Interview with JR. Will Chavo: A: Have a calm rational talk where he reveals deep character motivation, leading to push? B: Give Ross the mandible claw? C: Set Ross on fire? D: Start stuttering? E: Announce he now represents upper-class chinese as Kung Yellow? edit: Well I'll be damned it was (possibly) A.

I shudder to think what John Cena's going to do after the announce The Marine.

This is the flimsietst excuse for a match since Jericho's hot coffee.
-
I have to agree with RD Reynolds on this one. There should always be a seperation of church and ring.

Nice, crowd shitting on the segment.

Heh, just saw a preview for the episode this week with the return of... Towelie. (On Oprah) I wonder about the inevitable Cruise bashing that is likely to come.

Incredible. A great message on free speech and a shot at Family Guy too. Best episode since Fun With Weapons.

I fucking love Matt and Trey. Parodying their own two-parters. Bringing up real criticism of South Park. Turning Bart Simpson into a swearing son of bitch. Hell, even pointing out why some people like Family Guy. Great shit.

Additional spoilers from Observer Dark match/Velocity Ken Kennedy came out and was welcomed by a ton of cheers especially when he announced that he was from Green Bay, WI. Lots of Kennedy chants. But at the end of the promo he said that he relocated to Minnesota, so of course he can keep his heat. Tatanka def Nunzio Simon Dean def Adrian Lynch Jamie Noble & Kid Kash def Funaki & Scotty 2 hotty (Kash hit the brainbuster for the win) Vito def Colt Cabana (but i think they announced him as Chris Guy) Lots of Colt Cabana chants actually. Smackdown They opened with the King of the Ring crown, cape, and throne in the ring. Booker T comes down and says how he's gonna beat everyone. He trys on the crown and cape, some pretty funny dancing and stuff from Booker T, but then Lashley comes down for the spear. Brian Kendrik def Johnny Nitro with a roll up pin. Paul London who was at ringside had a nice dive onto Joey Mercury. Melina definately looked good tonight. Paul Birchill def Rahard Brown aka the Skullkrusher via the Sea-4 in a squash. Some funny stuff with Regal dressed up as a wench. Matt Hardy def The Road Warrior in a really short match. Hardy had to do the 'twist of fate' twice because he slipped the first time. JBL def Chris Benoit in a cage match for the US title. Very good match. Some good high spots off the cage. Benoit hit his diving head BUTT and also got a pretty cool suplex off the top onto JBL. JBL hit Benoit with a low blow and escaped. Pretty long match, but it was definatley good. Dalip Singh who is now known as the Great Sahni (i'm pretty sure that's what it is but i'm not sure) came out with Daivari for a promo. Dalip actually got on the mic and shouted something that no one could understand. It was actually kinda funny. Gymini def the Mexicools I'm surprised they let them go over in a short match. Angle def Orton Pretty good match also. Orton took a suplex to the outside, a pretty cool bump. Angle wins via the Ankle Lock, and refuses to break the hold after the match. He then walks away, but then applies the ankle lock again. He leaves, but then comes back for a third time to put the ankle lock on Orton. Orton sold the ankle and kept shouting that his leg was broken. I guess that's how they'll explain his absence. Their were some "you're suspended" chants, but i'm not sure if they come up on TV or if they'll edit it out. Dark match Rey def Angle and Mark Henry in a cage match. It was supposed to be Orton, but Henry took his place so he could sell the leg injury. Pretty short match. Rey celebrated on top of the cage and the show ended. I wonder if Angle will be punished for breaking Orton's ankle and not advance, letting Booker (or Hardy I suppose) get a bye like I suggested in the KOTR thread.

So, Edge and Cena team next week, FU on HHH, but Edge spears him and pins Hunter for himself? -

I had pondered that they might go this way with it, but I figured creative would go another way. -

A thumb to the neck is the next big submission move. Still better than the Master Lock. -

This has to be up there with the Batista/Goldust/Vader segment in regards to the surrealist moment in Raw history. -

Pair Coach with both the Squad and Shelton, and everybody would improve. -

This fued needs an actual face like Raw needs actual tag teams. -
Any chance of a double elimination in this tournament? I can see a double dq or double countount for Angle/Orton allowing Booker to get a bye (I don't see a point of feuding with Boogeyman as he's injured plus it seems more he's in conflict with Teddy Long more than anybody) to the finals, likely against Lashley. From there you could put over Lash or have Booker cheat to win and then eventually have Booker put over the rookie at Judgement Day. I really want to see Booker and Sharmell do something with the "king" gimmick.

I'm not even sure there was an official ceremony that year, as much as they announced it on Raw once.

I have to say, that this episode at least seemed tamer than what I was expecting. I watch Family Guy, and other that the remark how it isn't funny I agreed with pretty much everything said. The jokes are for the most part interchangable, its not based on character like South Park, nor is the humor like Matt and Trey's at all. And honestly, Matt and Trey (potshots aside) were really using the show to represent South Park and their problems with censorship, and how its worth fighting for. I think the South Park fandom has been way more harsh to the show than this episode was. Of course next week could be a different story. Overall, much better than what I was expecting, largely because the whole episode wasn't a dick waving contest to show how much better they are than Family Guy.

Well I'll be damned, a two-parter. Nice shot at Comedy Central at the end too.
