With the goatee, Masters really should have gone with the alternate universe gimmick, explaining he comes from a world where Bischoff won and WCW is split up into the Nitro and Thunder brands and they just started their new third brand... the AWA.

I love this fucking crowd.
-
I suppose this was inevitable. I love it nonetheless.

I have to believe someone there will have a "I Miss Hassan" equivalent. For me "How's the pay, Orton?" would be fine. I am curious if "No airplane spins tonight?" would get in or not.

The HD Experiment's beginning WWE goes HD By Jen Hunt September 8, 2006 This Sunday, WWE will conduct it's first full blown high-definition test when it tapes a SmackDown live event at Mohegan Sun Arena completely in HD. The event won't be televised, but will be closely watched and analyzed by WWE executives, including Mr. McMahon, as many variables will be explored. "High-definition television has a different aspect ratio," Senior Vice President of Television Operations Mike Grossman told WWE.com. "The screen is wider than standard definition television, so we want to see how that widescreen aspect ratio effects what we see on the screen. It's a very vivid image and the Superstars will be very vivid." Several other aspects of production that would be effected by going HD will be experimented with as well. "We're actually going to have a makeup artist that has experience in HD," said Grossman. "They use airbrushing techniques as opposed to traditional makeup. But we also need to see how our lighting is affected, how pyro translates to hi def… And then there's audio. When we make the move to HD we'll be broadcasting and recording in 5.1 surround sound so we'll be playing with that too." Sunday's test is just one step in the transition process to recording and distributing content in HD. The transition will require tens of millions of dollars of upgrades in equipment and a minimum of three years to complete. However, if everything goes well Sunday, WWE fans may be able to start enjoying their favorite Superstars like never before. "We can provide HD content, [but] our broadcast partners have not migrated to a true HD platform as of yet," explained Vice President of Event Technical Operations Duncan Leslie. "The first way our fans could see our content in HD [might be] through home video on DVDs." By 2009, all television broadcasts will be migrated to a digital format. While it will be a long and costly process, WWE is excited about the opportunities this presents. "There's an excitement about it because it is a challenge," said Leslie. "One thing that we're really good at is changing and upgrading and pushing the envelope. We're going to do HD like no one else has ever done it, just like we do everything else. I'm sure there will be techniques that we employ that will be copied. From that perspective, it's a challenge to do it better than anyone else."

An update on Trish's fiance from the Wrestlecrap boards, apparently she's known this guy for some time. Check out her prom photo:

Dark match Henry Godwinn b Bull Buchanan - terrible match Smackdown has a new open Finlay b Mysterio clean in the middle with the emerald frosien. JBL started saying Mysterio was a failure and a loser and Mysterio walked away like it got to him. Kennedy b ? (not sure who it was). They teased the idea of Kennedy vs. Cena when Cena comes over, but that's a red herring. They did announce Undertaker vs. Kennedy on 10/7, which tells you how far in the doghouse Terkay has fallen London & Kendrick & Ashley b K.C. James & Idol Stevens & Michelle McCool when Kendrick pinned James King Booker b Batista when Finlay hit Batista with the shilleleigh Bobby Lashley b William Regal The Miz b Matt Hardy when Gregory Helms interfered Chavo Guerrero b Tatanka with a frog splash These sound like they're finished, if not out of order, but if there's an update I'll post it.

Well according to wikipedia, the game takes place in 1984, so unless it does a flash forward at some point, I'm guess the character will likely be alive at the end of it.

Some slightly more detailed spoilers. Mr. Ken Kennedy faced some guy named Dave Richardson I think. The guy and his kicks sucked and this match was a squash. Kennedy did some mic work about being a top tier titan and called out John Cena if he were to come to Smackdown and even challenged The Undertaker for a shot at his title at No Mercy. The Hulliganz and Ashley defeated James, Stevens and McCool. Okayish matchup with the babyface team botching a lot but still getting the win. Chavo Guerrero fought Tatanka and won. he Miz beat Matt Hardy with The Mizard of Oz after Gregory Helms' underhanded deception. This Miz guy is such a great heel because he is like a hate-able version of John Cena without talent. Backstage stuff with MVP. Lashley beat Regal in a match that resembled something from WCW Nitro or NOAH. Jimmy Wayne Yang promo aired where he showed the fine art of Southern Hospitality. CW advertisement hype infomercial. Finlay beat Rey easily. Rey seemed out of it during the entire match. King Booker defeated Batista when Finlay hit Batista with the shillelagh. New stip says Batista can't challenge Booker one on one again.

GTA: Vice City Stories trailer Like the use of music in the trailer.

That tag match made me change the channel to FSU-Miami. Retards vs Vikings vs Hillbillies is a snoooze fest. That's not nice to say about Viscera or Haas. Well definitely not Haas anyway.

Oh, boy...
-
Coincidently, Crazy's role on Raw will likely mirror Tajiri's.
-
Way to waste Crazy on Raw.
-
I too wish I could get that announcer on my videos to use against my enemies.
-
That can't end well.

Billy Krotchsen sent the following Smackdown spoilers from Reading, PA. These spoilers are joined in progress, so there may be segments missing from earlier in the evening: Dark Match: *Funaki defeated Sylvan. Smackdown: *Chavo Guerrero and Vicki Guerrero came out to explain themselves. Rey Mysterio came out. Vicki told Rey she was tired of all the fighting but Rey would never be a Guerrero and slapped him. Vicki walked out while Rey was left crying. Smackdown: *Matt Hardy defeated WWE Cruiserweight champion Gregory Helms in what was presumably a non-title match. *In a backstage segment, Teddy Long made a match between Finlay and Ken Kennedy for later tonight. *The Miz pinned Tatanka with his feet on the ropes. *Ken Kennedy captured the WWE United States championship, defeating Finlay and Bobby Lashley. Teddy Long announced that Bobby Lashley was added to the match, making it a Triple Threat match. Kennedy pinned Lashley, hooking the tights. *A contract signing between WWE World champion King Booker and Batista is slated for later on. *MVP is now sitting ringside with two women. *Vito defeated William Regal by countout when he put the dress over Regal and his Lordship fled the ring. *They do a backstage vignette with Jimmy Wang Yang talking about being a redneck. *Michael Cole interviews MVP, who claims he can beat anyone from Smackdown, once he's given the right contract offer from Teddy Long. He says the crowd doesn't deserve to see him and leaves with his girls in tow. *WWE tag Team champions Paul London and Brian Kendrick defeat The Pitbulls. KC James and Idol Stevens attack the champions. Pitbulls join in and both teams leave London and Kendrick down. *WWE World champion King Booker and Batista have a contract signing and each discuss their match at No Mercy. Batista hits a spinebuster through a table to end the show. Completely updated.

This emphasis on wrestling and building up real feuds in the divisions is downright bizarre in comparison to Raw.
-
JBL=Awesome. JBL: Oh, so when Haku was King it was fictional? When Harely Race won it, it was fictional? When Bret Hart was king it was in his head? *comment about Hart* Cole: Did you ever win it? JBL: I wasn't in it. Cole: You were never in the King of the Ring? JBL: *quickly and quietly* Okay I was in one year, I lost to Jake Roberts.
-
Love that Apron catch.
-
Yup. Has before as well when he said Long was racist for putting Booker in a match against Lashley.
-
Would it kill the bookers to have a heel, face, tweener, anybody start a feud with Cena because he says The Marine sucks? Its more believable than have every single piece of the talent put this movie over.
-
Great Terry Taylor reference. JBL: He looks like the Red Rooster and that stooge sucked.
