foods" He ate what was said to be a pig's tongue and monkey brains (hey someone watched Indiana Jones and Temple of Doom over the weekend!) but balked at eating worms. He went to place the lid back on the pot of worms when Boogeyman popped out with a mouthful and Miz ran off. *WWE champion John Cena pinned Finlay. Booker and Batista ran in for post-match fun ECW *The announced main event is ECW champion Bobby Lashley vs. Paul Heyman's security in a Handicap match. *Killer Kowalski is in the front row behind the announcers. *Scheduled for later is CM Punk vs. Hardcore Holly. *Test defeated Rob Van Dam after holding onto the ropes when RVD attempted a sunset flip and sitting down. Said to have been a good match. *Matt Striker does an in-ring classroom segment where he insults Boston. Balls Mahoney comes out and nails Striker with a bunch of punches but is kicked low and left laying. *CM Punk defeated Hardcore Holly via DQ when Holly used excessive punches in the corner. Punk came back to lock on the Anaconda Vice. The crowd was said to have died when they did the finish. *Tommy Dreamer comes out and challenges the Great Khali. Daivari answers the challenge. Dreamer wins in 2 minutes but Khali attacks Dreamer and chokeslams him on the floor. *ECW champion Bobby Lashley defeated Heyman's Security with the Dominator and attacked them with a nightstick after the match. Looked like they were being blown off as characters. Edit: Well the title looks redundant now, but whatever.

I see Khali getting the "big and tall monster who everyone quickly turns on and eliminates as a group" spot in the Rumble.

SD & ECW spoilers for the 12/15 & 12/16 airings

Booking plans for ECW have completely frozen at this point. This is clearly a fallout card from the PPV, and outside doing some more mix and match contests with guys from the Elimination Chamber, they need new programs soon, especially with Lashley.

Wait, so Batista isn't breaking the streak? Well I do prefer that, even though Batista/Taker would work better at the Rumble or even No Way Out anyway.

    Elephant

I saw this and it was just walking and long periods of silence, weather changes and two boring characters that you won't care about past the first 10 minutes. Supposedly the FPS shooter the kids are playing in Elephant refrences that, with them killing characters resembling Damon and Affleck's.

The WWE Armageddon press conference on WWE.com must be seen. Booker is his usual good self, but Finlay is great. List of things he does: Comes out to a remixed theme, now starting with "Settle things like men" Bitchslaps Josh Matthews for not saying he deserves a title shot. Yells at Benoit for claiming to be the best technical wrestler. Screams and threatens a fat fan in the front row. Tells Kane he hopes he burns to death. Refuses to recognize Booker as king become he doesn't rule over him. When Batista asks in his session "Who's a tough son of a bitch?" he stands up, with his hands raised. And my favorite, chews out Chavo for kissing the ring of a man he's not loyal to.
