Cowboy Bob Orton ran in dressed up as a fan and distracted Taker allowing Randy to hit the RKO.

He'll be escorted by his new bodyguard, Isaac Yankem DDS <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not if he's returning to lead the invasion.

You forgot about the invitational with no time limit, that ended up being less than five minutes anyway.

Asshole chants during the State of the Union Address?
-
Matt was busted open and Edge was kicking him in the head real hard so the ref stopped it <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So no contest or Edge wins via ref's decision?

What was the ending to the match?

That's what should have happened at the Bash. edit: caggabeboy will be happy.

If Hassan the character ever comes back it has to be at the Rumble simply because most wouldn't see it coming.

Predicted match order by me. Eugene-Angle US Title Match Edge-Hardy Taker-Orton Cena-Jericho Eddie-Rey Batista-JBL Hogan-HBK The last two might switch.
-
Well that was certainly worth the heat time slot.

Considering the sheer amount of talent left off this card (Shelton, Booker, Christian, Regal, London, Nunzio, Mexicools, MNM, Big Show, Carlito, Kerwin) is anybody else dissapointed that Masters-Hurricane was the best heat match they could come up with? edit: It just occured to me that Raw has all fresh matches, while Smackdown's are all rematches from Wrestlemania or the Bash. Pretty telling.

It is interesting to think about how much the wrestling world be different had WCW survived. Ones I can think of: -No Invasion -No WWE Brand Split -No TNA -No Flair, Mysterio, Booker, Chavo, Hurricane, etc in WWE, at least not for some time. Quite a different landscape we would have now.

Hardy/Edge rematch isn't out of the question. Shawn will be facing... somebody. Though the face list is paticularly small right now. I myself wouldn't mind him vs. Shelton, though given the latter's recent push into the mid-card, its unlikely. RVD's due back soon so if Carlito's still champion by then I'l expect a match between the two. They seem to be moving toward Big Show-Masters, which could keep going post SS. Truth be told they're more than a little hurt on talent. HHH and Flair are gone till October, Jericho's taking a break after the PPV, Hulk's match at Summerslam is a one-shot deal, and no one seems to know (or care) when Kane will come back.

NOTHING can de-black Shelton than that comment. Hell, he could come out as Kerwin White II and still wouldn't be as de-blacked as he was during that 5 seconds. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> what was the comment? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Upon being asked by Bischoff how it sounded that he was in a handicap match against Chris Masters and Gene Snitsky Shelton: It sounds like your breath smells: It stinks.

HHH and Ric Flair's return date to TV announced
BorneAgain replied to algrim's topic in The WWE Folder
That doesn't make any sense. Cena is over with people who watch the product. Saying he's not over with people who don't watch doesn't work, because you could say that about everyone. Read the live reports. Cena usually gets the biggest pops and the biggest merch seller. You can hide someone's flaws if you book him correctly. Bookers have been doing that for years. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Bookers flaws were (and have been) exposed for quite some time now. WCW Booker can make this argument work. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think he means bookers as in writers not Booker T. -
Was Kurt Angle hurt by losing to Booker T? No. And in regards to 2001, Booker should have been put on the same level as the WWF guys as he was one of the few people from WCW in the invasion who WWF fans were familar with, and thus should have been made a threat. And I can't see Booker turning heel. He's retiring in two years, plus he turned face less than a year ago. Turning him now would be a bit pointless. Besides which, he's always been best as a face anyway.

We're going to have a "Custody for Dominic "match at Summerslam aren't we? And either Eddie loses yet again or the angle is blown off with Eddie becoming Dominic's new father. How the hell is this supposed to be resolved?
-
Still too many "smart" references but at least it doesn't have him wishing death on Adam Copeland. Not bad.
-
To be fair, the titles that Animal and Heidenreich only date back to september 2002. Its still a fucking weak excuse for a tribute though.

This has to be the return of Larry Fling Live and the Huckster!
