Anaheim's 1,000th game is tonight. Has it been that many already?

Those days were awesome and a fond rememberance of my youth. He's better than the current Clippers color commentator.

Now look here pardner, if I was aimin' at makin' you like me, I'd a showed up at your doorstep with a fistful o' jelly the moment you joined these bulletin boards. But I didn't. My goal here is simple: to espouse the truth and wisdom that I've gained in my years. Ifn' that's too much for you to handle I suggest you saddle up your pony and ride on outta here before ya get sunburned. Now git.

A guest sees more at high noon than the host does all year. If you don't tend to your campfire, it'll fizzle out, like so many men's dreams. These are the dreams of the desert's harsh judgement.

The only "bumps" I'm concerned with are things that go bump in the night. One minute you're enjoying a siesta on your saddle curled up in the corner with a half empty bottle of cerveza, the next your feet are tied tighter than a pig loves its trough. If a man can't trust his own ranch, what can he trust?

"Shame on you." "Look at the schedule, guys!" "You're too deep in the forest to see the trees."

The soul of a desperado is as boundless as the desert sands. If you want predictions, you need only listen to the howling wind at night, traveling across those sands, carrying with it the seeds of time.

I've been to one or two Galaxy games before. I may go to another because of this. At least he chose the right city.

This is about sports cliches. Clutch is probably the worst, but I never liked it when people pretend that games early in the season are less important. Maybe there's less pressure on a baseball team for a game in June than there is in September, but the wins and losses count the same. If a team misses the playoffs by one game it's not just because of how they played at the end of the season. And what's with all of these new terms that come up, and everybody acts like they've been around forever? When did "walkoff" become an actual term?

It was the new year. A new horizon, a new view for our troubled world. But something happened in this dream that would make it all better. Max Kellerman was back on Around the Horn. Yes, I could hardly believe it. The set was new. The format was different, too. With each new topic, all four panelists stood up, and Max walked in front of the screens. Each panelist introduced three of their main points for the topic, and Max chose one to start, automatically muting the rest. At this point I thought that if the beginning of the show is different, then Buy or Sell must be gone, too! Alas, I did not get to find out, for the dream ended. Could this have been a vision of things to come? A mighty sign? OH WHERE ART THOU, MAX?!
