For the record, Booker did have a good to great match with Cena on Smackdown as part of the # 1 contenders tournament in February. As for the rest, while I do believe Booker is not as good as he was 7 or even 5 years ago, I would attest a great deal of that to age and injuries. Is he unmoitivated at points? Yes, and though that hardly justifies it, I do understand why he is. Booker is still capable of putting on at least a good match in my opinon. My issue is not really that he is some wrestling god now, but that he has not been a "marginal peformer at best" his entire career like your statement seems to imply. Plus when you look back, Trips was really at his worst point wrestling wise by Wrestlemania 19, on a title reign that no one really wanted to see. I highly doubt there would have been some great outcry by either smarts or marks had Booker won the title there especially when one considers how many people were expecting that and really didn't have a problem with it. My bottom line is that a title win there would have been nothing but postive.

You did watch Raw in 2002 right? You know that thing about Booker and Goldust having great backstage skits, putting on good matches, and being the only guys worth watching most of the time. Or with Booker basicallly being a great singles performer after he left Harlem Heat as well as over, and only really getting worse after he was shafted at WM 19? Marginal wrestler at best, give me a break.

Somebody's a little too touchy about Smackdown. He's not bad, Jesus. I'm not really seeing the problem with keeping him in the main event scene. Shouldn't we in theory have many people going for the world title? He's no worse than someone like Big Show.

Its always in the last place you look.

Carlito is a drug cartel gatster? I thought he was an arrogant dude from the Carribean with a fruit fetish.... Yeah, the best I can tell Carlito's only real gimmick is that he's a Puerto Rican prick with a tendency to spit apples and humilate people.
-
I base many of the shirts I wear on what they on the front, and the third one could pass as a non wrestling shirt provided no one saw the back. If the fourth one didn't have Carlito's head on it, I would consider buying it.
-
The third one is least offensive to my tastes so I'll go with that one.

Well, he did promise he would show the world the real Heidenreich, so who knows?

Hmm, they seem to be pushing towards Booker-Angle based on these, so I'm guessing they feud after JBL wins the deciding matchup for the tournament, probably culminating at Judgement Day. I have to say if that's the case, I look forward to it.

The best win loss record in the WWE continues.

I know this is a typo.... but I now have this scary image of current HHH defending the World Heavyweight Championship against 1998 DX HHH. Technically its not. Hunter Hearst Helmsley vs. Hollywood Hulk Hogan

Do you think he should re-feud with Angle? I hate to play Anglesault's advocate here, but considering the last time these two were wrestling each other it featured HHH pulling down Angle's tights and slapping his thong-laden ass, I'm in no hurry to seem them in the ring again.

Huh?? I remember Nowinski teaming with her and saying that he was going to bust Molly's cherry and Regal getting on Nowinski about chasing after Molly. Was the angle suppose to lead to some kind of rape storyline? Who knows where it was supposed to lead. WWE just forgot about it one day and stuck Nowinski in the Hardcore division. Strange that had they kept him doing that angle and not go to the Hardcore division its possible Nowinski would still be around today as he wouldn't have gotten that concussion that more or less ended his career.
-
Tonight, In This Very Ring didn't seem too useless or moronic to me, so I guess its just up to your tastes.
-
Guess you can take Molly off that list, and possibly Victoria soon.
-
Wasn't the Women's title interbrand originally?
-
Considering all the shit Molly's had to put up with the past couple of years, (the fatass nonsense, granny panty bullshit, her head getting shaved) its a shame she was never really rewarded or featured by the company in any serious way. Hopefully she'll be able to have a better career elsewhere.

Shelton should at least hold on to the IC title for another month just so he can break Orton's streak as champion. Actually if they had him hold on to it until Vengance (June 26) he could break Rock's streak, which in my opinion could give Shelton some real legitimacy. I mean, longest running IC champion in 17 years sounds pretty damn impressive.

Guess this is another reason to get the Wrestlemania 21 DVD: To see Rhyno's last match.

I still stand by my belief that both the regular WWE US Title and the Cena version are still better than the REALLY old version where the front plate was shaped like the Continental US. WCW U.S. Title>WWE US Title, Cena's US Title, "Continental" US Title.

I like this. Maybe even have Lilian Garcia/Tony Chimmel refuse to announce him to the ring and when he does wrestle in the first few months the WWE officials have an obvious bias against him, but since everybody in the company (including the commentaters) despise him, there's nothing he can do.

Hmmm, with JBL beating Rey, and Angle facing Guerrero, I suppose we'll get Booker-Show in two weeks. I'm curious as to how they settle the # 1 contender issue after that. If its Triple threat we got four possiblities: JBL-Show-Angle (unlikely as we just saw it at the Rumble) JBL-Booker-Guerrero (The Guerrero/Mysterio feud will begin soon and I can see Rey accidently causing Eddie to lose here) JBL-Show-Guerrero (see above) JBL-Booker-Angle (Since Bradshaw's obviously going to main event Judgement Day, this could be an oppurtunity to spawn a Booker-Angle feud, something we haven't seen since the Invasion era)

For about a year actually. Late August 99 to September 2000.

WCW Sin? Well actually I was referring to the WWE, but yes we did have Sin here. Pretty good crowd too, not that it was released on tape so anyone could see it or anything.
