Kennedy Challenges Undertaker for Survivor Series Guess that takes either one out of the Raw vs. SD vs. ECW match.

Wait, what? Its true. If you check out Have a Nice Day, it tells a story during his early career about how a promoter was talking with him about his Cactus Jack gimmick. He asks Foley where he's from, and he responds with Bloomington. Promoter says that the home town won't work kayfabe wise so they bill him from Truth or Consequences. Not that it has perfect credibility, but Wikipedia has Bloomington listed as well. I remember him saying that in Have a Nice Day....Didnt he just stammer a town because the ring announcer asked where Cactus Jack would be from? If someone can find some evidence that disproves it, I certainly won't object, but I could have sworn (from sources years ago I've since forgotten) that he was indeed from Bloomington.

Piper wins a WWE title for the first time in 14 and a half years.

From an IGN article shortly after E3 A certain section says this: Even better, the game will be fully online playable in addition to featuring a robust multiplayer mode. "My plan is to include Wi-Fi connection compatibility and online functionality. One of the primary reasons Super Smash Bros. Brawl was created was that Nintendo, when taking Wii online, wanted to have Smash Bros. to do that," added Sakurai. Looks confirmed to me.

IGN has some more legends up. Other than music and entrance moves, Dude Love's a bit lousy. No sweet shin music finisher and is unfortunately introduced from Long Island . If they really wanted to make it different they should have had Dude from Truth or Consequences, Cactus from Long Island, Mankind from the boiler room or parts unknown, and Foley from his legit home town of Bloomington, Indiana. Perfect is also up. Has the towel toss in his entrance but no sign of gum swat. I hold out hope its in his pre-match pose video. Shane is rated too high at 85. Piper's entrance isn't too bad, though I wished they went with the pre-87 short hair. Eddie looks very similar to last year.

I often wonder if a floating title (ala the Undisputed and Women's Championships back in 2002) could work today with three brands. Not as a major championship mind you, but a mid-card belt, maybe the "World Television Championship" that moves from one brand to another (Raw, SD, and ECW in that order) every thirty days and must be defended at least once on that paticular show. At the very least it could give the mid-carders something to do and provide for some potential build-ups like a heel winning the belt on the last week its on a show, so the babyface they're fueding with has to wait two months before he can get his hands on him. Wouldn't bring in huge ratings or anything, but I can see it helping out the undercard.

From a purely interest standpoint they need to establish more episodic booking, including something different from the cliche of unlikely tag partners teaming with JR/Cole screaming "how are they going to coexist?!" WWE seems to be relying on the same, "what's this going to mean next week" and/or "what will so-and-so's payback be next week". The same kind of hollow questions that suggest the company for real and kayfabe doesn't know what the hell is going on. As cheesy as it comes across, the cliffhanger model (ie someone in the middle of a move as the show ends, a showdown or discovery at the end) would do a far better job of getting people to want to see the payoff. The announcers or hype people shouldn't be asking the questions, the audience should.

From PWInsider Dark Match: Gymini defeated Funaki & Scotty 2 Hotty. ECW: Paul Heyman announced that Rob Van Dam wants his title match with Big Show at the December To Dismember PPV. But, Heyman says the title shot will be part of an Elimination Chamber with four other wrestlers, thus screwing RVD out of his one-on-one match. Sabu defeated Kevin Thorn. Daivari, with Great Khali, defeated Shannon Moore. Trinity beat Ariel and Kelly in a Costume contest. Mike Knox and CM Punk had a confrontation afterwards. Test & Big Show defeated Hardcore Holly & Rob Van Dam after Paul Heyman in a Gorilla suit (no, I am not kidding) knocked out Holly, leaving RVD alone to lose. Smackdown: Rey Mysterio came out on crutches, which brought out Chavo & Vickie Guerrero. Chavo beats up Rey and Chris Benoit makes the save. Theodore R. Long told Batista he wants him to protect King Booker because of rumors that Raw and ECW guys might attack him to weaken him for Cyber Sunday. Brian Kendrick & Paul London defeat Idol Stevens & KC James. Kane & Undertaker defeated Ken Kennedy & MVP by countout, but Long makes the match continue and Kennedy hits Kane low for a DQ. Long makes the match continue as a no-DQ bout and Undertaker pins Kennedy with a tombstone. The Miz & Kristal defeated Vito & Layla. Boogeyman comes out and gets Kristal again. Gregory Helms defeated Jimmy Wang Yang. Bobby Lashley defeated Jamie Noble. Tatanka did a promo afterwards. Batista gets King Booker to his limo, despite ECW and Raw undercard guys trying to attack him. Long asks Batista what he wants in return, and he says a match with Finlay. Batista defeated Finlay in a No DQ match. Daivari now wrestling=good Khali back on TV=bad

"Adorable" Adrian Adonis prepares for Mr. Wonderful Maybe its Adonis' delivery, the context of time, or the fact that we've seen the likes of even "gayer" characters (Billy and Chuck, Goldust, and Rico), but his stuff seems pretty tame to me.

Apparently Randy figures since he emulated Ron Garvin's title reign he might as well emulate his moveset. -

Given what we know about King's taste in females, he was on that shit back in like 93. -

One that coincidentally involved Booker. Of course his voted opponent Sting got beaten up by Goldberg and they had that match instead, but hey at least WCW tried. -

Ah, the same main event three weeks in a row. I'm getting Austin/nWo flashbacks from 2002. -

Edge looks like he's wearing invisiline braces to me for some reason. So birthday cake in Edge's face or DX ambush from big gift box? -
The title of princess is less presumptuous than queen.

Opening Intro to Hotel Mario Damn you CDI... damn you.

Given his roots and where he's actually from I can see "Canadian Bulldog" Harry Smith being used. For some reason I also see him going against Jamie Knoble in a "Bulldog vs Pitbull" fued, with a Dog Collar match occuring at some point.

Would have been better if it was prefaces by Bischoff saying "This message will be brought to you by... KANE!"

Gacy, Dahmer, and Bundy as the murderous three stooges is awesome in every way possible.

In regards to that it would be interesting to see a U.S. title scene with a bunch of psuedo international talent going for it: Finlay, Regal, Tatanka, Benoit, Chavo, and Lashley.

Even if I didn't read the news, and didn't know about if before hand, this show has Russo's fingerprints all over it.
