    Your wrestler biases

We all have are leanings towards certain workers more than others, often for logical and sometimes illogical reasons. This can include guilty pleasures and obviously talented wrestlers who you dislike for some reason. Which biases do you have? One major thing that prevents me from sometimes enjoying a wrestler's work is when I feel they didn't or do not deserve the push they get. I wasn't able to get into Lesnar for a while simply because I thought he didn't warrant the main event spot he had, but I was eventually able to get over it and start watching his stuff. Same thing during the early JBL and though I still don't think he should have the title, now I'm amused by his gimmick and consider him an entertaining part of Smackdown.

I get the feeling that everyone who lost on Raw will get their wins back, at least with Orton/HHH anyway.

    Armageddon Buyrate

Sorry to get off topic, but what would Angle be doing at No Way Out? I know your plan is HBK/Angle at WM, but who is he supposed to face in Febuary? Moreover, would Eddy face JBL at Wrestlemania?

    RAW Ratings

Or the 3 team of.... Bobby Heenan...Eric Bischoff....and that over dude who had that dog with him... That guy with the dog would be Steve "Mongo" McMichael, widely considered one of the worst announcers in WCW (or any wrestling promotion really) ever. Also looked at as one of the worst Horsemen as well, with maybe only Paul Roma being worse.

Historic Nights (Both Sides) On the Monday Wars

(Edited for Chris) September 5, 1995: The war begins. May 27, 1996: Scott Hall appears on Nitro. November 10, 1997: "Bret Screwed Bret" graces the Raw airwaves. November 17, 1997: Rick Rude appears on both Raw and Nitro. December 22, 1997: The nWo Nitro experiment fails, with Raw winning in the 9:00-10:00 hour for the first time in months, a sign of things to come. April 13, 1998: Raw snaps the streak. July 6, 1998: Goldberg defeats Hollywood Hogan for the WCW title. It is one of the last major Nitro victories. September 14, 1998: Ric Flair makes a long awaited return to Nitro to a standing ovation by the Greenvile, SC fans. November 2, 1998: Raw's streak begins, one they hold onto for the rest of the war. January 4, 1999: "That'll put butts in the seats" rings true as thousands of fans switch from Nitro to Raw to see Mick Foley win the WWF Title. The Fingerpoke of Doom later that night starts to spell the end for WCW. May 24, 1999: Raw is Owen. October 18, 1999: The first Nitro under Vince Russo (one that not suprisingly resembles Raw) airs. January 31, 2000: The Radicals debut on Raw. April 10, 2000: Nitro's relaunch draws decent ratings, but WCW is unable to follow up in subsequent weeks. March 26, 2001: The war ends.

Regarding the Heidenreich/Heyman vs Taker match. Tazz: This match should be just as good as Eddie/Mysterio was at the beginning of Smackdown.

    SMACKDOWN! Thread

They should have had JBL frame Angle for stealing Big Show's Corn Pops. At the very least it would have saved us the sight of Kurt in his underwear. Probably would have taken less time too.

Hmm, I suppose so, though why Angle needed to be in his underwear and Luther and Jindrak needed to be beaten up again, I'll never understand.

    Live Smackdown Report

Odd that the Bashams are being booked like a somewhat effective tag team while Jindrak and Reigns appear ineffective and sometimes incompetent on seemingly every show.

Wait a minute, is Doug fighting RVD or Booker? *Slaps forehead* Other than the Rey-Eddie match, this show brings a new meaning to the term pointless.

The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread

I wonder if blowing a vampire's head off with a gun would actually kill it? I don't think we ever saw anyone do that in the history of either show.

The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread

This reminds me of one my favorite moments in Season 1. *During the Darla-Buffy fight in Angel* Buffy aims a bow at Darla. Darla: Hmm, scary. *Pulls out two pistols* Scarier! Funny, how this is one of the few times we see a vampire use an actual gun.

Official Royal Rumble 05 Entrance List

There's still Cena, Eddie, Booker, RVD, Mysterio for the Rumble. And for RVD, if you go by the reaction that he had tonight, then you could tell that he was a star in those people's eyes. That is unless of course they foolishly put RVD/Rey in a tag match and leaven them out of the Rumble as well, which with WWE booking is entirely possible. As for Undertaker/Heidenreich, whoever wins it will likely go on to the Rumble IMO, likely a late number.

The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread

Darla was not killed in the first episode, and in fact she didn't even encounter him in it. Darla was orginally supposed to get killed by Willow in the Bronze, but Joss decided to keep her around until the "Angel" episode later, when she was killed by him.

Worst match of the year 2004....

Well at least you seem to believe that the two could have put on a good match had they cared, which I agree with more than to say they're two bad workers. You raise some interesting points and I'll definitely watch the match again (Truth be told I didn't really focus on in the first time, largely because I knew JBl was going to win and was dissapointed before it even started) to look for the things you said.
