    OAO Raw Thread - July/3rd/2006.

If just to build the idea that anything can happen at SNME and hopefully get better ratings in the future. Besides we haven't had a world title change on Raw in 5 years. RVD or no I can't see them changing that.

    OAO Raw Thread - July/3rd/2006.

Should we expect a "I got busted" caption by DX on RVD?
  3. BorneAgain

    OAO Raw Thread - July/3rd/2006.

This actually would have mattered on Smackdown

Exactly where this leading PPV wise? Unless we're getting Harry Smith showing up and beating the shit out of one of DX I don't see the point of this going into Summerslam.

    OAO Raw Thread - July/3rd/2006.

I can't imagine why anyone would want to watch that wrestling garbage on Smackdown and not this sports entertainment.

    OAO Raw Thread - July/3rd/2006.

Was the Clowns vs. Kings match a 4 on 4 or 5 on 5? The former.

    OAO Raw Thread - July/3rd/2006.

Doane's a given. Who are the other two?
  9. BorneAgain

    OAO Raw Thread - July/3rd/2006.

This has to be the first actual 10 man tag Spirit Squad's ever actually been in. vs. all the guys who've done nothing for the past six months.

    OAO Raw Thread - July/3rd/2006.

Other than her obvious botch-ness, why doesn't Lita wrestle anymore? Its been almost a year since NYR injury, so what's up?
  11. BorneAgain

    OAO Raw Thread - July/3rd/2006.

Does RVD lose both belts tonight or a double pin scenario?

    OAO Raw Thread - July/3rd/2006.

Raw really needs to bring back Tim White as the "Where's My Kayak" character to react to all the big announcements on the show. White: Wait, wait, wait, DX is banned from the building?! This can't be! There's no reason to live! Where's my kayak?! *Runs off to get his kayak*

RVD and Sabu arrested for drugs

Look at this way, at least they didn't breach kayfabe like Duggan and Sheik back in 87.

So long Rob Van Dam World Heavyweight Title reign. It was nice while it lasted.
  15. JBL is still trying to get it just right. During stuff with Londob/Kendrick, Lashley, and especially Booker he's great and adds a great deal. It'll take some time to get where he needs to be but he's shown tremendous apptitude for the position already.

    The Youtube Thread

Interesting, if not outright bizarre, avant garde look at the Von Erich family in 7 parts. Part 3

    OAO Raw Thread - July/3rd/2006.

Smackdown is being taped before this Raw correct?
  18. Well Eddie jobbed to Rey, what six times last year and he got a title shot at Batista so its not too much of a stretch.
  19. Ah to have this blurring on Raw and ECW.
  20. According to wikipedia he's held it 152 days, behind Tajiri's 162. Sweet, old school promo in picture!
  21. Nice to see an actual cruiser angle develop. Edit: "Hobos in a cage!" Nice.

Best match you saw in person

Austin-Angle on Raw, October 2001 or Yung Dragons vs. Knoble/Karagias at WCW Sin. I haven't seen the latter in years so its hard to remember which was better now.
